Half Price Decking & Timber

Thought I could overlook the bad reviews but to no avail. Placed order and paid online. As soon as payment made they came back with additional charges to pick up from their warehouse. Bad experience from the start and glad I cancelled order early given everyone else’s experience.

Please save yourself the hassle. We purchased timber decking boards from this company and organised a delivery date 5 weeks in advanced. The delivery date was confirmed by the company on two separate occasions via text message. I took the Friday off work to receive the delivery which needed to be done by crane. that morning, I finally received a phone call at 1.10pm saying they couldnt deliver it because they hadnt organised a driver in time. We had builders on site waiting for the deck to be delivered. I explained that we were losing money because they had failed to organise on time. They delivered the product 3 days later at midday on the Monday. we were unable to get our builder back until the Wednesday when he installed the deck. It was discovered on the Wednesday that there were 3 broken deck planks (they were completely unusable). I contacted them to organise a replacement and was told I didnt notify them straight away and that it couldnt be replaced. It was only when i threatened to go to the ACCC were they then able to organise 3 replacement planks but i would have to collect them. I ended up asking for a refund because I couldnt trust that they would deliver the replacement planks. The man used unnecessary language throughout his interactions with me and implied that it could be an insurance job (for 3 planks?) Anyway, please save yourself the trouble. Spend a little bit more and a deal with respectful people. Honestly this just wasnt worth it. I wish I would have read the reviews first. Lesson learned on my part.

Avoid at all costs. This would have to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Once they have the order and payment they do not care one iota about you or your delivery. 7 days from payment. Every time I contacted them there was a different excuse. Its the warehouses fault, its the freight companies fault, its the truck drivers fault and so on, and so on.

Beware of this company. They make you pay upfront for decking they do not provide, despite assurances that the order will be ready the week before we needed it. I'm not liking my chances of receiving the refund I have now asked for

they didn't know anything about problem and no more communication you need to be very careful if you are thinking about dealing with this company as they do not care about you the customer
