We purchased the2000w Inverter from a BCF in NSW. We realised it had issues (these things happen) by the time we drove into VIC a few days later . We took it into a Bunnings and they phoned Hardkoor, the Hardkoor people approved a replacement on the spot - no need to send it back etc etc . This made it all so easy and we were back on the road quickly. Show details · 2
Our replacement Hardkorr 200 watt failed, as had the previous one, and was out of warranty. However on contacting Hardkorr they have shown excellent good will by replacing our old model panels with the Mark 2. Excellent customer service. Show details · 1
Extremely difficult when claiming warranty . The director of the business is who you de add l with [Name Removed]. 4 people reported the off road camper trailer alloy wheels failing and the company refuses to replace under warranty but insists on… Read more
selling the rim for $400. Fair trading currently dealing with issue of failed warranty. Trailer itself has been amazing and quality product .
Follow-up · Fair trading were very supportive and stated I had every right to go claim warranty and were ready to take action. Due to replacement cost being only $300 and the urgent need for a replacement due to upcoming trip, I did not proceed with action against HardKorr and did not want to involve myself with the procedure. Obviously HardKorr took a gamble… Read more
My experience with them wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. If buying direct from them, don't waist your money with express post. For me, they didn't dispatch for more than a week, despite the product saying "In stock" with a green indicator on their website. I don't know why they bother to offer express post if they aren't even going to… Read more
stick to their own policy of dispatching within 2 business days.
Product I purchased (Lifestyle 4-bar Orange + White LED Camping lights) was of average/varying quality. Some parts were good, other parts....not so much.
The LED bar's themselves seem decent quality, and quite rugged. They look like they should last a while.
Cables are fairly cheaply constructed. Looks like PVC insulation. Its quite stiff, and I suspect it may start to split after a few uses. The chosen extension cable lengths seem like a good choice though. 2x2m and 2x1.5m, will make it very convenient for a few different layouts at the campsite. The connectors (M12 threaded barrel jack, and M12 threaded 4-pin) aren't great, but they seem functional.
The kit came with 2 separate dimmers. one for the white lights, and one for the white/orange lights. When the dimmers are running, you can hear them through the AM radio. The White/Orange dimmer wasn't terrible, with just a bit of extra background noise. The plain white dimmer was horrific, with an audible pitch coming through the radio. The dimmers work as dimmers, but are definitely not C-tick or EMC compliant. Disappointing for an Aussie company to be on-selling non-compliant cheap chinese dimmers.
The whole kit came in a lovely carry-bag, which is a nice touch.
Overall, the product had some nice touches, but not enough to make up for the deficiencies, given this is an Aussie product.
Purchased a set of HardKoor driving lights on 8/4/25 all wiring was there but the fitting to the headlights was not suited to my 2023 Prado, Contacted Nathan at customer service and said they have no fittings to suit my car which I find hard to believe as there would be thousands on the road. Have sent several Emails to Nathan at HardKorr with no… Read more

Exceptional Replacement Policy – Purchased a 3 strip tri-colour awning light kit in June of 2022. First time used in Nov '22 the control switch over heated and failed. I contacted the company and without questions or delay they replaced with a new switch. Used the lights with replacement switch and in Nov '23 again over heated and failed. Not happy. Contacted company and… Read more
spoke with Nathan? and explained. He found the previous replacement info in their system. Told me that there had been a bad batch of switches of which I obviously had. He apologised and without any further questions said I would get a replacement in the mail. TWO days later :) package arrived with 2 REPLACEMENT SWITCHES. Excellent Customer Service.
4WD light bar - a total disgrace – I purchased a Hard Korr XD-GEN4 22 Dual Row LED Light Bar for my Triton from Outback Equipment last year in preparation for a remote posting in NT. The light bar itself is excellent, no regrets. However, after only a couple of unsealed road drives both mount legs were gone. I had to have them replaced, at a considerable cost, as being remote I… Read more
had to take the bar off and put it back again while I was waiting for delivery.
The new legs broke after the FIRST DRIVE - just normal corrugated road with a few bumps, but nothing out of the ordinary. A huge disappointment: why put cheap plastic mounts on an expensive 4WD bar? that bar already cost me $500 extra because of the works and now I will have to look for a new one more suitable for outback conditions.
excellent product – bought the Tri-Color twin lights for our motorhome have no awning light strip on ours ,and these worked perfectly. The orange color is great at night . Show details
Fantastic products backed up by outstanding service – I own many Hardkorr products from led lighting, solar panels to lithium batteries and find each to be of the highest quality. I had an issue with one of my 200W croc skin solar panels recently and was able to take it to them directly. It was tested and replaced within 5 minutes. Thank you Hardkorr Show details
Poor customer service – Purchased a light bar on the 6th September. Haven’t received a confirmation email to say it’s been shipped. Rang the office on Thursday and was told it would be shipped on Thursday afternoon. Sent an email on Friday and got no response at all. Still hasn’t been shipped Monday 12th at 3pm. Sent an message on Instagram still no response. This is… Read more
extremely poor customer service. I’m regretting my decision on not buying a STEDI brand after being warned my my mates.
Fantastic service – Had a problem with my 200 w solar blanket which was still under warranty. I raised a fault, sent my blanket and regulator off on the Monday (express post for $95) and by that Next Friday, I had a brand spanking new one on my doorstep , and the cost of my postage was refunded and in the bank. Could not wish for any better than that. The only thing,… Read more
unfortunately I do not know what the fault was. I am an engineer and like to know that stuff. But all in all, great service.

Good light, poor hardware and customer service – I recently purchased a set of BZR 215 Xtreme driving lights and while the output of the lights is good, disappointed with the following. • I installed the Wiring harness but couldn’t get the lights to work so took my 4WD to an auto electrician thinking I had made a mistake setting up the provided wiring harness. Turns out I wired it up… Read more
correctly, but there was a fault in the Diode in harness which the auto electrician subsequently removed. • Also one of the Security Torx key supplied doesn’t even fit the security adjustment screws on the side of the lights to keep them steady, so had to get the auto electrician to use there tools to tighten the lights.
I emailed HardKorr explaining what had happened and asking will not having a Diode cause any problems. After a week no reply, so I resent my email and got a reply the next day confirming no big deal not having a Diode and to go to my local hardware store to buy a set of Security Torx key.
Maybe I’m missing something, but considering what these lights cost plus the amount of competition with driving lights, I struggle to work out why customers should have to pay to fix a faulty wiring harness or spend $20 buying a set of security Torx keys just so I can adjust these lights because the incorrect one was supplied with my lights.
Great service – I had 12v light kit that was 4 years old and it was given to me as a gift. I ran hard korr to tell them one of the cables had the wrong fittings on it and they sent a new one without an questions at all they didn’t even ask how old the kit was now that’s great service.
