Empty Promises, Empty Office – $850 for drives which never came. For some reason I got numerous emails promising but nothing arrived other than promises and I lost the money. I drove out to their office and it's an empty room in a pretty empty building. The trouble is the amount is too small for legal action but really, they are bad.

Do not deal with these people at all, they dont supply the goods or refund your money – I bought and paid for via EFT an MYOB program from them in Jan 2012 and to date 01/11/2012 have not received the program or refund of my money. I have registered a complaint with the ACCC, consumer affairs and I am now going to VCAT to resolve the situation. I have communicated with them via Email and attempted to call them. after excuse. These people should not be in business they are ripping of unsuspecting consumers. My next step is to go to the police to report my money stolen. Beware do not deal with this company at all.

The worst purchase experience of my life

Slow slow slow – Ordered two products from the website. Charged for both even though one is not yet available for another month. Had to contact them to find out that it is not available and that they are waiting for it to be available. Asked for refund for product not available. Informed that refund will be provided. ask again about refund. Informed by rep that he will check with the accounts department. Still waiting for a response.

Other product delivered to the wrong address. Asked by company to call up delivery guy for the product. Called up delivery company anyway. Delivery company said that only the supplier can change the address. Called company's supplier who supplied the product. Supplier said only the company that I bought it from can change it. Supplier actually said that they would call the company up to confirm. Company did not answer calls from supplier. Supplier called me up and informed me so. Informed company by email to call their supplier to update the address so I can finally get the product.

Now this is one month down the line.

Do I believe that the company is legit? To a degree, yes. Do I believe that they have enough people to run it? To a degree, no. Do I believe that they are competent? You decide. cheaper products cheap.. service. extremely slow in getting any issues resolved.

Is there anybody home? – Because of the long wait (4 months) for a $60 order which they kept telling me they were just waiting for stock to arrive, I eventually told them to cancel the order and reverse my cc transaction, now this is where it really starts to get fishy. Hello? They can't be serious? I can now smell bad fish. I spoke to the bank and as presumed they said never give out any bank account details and since Hardware Solution do have credit card facilities it's easy for them to refund the amount. It's now currently with the bank to pursue.

Why do they bother trading or is there some other surreptitious reason they are in business?

I decided to do some research and found the two (and only) reviews on this website.. Oh god - what have i gotten myself into!!! They started to get sketchy, vague and very slow with their replies. And although they were very friendly throughout the entire process, I was convinced i had been ripped off and that I'd never see my money again or receive my products!! And all for a saving of $13 - between Hardware Solution and another company i was originally going to buy from (who had fantastic reviews might i add)! And after reading their refund policy (which can take ages) i decided to boycott the refund idea and wait it out - in hope that my items would come. I didn't understand how an order from Sydney to Canberra could possibly take so long!! Considering i have bought items from America that have come within a week!! But after a long wait (four weeks), many many emails, many attempted phone calls - to my surprise - the products arrived! Finally, i could breathe a sigh of relief!!

If you (shoppers) are after something at a lower than average price and are willing to wait a bit of extra time - Hardware Solution is perfect.

I have paid $650 for the item and never even received a courtesy call to say anything, if it was in stock, if it was shipped, nothing at all.

I have just lodged and paid for an official claim/complaint with Consumer Affairs and wish this company to stop being there as it is obviously a scam, people shouldn't be allowed to buy from it or to enter their website.

Also, google shopping led me to that website, so make sure you do not trust Google shopping as obviously they do not have a filter for scam companies.

Totally unscrupulous – We paid for routers online in late October 2011 and as at 23 January have still not received them and are now taking legal action. now the 9th May and I haven't heard from them since, despite sending several emails, trying to phone them(always goes through to an answering machine)and then sending a final letter of complaint to them via email,post and fax.

I have reported them to the ACCC and Dept. Consumer Affairs. I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before I dealt with these rogues.

Absolutely Pathetic - avoid – These people should be shut down. They lie about not having a product sent saying "for unspecified reasons" blah blah. I have ordered a credit card charge back. called me back I asked for delivery dates, I got copy/pasted emails asking me to be "patient" and that I would receive a tracking number once the goods were shipped. Anyway, long story short, I contacted my bank to retract the transaction, which they had began to process. I let Hardware Solution know of this and that I had also contacted the media regarding their shonky business... miraculously after 5 weeks of no contact, the money was refunded to my account! Meanwhile I have lost 5 weeks worth of work, the "delivery charge" and the interest on my credit card.

My advice: spend the extra money and buy your software from a reputable company! Want proof... call their phone number, I guarantee you will get an anglo-saxon middle aged woman leaving a voice mail message.

They forwarded a document from a courier company saying delivery on hold (still no tracking number). I rang the courier company who had no record of Hardwaresolution.At this point resorted to daily emails, instructed bank to commence disputed transaction procedures and advised Hardwaresolutions I was pursuing legal options.

Finally recieved a tracking number and received items.
