Harris Farm Markets Bondi Junction

I have tried calling 4 times to ask if they had 2 whole wheels of d'Affinois cheese in store but got the answerphone to be told the message bank is full. Then they say thank you for using the voicemail system!!! Same thing happened at Bondi store as well as Randwick.. Making you actually waste time going to the stores. What is the use of having a telephone if no one responds

Worst experience ever – The woman with short hair in the room on the right in Bondi junction Westfield Harris farm is racist. A white man was picking tomato, she did say anything. When she saw me, she told me donot pick and other people will not buy it, so I take the not ripe tomato（green color) ?????

Out-of-date product & overcharged – Purchased item off shelf - it was 270 days out of date! The HF enquiry phone number cut out continually after initial recorded message and I was unable to speak to anybody - tried many, many times - impossible to get hold of anybody for assistance. the (missing-in-action) online chat staff on the HF website, there was no apology, no thank you for letting us know and to photograph the receipt, photograph the item, email them to HF and then 'go back to the store with item and receipt for a refund'. Very, very time-consuming. A customer does NOT want to get the cold shoulder, does not want to get the run-around, be given time-consuming extra admin jobs or be given extra errands to run when a store cannot meet basic food standards. Met with unfriendly disdain and no apology or explanation when we finally found the time to return to the store for a refund, the same out-of-date items, some obviously not fit for sale and some now with broken lids, were STILL for sale on the shelf covered in a thick layer of un-disturbed dust despite my enquiry & heads-up several days earlier. Zero points for customer service there... The same store has also massively overcharged me at the checkout several times in the past, including charging for over eighty items instead of the one item scanned. No apology, no explanation, store staff did not care one bit. It takes several days for a refund to be received back to a credit card, an unnecessary out-of-pocket financial expense for those on a strict budget. Lucky I checked the receipt immediately after exiting the busy, noisy store (most people don't) or we would have been charged over $100 extra. HF have lost us as customers.

Why no globe artichokes? – I love Harris Farm - always shop there in Randwick and Bondi Junction , so I am very disappointed that you don’t sell artichokes ( fresh green globe artichokes).

did mention it to the girl at the checkout, who wasn’t too keen on taking note of my comment. Think the Management should check it out… Harris Farm prices are over the top excessive. Also one of the staff was not very nice or helpful. Definitely room for improvement!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! – I made a delivery order on Monday. Not only did they not deliver all of my items, they refuse to respond to phone calls and emails to rectify this matter. They refuse to give me the items I paid for and won’t answer my emails. Worst company!! Never ever had rest groceries from them!!!!!

Great products - great company – Shop at Harris Farm in Randwick and occasionally in Bondi Junction. The range and quality of products are outstanding. The "Imperfect picks" and "specials" often offer great value. They've also been very proactive in abandoning plastic bags and minimizing packaging. The Bondi Junction shop is over the top in terms of crazy things you can do, fun to visit!  Show details

Disappointing restocks – I am basically a fan of Harris Farm markets, but I get disappointed in how often items on the site are not available or when they disappear from the website permanently. That said, the staff are excellent in customer service and the fruit and veg is fresh and top quality.

Be careful about substitutions – I ordered 4 meat patties for a bbq on the day of delivery - and they were substituted for a more expensive brand - and only two meat patties in the pack. Because they substituted what I'd ordered for something only half the equivalent - I was short for my bbq. around. I can't fault anything. Orders were on time. Quality of goods were excellent. If a product was unavailable they call me to check if they can substitute. I'm very happy with the current service and I hope it continues.

Incompetent staff – Asked Harris Farms on Facebook if they can order a specific produce for me for store pick up and they said they can. Went to the store two days after and was told no order / delivery was made for me despite showing them the message I got from their incompetent social media staff (who offered to order for me btw). A huge fan of harris farm and the delivery service.a – I really love the quality and delivery of Harris farm produce. However, it does bother me that I feel I need to do a stocktake of the orders as every order something is forgotten. I haven’t made any formal complaints but will be if this continues moving forward. Was happy not so happy with the quality I'm receiving now – The first few orders of fruit and veg were great but lately the fruit and veg that has been picked for me has not been lasting that long for example the strawberries I got last time were mouldy. harris farm bindi confused – Ordered online and selected collect in store bondi junction. Went to the one that i know in westfield, asked, they manager on the floor actually knew nothing about where to collect online...he asked some one who said that online collection was at eastgate ... had loads of stuff ordered so back to car, off to that hideous shopping centre to collect… Read more

my stuff but the fish etc was great. so it just needs to be more specific online, and ps - some of the stuff in westfield e.g. organic coffee beans 1 kg were cheaper in westfield harris farm than in the eastgate harris farm even with the 20% discount code applied to my order.. so don't think that the price you are buying online is the same as inshore... find that a bit deceptive

Couldn't be happier! – Ordered online for the first time from Harris Farm and I can't recommend the quality of service and produce highly enough. The order arrived on time, delivered by a friendly and courteous driver. Great service for our busy family – I'm a weekly shopper as our family eats so much fresh food and the service that Harris Farm provides satisfies our need for good quality food. Love Harris, but disappointed with new shipping bags for home delivery – One of my favorite things about Harris Farms delivery is the re-use of the shipping boxes that your stores have to recycle anyway. I stopped ordering from Woolies because they use far too many plastic bags. I was disappointed to see the use of new paper bags for home shipping. compostable etc, but we should always RE-USE before spending energy and fossil fuels to make these bags, even if they are recycled. Plus, when the bags get soggy from condensation, they are weak and are liable to rip. Additionally, the delivery man said he also didn't see the practicality in using all of those heavy plastic crates. Backbreaking work it he is delivering to a restaurant 20 boxes. Switch back to re-using boxes and it will all be good again!

Not a patch on Norton St Grocer that it replaced – I'm really disappointed with the new Harris Farm at Bondi, which has replaced Norton St Grocer. amazing soy and quinoa bread I used to get from Norton St, I haven't found witlof there, I could go on. What's the point of replicating the standard fruit and veg you can get mostly cheaper at Coles just across the way? Surely they should be seeking to provide things you can't get elsewhere, that's the only reason I go to a shop like that.

Also, the layout of the checkouts is really poor and difficult to navigate with a shopping trolley, and the people who stand there ordering you around are very annoying.

The delivery driver was really nice and had to do 3 trips up my stairs - which is why I tried ordering. Overall really happy, the only thing is I may have been a little more particular in selection if I was in the shop, but there is definitely nothing that arrived that will not be eaten. I will do this again.
