Shop somewhere else - Prices not as advertised – WHY are the prices always scanning in at a higher price than advertised in this store ! I’ve had it & it’s not an isolated incident either. I CANT shop here anymore & notified the ACCC of tonight’s incident.
Shocking customer service, pricing deception – This shop was great when it first opened in 2012 but now, sadly, due to a very rude manager, unacceptable customer service, being made to feel uncomfortable if returning perished products pre use by date, being regularly overcharging at check out, miss leading and incorrect pricing of products and inconsistent quality of produce it’s a 1 star from me. After speaking to other locals it appears others have had similar negative experiences.

Vermin are crawling through the fresh vegetables. I have been a daily customer for years. The new self-checkouts are great, but blinding lights have made seeing the rats crawling through the Bok Choy easy. I reported it to the manager, but he did not seem surprised. I won't be going back

I was Shocked!! Caring for staff to minimise Carona and Hand Washing facilities as you Enter – Harris Farm management act FAST to show their geniune care for staff and customers. Within days they had installed transparent plastic screens at the counter to prevent their staff from getting coughed on. Then they make hand saniters everywhere with nice signage. But the best of all this morning I go in and find they have plumbed in water hand… Read more
washing stations at the entrance!!!! And then, as I'm leaving, I see they've hired extra staff to disinfect all the basket handles. They have calming music and a security guard to make sure the vulnerable shopper are looked after with trollies. WTH!?! Plus they have waaaay more stock on the shelves than coles or woollies. On top of that, the bakery section still cuts my bread with a smile. Why would I shop any where else?? Genuine thanks for taking the stress out of my shopping.

no more fish n chips – As along time resident in Potts point, Im incredibly dissapointed you have stopped having take away Fish n Chips, unfortunately so are many of the other locals I talk to. We have no our Fish n Chips in Potts Point, your previous service was amazing as were the staff. Sorry I dont know why you needed to put a Bourke St Bakery in when we have one… Read more
around the corner. At the end of the day the muffins and the croissants are covered in flies. The peak times I have gone into your shop the Seafood section is empty, this was never the case before when the locals could get there cooked fish n chips, it was such a great service.
Freshest fruit and vegetables – I just love Harris Farm. The fruit and vegetables are so fresh and anything I buy from them lasts for ages. So much better than Coles or Woolies. The customer service is fantastic and they bag groceries so well for you ☺️
Amazing shopping and services – I am absolutely delighted by shopping online in Harris Farm, if they don't have those items that you have requested they send you and updated version of it without charging extra. Also the easy that you can buy is priceless. The one hour same day delivery is great for last minute shopping. Excellent. Show details · 1

I used to like shopping here – I bought an item marked at $24.99. When I got home I saw they had charged me $38.99. I went back to the store, took a photo of the item on the shelf, with the $24.99 tag in front of it, and presented my receipt to the assistant. First they tried to tell me the tag was wrong (it was for a smaller item, but I didn't put it there). Then they… Read more
offered me the price differential ($14) as a refund. Coles and Woolworths give you an item for free if they advertise it at the wrong price. I told them that but they said 'it's Harris Farm policy'. I was outraged.
Now most of us shop 'on trust'. We trust the retailer to advertise the same price on the item as we are charged at the checkout. Under Harris Farm's policy, what is to stop them charging extra for any item at the checkout? It's all well and good when the customer discovers they've been overcharged, points it out to the store and receives a "refund" (with or without an apology). But if the customer doesn't pick up the discrepancy? Why that's just a tidy little profit for Mr Harris, isn't it?
This experience has destroyed my trust in Harris Farm Markets. It comes on top of several items I have been overcharged for recently (ordinary beans charged as premium Italian beans, long chillies charged as more expensive birdseye). I have had to start checking my receipts before leaving the store. They have also stopped stocking many items I used to buy there, presumably because they don't 'sell'. [Vegemite doesn't sell???? In whose universe??] And they have a nasty habit of filling empty places on the shelf where missing items should go with surplus items from adjacent shelf spaces. Just to make the shelf look 'full' when in fact, up to half the items are missing. Saves having to stock shelves properly I suppose. Harris Farm are a bunch of penny-pinching cheapskates.
Very poor 'lamb' shanks – Bought 2 packs of 2 'lamb' shanks yesterday. Upon opening, they had an EXTREMELY strong smell, more like mutton than lamb. Won't be buying meat from there ever again!!
Expensive, poorly stocked and some deception – I’ve shopped at Potts Point for about 5 years. During that time HFM Pottspoint has generally been a good place to shop especially for fruit and veg. But not always! Be careful. HFM smoked salmon 100g $6.99 HFM smoked salmon 200g $14.99 Pricing error? Perhaps. I’ve reported this pricing ‘anomaly’ 4 times to management. Nothing has happened. … Read more
The biggest gripe I have with HFM (both Bondi Junction and PP) is the unreliable stocking.
Sanpelligrino is aggressively sold by HFM. You can get all the flavours EXCEPT Chinnotto (Italian Coke). Other shops around HFM PP stock it however notwithstanding the piles of all other Sanpelligrino flavours and countless requests for the Chinnotto - Nothing!
I applaud HFM for having a wet fish bar. However it’s ridiculously expensive. Blue Eye sells at HFM for $79.0/kg. At the smaller fish seller at Edgecliff it’s $59.0/kg! (I have to say the cheaper Blue Eye was fresher).
I’m concerned now that I can’t trust HFM to stock what I want, to price it fairly and if I buy volume that the price will be less/per instead of more/per.

Disgraceful – At the till the young bloke couldn’t care less. Wouldn’t acknowledge my payment had processed . Stood back with his hands on hips and foot up the wall Refused to offer me a receipt . Basically no interest at all in customers and a terrible advert for the business. I’m in there nearly every day spending plenty. Perhaps it’s time to shop elsewhere
ANZAC Day opening hours – I’m puzzled as to why you opened before 1pm on ANZAC Day? Seems so disrespectful especially when Woolworths and Coles weren’t opened.

Rotten chooks – Went to Harris Farm Potts Point today, bought a Free range chicken, got it home cut the bag open and the stench was unbelievable! Took it back got another one, opened the bag there, same thing, money back please! The thing that got me was absolutely NO APOLOGY. Straight to Coles, cheaper and no stench.

No seafood, no point – Lovely friendly staff, a great (albeit expensive) selection of fruit and vegetables, and an excellent range of delicatessen products, too. One could quite happily live by shopping at Harris alone! But no seafood. I stopped buying seafood at Harris Farm, Kings Cross (they call it Potts Point, but it's actually Kings Cross), Sydney several… Read more
years ago once I realised that one particular staff member there was literally incapable of giving the customer the quantity of food that they request. "I would like 1 kilogram of those prawns, please"... "It's 1.3Kg, is that ok?"... "No, I'd like 1Kg or less, please remove some"... "It's 1.2Kg, is that ok?"... Wash, Rinse, Repeat all you like, but you will NEVER get the quantity you request.
On the second or third occasion when this script played out, once I realised that I could no sooner expect this man to give me what I had asked for than to stick his hand into a raging fire at my request, I simply turned, walked away, left him with his damned prawns and never purchased seafood at Harris again.
Now if I had been buying whole fish and he had made a reasonable effort to meet my request insofar as was possible given the sizes of the products on display, it'd be no problem... but prawns? Really, dude? Really?!
Just two weeks ago I watched the same staff member pull exactly the same stunt on my wife. She too requested a specific quantity, was given a substantially larger quantity, and despite repeated requests, the guy simply gave her a "thick face" blank look, exactly as though he simply did not understand her request, when he had decided, for himself, the quantity that she would purchase.
Our conversation as we left the store went like this: "remember, a couple of years ago, I said I refused to buy seafood from Harris again?"... "yes?"... "it was that same guy".
Given that seafood is off the menu at Harris and we need to go elsewhere for that, there's really no reason for us to visit Harris at all any more. Given the convenient location we do prefer to buy veggies at Harris, but there's three supermarkets within a 500 metre radius and none of them charge the high prices for vegetables that Harris do... and two of them sell seafood.
Put simply: no seafood, no point.
(A tall, solidly built man of Asian appearance. Probably thinks he's clever and making a nice profit by pretending not to understand customer requests. He's driven these two customers away! A clear example of a commercial alliance damaging both businesses.)

Excellent home delivery service! – I tried Harris Farms' home delivery for the first time and am very pleased with the service. The online ordering system was easy to use and I really liked receiving a text message with tracking details so I could tell when the delivery was on its way. Far superior to Coles & Woolworths' home delivery. Will definitely use this service again! Show details
Great service, excellent groceries – Well packed, without unnecessary plastic bags, and delivered promptly. Harris Farm is always great, and their delivery is excellent if you're buying heavy groceries or stocking up. Show details
Well done – I was really happy with my first experience ordering online. The only thing that could be improved would be a clearer explanation of the "quantity" category. For example, I did not understand that the quantity for the potatoes was in kgs - and hence ended up with a few more potatoes than I had been expecting! I love the focus on local and seasonal food, keep up the good work! Show details
Convinent concept with poor execution and customer service – I like choosing a 3 hour window compared to Coles delivery which you have no control over. The website UX is pretty bad with search functionality hidden as if it was plain text. I didn't find it until after my 3rd order. The wholesale section is really fun. This is where I pick up most of my time/effort savings. I also like buying boxes of San… Read more
Pellegrino. Unfortunately these savings gained are tainted by very frustrating communication design including reliably unreliable delivery times. From 10 deliveries something has gone wrong with product every time. For a company that brag about picking great fruit, no one bothers to take care with my orders. Sour pineapples, green bananas, kiwi fruit needing 2 weeks before edible, completely dried out over fleshy oranges. My delivery notes have been flat out ignored every time. Then there is all the unexplained 30c email refunds. Many times I think about ordering, I decided the noise in my inbox is annoying enough that it is easier to walk to Bondi junction and shop in one of the big super markets
I've gone blue in the face giving feedback. I hate getting emails every order asking how they can improve and what net promoter score I should give when I've spend so much energy explaining the problems in their experience to be clearly met by a team not interested in incorporating and improving.
This company could be great. I think their experiencing growing pains. They don't have the family run edge.

Superb service – What a treat! While I always enjoy shopping at Harris Farm at Potts Point, it is in small quantities, as everything needs to be carried, but today I ordered freely knowing that it would be delivered to my home, without cost. item, and I was very happy with the substitution. A text was sent as the driver commenced deliveries in my chosen time slot, and the box arrived within 10 minutes, and was brought into my house with a friendly smile.
I particularly liked the quality of the fresh produce, and that chilled food was kept cold in special bag retained by the driver.
