Love my floors! – Absolutely love our flooring! Could not be happier with the end result. The team at Havwoods have been so wonderful from initial Showroom consultation with Liv in Sydney to receiving quotes from Hayden who also coordinated the install. We selected Ryde and it is so hardwearing and stands up to the wear and tear of our family and dogs! If you are after your dream floors - this is the place to go!
Will send you the wrong boards and NOT find a satisfactory resolution – We spent over $46,000 on floorboards and had a very BAD experience with Havwoods. They are quick to make a sale, but the after-sales support is appalling, and when we raised concerns regarding the boards we received, they were ignored. We ordered a sample batch of Fendi floorboards to determine the current batch's appearance before placing an order. We loved the colour, so we paid the invoice in full, and Havwoods advised us they would hold the stock in their warehouse until we were ready.
When we had the boards delivered, they were NOT what we paid for. They had rotated our stock, provided our secured stock to another customer and given us a colour that looked nothing like the batch we secured. What we received looks whitewashed and more like Blanco, a different board in their range. Because of this mess, we had to modify our whole colour scheme with our designer. Havwoods sent reps out but only offered us only $1,000 in compensation out of a $46,000+ order!
The straight planks we ordered came with many short pieces per pack. Some packs even had more short boards than long boards. Our floorboard installer, who has been in the trade for over 30 years, had never seen this with other suppliers. He had to lay many small planks within our floors, or we wouldn't have enough for the job. Not the outcome we both expected for a premium floorboard installation.
Stair nosing replacements took over 15 weeks to be sent out. They blamed this on a staff member leaving the company, so they forgot about it. They had no idea about the status of the nosings and only knew about this when I followed up with them.
I would never use them again and will use a company that listens to customers' concerns and provides adequate solutions in the future.
