Haymes Paint Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Ceiling White

Picked the wrong Haymes ceiling paint – I just purchased Haymes elite trade paint and have been thoroughly disappointed. I have painted hundreds of ceilings and this has been a disaster using up slot of my time. The paint splatters and appears to be watery. The worst part is that I have had to paint the cornices at least 3 times and sometimes ,4. When this 15 Lt is empty I will go back to their consumer brand as recommended here.  Show details

You get what you pay for – I've painted a lot of ceilings used most of the other brands .I find this product noticeably better than the other options and its convinced me to use this when i want to achieve top results.. Looks very rich and less chaulky than most ceiling flats and seems to be a finer finish . Its my preferred paint for ceilings.  Show details

Ceiling Paint Comparison – This is the best ceiling paint I have ever used , value for money solvent mixture is good resin ratio is good ,its creamy not watery ( in simplistic terms), I tried British paint too watery Taubmans the Same , Dulux too expensive for the same quality I live in Perth and Feb is warm to paint anything but it was not sticking at all Application is easy with a roller microfiber nap 5 is the best to use  Show details

I bought this product because of the 5 star rating given here – Great Quality paint. Low odour. Had a ceiling that had suffered 8 years of small water leaks leading to stains and discolouration. Leaks fixed but ceiling had to be fixed for Xmas dinner when the extended family came over. Went to the small Haymes outlet centre at Blacktown (super friendly staff). Went on like dream. Family had seen the "before" but were impressed with the after. Next time I paint I am only using Haymes.  Show details

Thanks – I've done quite a bit of painting in my life although not too many ceilings. Research brought me here and hence, I have just used this paint as recommended here on this site. Its done a wonderful job and cant see one streak or show up any impurities in my ceiling. Thank you!  Show details

Haymes fixed other bad brands, creamy, white and minimal streaking – Had bad streaking and coverage with British ceiling paint and The Dulux pink stinky one coat application. But did some research and tried Haymes, beautiful. Will only use this product from now on. Had to travel 60 klms to get it. You won't find the good stuff in Bunnings, had to travel to a privately owned country hardware to get it. Go to Haymes. Put in your postcode and it will give you the closest seller.  Show details

Best ceiling white I've used so far – Good thick paint, very easy to apply, fantastic bright white finish. Will definitely be using alot more haymes products in the future. Ceilings have not been my strong point in the past but with a good lamb's wool roller & the haymes impressions ceiling white i was over the moon with the results  Show details

Best I Have Used – Have painted many a ceiling over the years. The paints that start coloured then fade to white are junk. As is Dulux. You need 2+ coats to cover an already painted ceiling. in most cases if it's a touch up of a ceiling painted a few years ago, one coat will do (just make sure you roll/brush it on fairly thick).

In fact it's so thick it will fill any surface cracks in your plasterboard.

Oh, and it dries pretty quickly and has VERY low fumes. Thick, smooth consistency like cream, which makes it spread nicely and not get too thin in places. Looks like a professional job. Hard to find paint shops that sell it. Not available at Bunnings, Masters or Mitre 10.

Best of the ceiling paints – I hate painting ceilings, and I've been putting it off for a while. I did some Googling, and saw lots of horror stories about the big name ceiling paints. There were a couple of positive references to Haymes, so I decided to give it a try. Easy to apply, very flat, and very white. Minimal paint splatter. Highly recommended. Very nice finish – Just painted my ceilings with Haymes Premium. I like the way it is ultra white. It looks really crisp. I agree with the other reviewer, it is very creamy to apply and does not seem to splatter. It does have a very matt finish and this is nice. I recommend it. Nice to apply

New purchaser! – I Have used most ceiling whites on the market including Dulux Premium blue label wattyl id ceiling white and nothing compares to this finish, it is just beutiful to put on no splatter it seems to go on like cream not water, i cannot reccomend it enough. 5 stars the best the best
