Haymes Paint Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Ceiling White

Creamy, easy to use, good quality and value – After a disastrous experience with another brand, streaky, impossible to achieve coverage I gave up and purchased a 15 litre Haymes Paint Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Ceiling White. The difference was apparent from the first roll. Creamy, thick, great coverage and night and day to work with compared to the inferior, yet substantially more expensive failure. I still needed 3 coats to get the perfect finish and cover the streaky garbage underneath, but what a pleasure to use. I took approx. 1/2 the time to apply with no frustrations, and a whole lot less effort. Definitely recommend this quality product - purchased at the Haymes Ballarat store with equally good service to match.

A premium product for affordable price – After a very bad experience with Aldi product, I decided to buy from a reputable local company. That paint was a pleasure to use, it covers well using a roller and/or a brush. Just follow instructions printed on a drum. It is low in volatile organic compounds (<1%), basically no smell. Easy to use by an inexperienced painter (my wife did that part). White is nicer (whiter) than that of Aldi product, which is apparent when painted side by side. Worth to try, search for a stockist on the net.

Hides old ceilings and makes them look new – This is a low VOC paint which means it is better on your health. But does it do the job? It sure does! Ceiling paint is meant to be dead flat to give a loftier appearance to the ceiling. It does that but the bit that impressed me was the way it rejuvenated the join between the cornices and the ceiling. The home I painted is old with ornate cornices and an ugly join between the cornices and the ceiling (small gaps, slight imperfections due to chipping and cracking). The more obvious imperfections were filled with filler but the boundary was still a bit ugly. Haymes Expressions Ceiling White made the join look seamless, as though the ceiling and the cornices are one. The texture of the paint is thick which I like because it acts as a final filler, even though this may mean less coverage per litre. It is so easy to apply without drips. Highly recommended.
