I've had a long term problem with dry scalp and associated itch. I started using Sull Balm products about 5 months ago, namely their Itch Scalp Shampoo and Moisturising Itch Relief. The change has been significant. I no longer have powdery dry skin fallout and the itch has reduced to a mild level easily controlled and relieved by the Itch… Read more
Moisturiser. Seems unreal that I've used all sorts of products to no effect and this product actually works. My only remaining issue is to stop the habit of scratching my head for a non existent itch.
strong chemical smell – Has a strong and harsh chemical stench, reminiscent of a freshly disinfected kennel or public toilet. This one I bought in Woolworths I think, some years ago. Made in Thailand. I guess the ingredients change from time to time but the smell of this version is many times worse than what I remember using back 20 or so years ago, and worse than any… Read more
shampoo I have ever used. Best to open it up and have a smell in the store before buying, which is I guess what I should have done.
scalp is smooth – I love how moisturised my scalp has gotten after using this. I went to a beauty salon just last month and I was told to take extra care of my scalp. i think salon shampoos comes with a hefty price so i tried looking for a product that is available anywhere and found this. This didn't irritate my scalp and the tiniest amount goes a long way. Show details
Amazing scent – Head & Shoulders is one of my favorite shampoos, because it foams so good just with using less of the product. One of the best things is I didn't get greasy hair so far. Furthermore my friends said to me that my hair has such a good scent. Show details
No Selenium, no fix – H&S stopped putting Selenium in their mix some time ago, it used to work, it no longer does. You can buy liquid Selenium sulfide and add to organic shampoo - it actually works. I tried; apple cider mint rosmary lemon juice and Selsun Blue - Selsun Blue works but it will melt paint - it has Selenium 1%
Great – I think one of the best dandruff shampoo i have ever used. I have a dry scalp with dandruff and have tried bunch of shampoos on it which failed to work out eventually. I am a regular customer at orderandsave.com.au online store; because of the fact that they have a dedicated hair care store, they have all the updated products and I have been… Read more
crazily purchasing those to fix my issues with my hair. And yeah finally it got solved and by the way, just to mention that these guys really provide cosmetics at great prices. My girlfriend has been obsessively purchasing their products. cx lol! It leaves my hair silky and I have also noticed a visibly healthy hair body.
Head&Shoulders works alot better than to get rid Dan-duff Plus Dun-duff Flakes with Shampoo and Cond – Works Al lot better with Shampoo& Conditioning No Dan-duff Flakes or Dan-duff with Head&Shoulders works better than Clean Men Therapy. No Dan-duff never got rid of before and always had and two people had it even my Brother James said i didn't work and still and for Dan-duff Flakes that doesn't go away. Dan-duff flakes&Dufff with Shampooo and Condioning Never got rid Dan-duff Flakes with Shampoo only Condioning
I found that it does work. gets rid of dandruff & soothes an itchy scalp – I use this about twice a week it soothes my itchy scalp. Has a nice smell stops dandruff quickly. i great affordable product. its gentle, smells nice, its soft, it works, its affordable so much to choose from, can be confusing at times esp when in a rush
Excellent – My husband uses this product regularly and it soothes his dry itchy scalp. he has tried other head and shoulders in the range and these work just as well. It has a pleasant fragrance and stops dandruff quickly. It does need to be used regularly. if you use other products then the dandruff just returns. its the only dandruff range that works. great product that really does work. It gets rid of dandruff and soothes an dry itchy scalp. there are so many different head and shoulders in the range, its sometimes hard to find the one that suits you best.
Good – Started getting dandruf in my early 20s, went straight into head and shoulders for it and fixed it right away, didn't find "Dry scalp" care for a couple of years but it's great since they've brought it out. I tend to buy when it's on special but i have had to buy it when it is on full retail price, given the experience of going back to normal… Read more
shampoo to save a few buck brought back the dandruff. I have to wash my hair every day because i keep it short and use styling products everyday. I think it smells good, it's fairly fresh. I will, on occassion, use normal shampoo for a day just to shake up the routine but resume with H&S the following day. Gets rid of dandruf, soothes the scalp and doesn't irritate. I like how clean and light it feels when being worked through my hair and scalp. Lathers nice. Priced a little high for supermarket brands, but cheap when you buy salon stuff
OK – works quite well, gets rid of dandruff and itching. Have used a few other shampoos in the past but tend to come back to head and shoulders. Other than the price issue (tend to buy the larger size when on special) it does remove dandruff and leaves hair really soft and manageable. The biggest problem with the shampoo though is that it is not… Read more
friendly to dyed hair, I find that it usually removes the colour much faster than normal shampoos therefore limit using it to only a couple of washes otherwise very happy with it so far. eliviates itching and dandruff price
Excellent – Have tried several anti-dandruff products and keep coming back to this one. Works better than any other i have come across to remove dandruff. Also excellent for relieving a dry, itchy scalp, which i get particularly in winter. For me, i need to use it about once every two days for the best results and because of this, it can end up to be a little… Read more
pricey, but well worth it. Also leaves my hair shiny and soft which is a definite plus. Removes dandruff. Alleviates itchy scalp very well. A bit expensive.
OK – Alright product, costs just a bit more than other supermarket brands and is also more pricey than other better brands. But price is just a small factor in this product. It removed most of my dandruff which is a plus, but I certainly did not like the smell. When I first used it, it was the smell which hit me first. The conditioner is okay, but did… Read more
not leave me hair as silky smooth and as soft like other conditioners do. I found these to be just average shampoos and conditioners, they did nothing special. I did not particularly like the smell, I like things to smell nice.
Good – I found Head and Shoulders dry scalp care to be a very effective product in alleviating dry scalp and itchyness, particulary for those who perhaps wear gel each day for work etc. The only issue that many could find would be the price in which I have resorted to using it only once or twice a week. Due to my use of gel, I tend to get a dry itchy… Read more
scalp around the crown of my head. Whilst normal shampoos only irritate, Head and Shoulders actually did work by moisturising my scalp and alleviating the dryness and itchiness. The price given the small bottle and that the product would not go a long way if you were to use it everyday.
