whole point of using an online shop is that they deliver. It should be simple. All the shipping information at this business is a lie.

I made an order and gave an Australia Post parcel locker as the address. They accepted the order and my money, but then refused to fill the order unless I gave them an alternative address, saying that they cannot deliver to parcel lockers. They would not come right out and say that they did not use Australia Post. If they used Australia Post, or most other delivery services, there would be no problem delivering to a parcel locker. (*Update: in a third email they admitted that they used Star Track, not Australia Post. Star Track is a courier service operated as a separate company but owned by Australia Post. This is not at all the same thing as using Australia Post for deliveries. They do not use Australia Post at all, so this is a lie on their website.)

I also had to wonder why they were so adamant about getting a home address. I like using parcel lockers for the extra security of not giving all of my details to online sellers (and because I cannot receive parcel deliveries where I live). I also know that Star Track parcels will be diverted to a post office of they have been addressed to a parcel locker. They could have just sent the parcel to the parcel locker address. Australia Post would have just sent me a message saying to collect it at a post office. This happened to me just this week with another parcel (and another business that claimed to ship using Australia Post- but at least they actually sent the parcel).

The shipping policy does say they do not deliver to PO boxes, but this is normal. PO boxes are not made for parcels. Parcel lockers are explicitly there for parcels. I use a parcel locker for all deliveries, and I usually have no problem because I am careful to only order from companies that use Australia Post for delivery. So, we are back to the lies on their website. I would not have ordered from them, except that they claimed to use Australia Post.

Also, the home page says that they do nationwide next day delivery, but in the shipping policy it says they can only do next delivery in Melbourne, and for an additional cost, and all the delivery times are far longer than the next day. The home page is flat-out lying to get you to order from them.

It was a total waste of time ordering from them because I can only receive packages using a parcel locker. They accepted my my money and my order with a parcel locker address, and then I had to waste time emailing back and forward with them and arguing to get a refund- which I am still waiting for.

This business is plain dishonest and dodgy all round.
