Will be the first and last time I shop with Kogan
I recently bought a new Kogan TV for $750 ($200 dicounted). A brand new 55 inch QLED android TV. I went with Kogan because ive read that they have good quality TVs for a good price. But a good price must come at a cost to others things. They have definitely cut costs with customer care. Within the first 2 months of having the TV it has stopped working several times and was required to be reset. I didnt take this too seriously as the TVs these days are packed full of technology and pretty much replicate a computer. You often have to restart your...computer. Even though my previous Samsung TV lasted for over a decade with no issues at all! But when my remote control started playing up, that was a different issue. This isnt packed full of technology. It is a basic transmitting device. With what I can assume has a pretty high mean time to failure. Meaning that if it were to be used for its intended purpose, should last for years. It didnt. it lasted 2 months. Now for the customer care. Kogan has to be the only company that ive dealt with that chooses not to have contact phone numbers. This can only be to cut costs, and to ensure that they can answer requests when they see fit. Everyone knows that emailing contact centers makes it substantially harder to get basic requests attended to. Rather than being able to make one phone call, convey your issue, and resolves it there and then, instead you need to wait for a reply, if that is insufficient, reply back and then so on and so forth. You get the picture. The only way that they have provided customers to dispute faults with their items is via your account and submit a question, a question. This solves nothing. This is not before you are bombarded with fault finding techniques and others way to solve the issue without contacting. In most instance these fault finding practices may work for an issue, but not mine. I am 100% sure it is the remote. I tried conveying this to them in as much detail as possible. 3 times. The first time, they got back to me and asked if I had asked the stock department if they had spare stock. Kogan asked a customer if they had contacted Kogans stock department. Am I missing something here? Thats not my job. This is such a simple thing to resolve. Find that the item is definitely still under warranty and send a new remote! They would cost less than $1 for them to make in China. Considering I paid $750 for the TV. Then you can request the faulty item back for testing if you so wish. Its not rocket science. You would think commonsense would prevail, but alas it hasnt. Im still waiting for this to be rectified after a week. Oh! May I also add that the TV is rendered useless without a remote. Because there are no buttons. So, in short, the remote failed after 2 months, they wont help me and my TV is useless without it. This ultimately drives me to one conclusion. To buy a new remote, which they conveniently sell for $50! So they have terrible customer service and try to rip you off. Just go to a shop. Where you can be sure you can take it back and have that piece of mind there is someone to help.
Kogan online store
On 23 April I ordered two different USB cables for my new laptop. One appeared to be available for immediate dispatch, the other was showing 10 days.
After my order was processed, one cable was ready for dispatch, while the second was now to be dispatched 11 June (???????). My second item was never available and there was no option to change or cancel the order.
Kogan is being dishonest in the way their online store operates. If a product is not available it should show "Unavailable", not encouraging the public to buy products that are clearly not available.
Their "change order" process simply does not work !!!!!
Other online stores are able to manage this, why can't Kogan.

Delivery with allied express is simply a nightmare
I did order a smart tv 600$ worth with Kogan. Can’t get it delivery, can’t even have answer from allied express who is in charge of delivering it. These people are lucky not to live in Minneapolis. Big shame. Kogan is not good, allied express even worse. Don’t spend your money with them, they just stupid idiots
Terrible service -cancelled order
I placed an order for a mattress from One Shop on Friday after lunch as I expected a family member to visit. I received an email stating that the order would be shipped from Melbourne in 1-2 business days .I cancelled the order at 2 am Monday (The first business day after the request) and received an email within minutes stating my cancellation request was received .I received an email later that day stating :
Unfortunately the item has been dispatched.
If we are to request for the item to be returned back and the item is received back by the ...

Kogan is Good
I have bought a lot of items from Kogan within the last year. And while I find their items cheaper, that comes down to a bit low quality. Having said that, I still prefer to buy from them but only those items which I do not consider to last more than a year. Something like a wireless headphone costs $25, so I ordered one for each family member. Two of them broke within 4 months but I never expected them to be long lasting.

No Consumer Guarantee 2 months after end of Warranty
KOGAN does not offer consumer guarantee outside of manufacturer warranty just 14 months after purchase. Wireless headphones falling apart (see photo) and they refused to repair, replace or refund stating:
"Given the time that has passed since this product was purchased, any issues are likely to be the result of wear and tear through regular use.
Please note that due to the age and price of your product, this is no longer covered by the Kogan.com Minimum Voluntary Warranty Policy. We believe that the product has lasted a reasonable amount of time and that the statutory guarantees afforded to you as an Australian consumer no longer apply."
These "Extreme Comfort" headphones are no longer comfortable.
Absolute lying scammers
Purchased some LG headphones because of the 'advertised by Kogan' direct warranty from LG. Well surprise surprise when LG wanted nothing to do with it. I even had a printed document from Kogan stating that the warranty is direct with LG.
I provided this info to LG who confirmed over multiple calls they wouldn't touch the headphones and the document was fake as LG do not offer this product in Australia.
Kogan wouldn't touch it either claiming it was LG's responsibility. I had to go back to LG to obtain a reference number to prove I wasn't making things up.
This all took months and months of stuffing around and I never got to use my headphones as intended.
Chalk that up to a $~180 lesson never to buy anything again from Kogan..!!!!
Kogan is not Australian. Scammers
I bought a "Kogan 3800 Lumens Full HD Projector (F500)" from Kogan website. When I received the unit, I tested it. I found out that it is faulty and has a problem showing the colors correctly on the screen. I lodged 2 case with Kogan to return the faulty device and get a refund. They did not respond to me at all and ignored all my requested. Basically, they scammed me and sold me a faulty device which resulted in losing money.
There is no support phone line for Kogan as they are not physically in Australia. They are else where abroad and probab...
misleading presentation of products and there is no customer service to contact about faulty item
The website is a fraud that has no customer service to contact. Website makes it look like that you are getting the products from one place until you pay for the items then you realize that all items arrive separately from different sellers that you have to contact individually if your product is faulty or arrived damaged which I have done so but never received a reply and kogan website says that the products are not covered by warranty anyway. It is a scam and I regret using it. You better off just going to the store where you can look at the ...product before buying it and return it without hassle if its faulty or changed your mind, Do not shop from this website if you don't want to be scammed because I noticed that some items are way overpriced and not even packed well to avoid damage. What made me angry the most that one of the item on my list was listed for (on sale) for $49 but after I finished the payment process in the bill it charged me the full price $55. This kind of software issue is not acceptable and shows how bad and untrustworthy the company is. Description of items are not truthful either or not enough details provided

Misleading and very poor customer service - if you can actually get it.
Worst customer service. They make it almost impossible to contact them. Be aware that they advertise discounts via email but when you add the products to the cart the discount disappears. Very deceitful. Don't trust Kogan

BEWARE! Untrustworthy and dishonest company
BEWARE! Kogan present themselves as a single business, but actually are handing off responsibility for many purchases through their website to other suppliers. They say they will guarantee the delivery regardless, but it seems this guarantee is meaningless. Just try to get them to offer a refund for something where the supplier offers endless excuses for not delivering and doesnt even bother to answer their phones. Kogan offer no help and take no responsibility. They say on their website they will call if you ask them to, but they never will. T...hey just hide behind lengthy email delays or dont even respond. There is no excuse for such appalling service these days. Dont just take my word, take a look at the reviews on SiteJabber where they talk more about the company than individual products. Their response to this will no doubt be the usual canned "continue responding to our emails..." which is a ploy to waste your time till you give up. Dont give up....they are an Australian company and are subject to our strong consumer laws.
Fabulous service with warranty cover
When i experienced a faulty Samsung product, Kogan were fantastic with assisting me in diagnosing and then organising the return of the product fot assessment. A replacement product was issued under warranty and the whole process only took a couple of weeks from start to finish.

Disgusting customer relations
Received dodgy chairs with staples and buckling almost like plastic fabric. Not as described at all and terrible quality. Put complaint though - I sent plenty of photos. They advised would refund and I should “dispose” of the stock, I said I am happy for you to pick it up. Anyway few minutes later she said no send back at your own fee and we will assess! I am so furious. Do. not use Kogan! They are impossible to come to if something is wrong. They take no responsibility and are almost impossible to communicate with.
Disgusting level of service!
I’ve lodged complaint with ACCC and will go to VCAT. False advertising and they are misrepresenting their products
Do NOT deal with Kogan or their courier service, Sendle!
Updated 3rd June, 6:45PM
Three full business days since someone from Kogan responded to my review here and I’ve heard nothing more so I assume they still expect me to provide a statutory declaration to prove I did not receive my parcel. I had intended to do that but I am not going to now, one, on principle (I should not have to prove I didn’t get it, Sendle should have to prove they did deliver it) and two, I care for my mother and I am not risking her health by going out at the moment to provide Kogan with a statutory declaration so that they ...
The worst online business.
The worst online business no contact number priests that answers that don't help you keep going around in circles. What sort of business doesn't have a contact number for faults and problems just steal your money $600 wasted. Just over a month for a $600 TV and it's already broken down and impossible to get in contact with Kogan. Won't be buying again from these guys. What a waste of time and money do yourself a favour keep right away from these guys, they're the worst online business.
and if you go to their online you see they have hundreds of unhappy customers with the same problems they just sell rubbish products.
Free shipping Scam
Purchased coffee from Kogan with promotional free shipping. After 14 days I was charged $11 monthly subscription fee which wasn't clearly stated at the time of the purchase. Going on their website to contact customer service and there are just preselected options to lodge the enquiry with no option to email or phone someone.
I don't appreciate them holding my credit card details and continue charging it without my approval. After reading reviews this happens to alot of people and it is really bad that Kogan continue deceiving their customers like this.
No cash refunds
I purchased a product which was not fit for my intended purpose and I requested a refund. The refund was declined. I will buy from JB Hi Fi in future because they refund with no questions asked. Also, my request for a call back was ignored. After sales communication was slow and difficult. Not impressed! Will not be using Kogan.com again.
Account was hacked without resolution
There was an unauthorised transaction for a Samsung mobile phone on 24 May n I immediately emailed sales Kogan at its within 15 mins of receiving the mail to notify them. There was no response n I send another mail was sent with all the documentation to say my account was hacked. I couldn’t even log into my Kogan account cos the hacker changed my password. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ Dual SIM costing $1.344 was addressed to a Daniel Craig

Questions & Answers
I just want to know that has anybody recently bought Samsung SM9860 S20+ 5G (SNAPDRAGON) version from Kogan.com. I am wondering that is it worth buying and how is it like if someone has already bought it?
Or is it better to buy an Exynos 990 version from here in Sydney Australia?
