I had a trusty old night light that had been in use for years so when i needed another one for a different corner of the house, i looked up the brand- Mort Bay. I’m glad they still make night sensor lights! The light brightness is just right for our kitchen.

I entered a wrong delivery address, noticed it immediately and tried to change it but it didn't work. The AI assistant is USELESS, tried several times to update my delivery address and failed. There is no contact number so I submitted a ticket.… Read more
Have now been trying to get a response via WhatsApp and they have come back with I must contact the courier and try and change the address. Obviously only interested in money, once they have it, no consideration or customer service.
Follow-up · I had to collect the delivery. Kogan was not helpful at all. Just sent a standard email response. Very slow to reply. If the AI worked, there would've been no issue.
Kogan TV's a such good value, I have 2 now, a 60" one and a 24" one. The large one I've had over 12 months and it's working fine and the new one was delivered yesterday and so far so good. Excellent value so very happy. Show reply
Follow-up · The sound quality is interesting. I often have to turn it up and a message appears that I've gone too far but sometimes it's still not enough! Seems to depend on what channel is on. Ordered some JBL headphones from Kogan. Received notification that they were out for delivery, and then after several days, we received an email saying that there had been logistical problems with the delivery. Kogan informed us that the product was no longer in stock and offered some alternatives. However, they were all inferior models and at a… Read more
lower price. A refund for the difference in price was not originally offered. After we made Kogan aware of the price difference, they organised a full refund. Looked like they were trying to shortchange us and hoping we wouldn't notice the different prices.
To make matters worse, the headphones still show up as in stock on their website, and they have blamed a third-party operator for the delivery issues and offered no further compensation beyond the refund. This was a birthday present and, after being over two weeks late, all we got was a refund and eventually went to JB Hi-Fi and purchased from them, who were able to price match Kogan in any case. We try to support Australian businesses, but this level of customer service from Kogan makes us put them on the do-not-purchase list for the future.

A quick google of “Kogan after sales issues” should be enough to warn everyone not to deal with this business. From personal experience now I’d say be very cautious purchasing from Kogan, especially if you notice the item is through a third party seller (I didn’t even realise this may be the case till too late). machine from Kogan on 22nd March which was advertised as in stock and dispatched in 3 days and after seeing it still wasn’t dispatched a week later requested a refund. I was the given the run for more than 4 weeks by their “customer support” team and still no sign of my refund being processed. Luckily in the end my bank was able to dispute the transaction and refund me.
