Powerland have been terrible to deal with. I have made two separate orders in a month. First order was for a Puretec font. The incorrect font was sent out. is holding up gaining certification on our project.

Second order for a Stiebel Eltron hot water unit was stalled for two weeks. We are now told the item is damaged and will be another two weeks. Again cannot get rep to respond and am struggling to get a resolution. Worst purchasing experience I have ever had with terrible customer supprt.

I heard various plausible-enough excuses, mostly blaming Allied Express - all with zero evidence.

Then late afternoon on 20/3 the missing item turned up at Powerland's depot (surprise!!) and was then delivered to me by 9 am next day (yesterday 21/3). Thanks to Matthew.

I was pressed for time but to my untrained eye it looked OK. So you can imagine my shock this morning when the stonemason arrived, opened the box in front of me, took one look and pointed out not one defect but two (see photos). Firstly, a curl on the edge right where it needs to be absolutely flat. Also a small dent in the basin.

Here's hoping someone higher up at Powerland is empowered to resolve this once and for all, preferably without any more finger pointing and in a realistic time frame. Matthew estimated two more weeks as a worst case.

Saturday. I phoned their office to make sure a delivery could be booked for Saturday. They asked if they could call me back. They did not call me back. Saturday at 8:30am the drivers called. They said they could deliver that Saturday between 2pm and 3pm. Or on Monday or Tuesday if that is better. I said today, is good for delivery. They arrived. Pulled off the packaging. I could see a dent in one side. They turned that side away from me. I got them to bring it in and slide it into the under counter position. I pulled the plug through the hole at the back to ready it to be plugged in. The delivery person left a small A5 booklet. Not many pages. That was my user instructions. He said not to turn it on for 2 hours. I put on a timer and waited. After 2 hours, I turned it on. 4 days later, I realised the light inside was not turning off and the fridge, that I’d set at 3 out of 7 was not cold. This is in a cold corner of an air conditioned house. I changed the setting to 4. Items were still not cold. I found a light switch half way to the back of the fridge. It only turned the light off and on. I’d read on a website that the light should turn on when the door was opened. I called the suppliers on the A5 booklet. They said they could not help me unless it was 15 days after delivery. So I must call Powerland to resolve the light and temperature. I called Powerland. They said I must call the distributors listed on the booklet. I told them I had spoken to the distributor, and since it has only been five days since delivery, they said I must call you. After being put on hold several times, this was the out come. - The internal light only turns on and off manually. The light will not automatically turn on, when the door is opened. So I must choose to leave it on or off. If I leave it on, then the bulb will have to be changed more often. - to have the temperature checked, I must fill out the Powerland online form and they will then forward it to the distributor. The distributor will then decide if they will send someone to check the internal temperature. I have turned the temperature up to 5 out of 7 inside an air conditioned home, in a cold corner. The booklet says 5 is a summertime setting for hot days. It is an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius outside. The inside of the house temperature for that corner is 21 degrees. I still feel that the setting at 5 out of 7 is abnormally high for the placement of the fridge. But I must wait for 10 more days to speak to a technician.

I placed my order late on a Friday afternoon, and to my surprise, the fridge was delivered by 9:15 AM on Saturday morning. The delivery experience was outstanding – the driver (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was professional, courteous, and kept me informed. He called ahead to confirm the time slot and again when he was 20 minutes away, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Powerland has won me over with their great prices, fast and free delivery, and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be shopping with them again when I need electrical appliances. Highly recommended!

when I asked something confused about extending the warranty. A few minutes later, I ordered a new TV from Powerland via eBay because her explanation helped me decide to make a purchase, and its price was fantastic. Of course, another decisive reason was their review score.

After ordering, I wondered if it was going on a process correctly because I paid for my extended warranty via a special temporary payment method I hadn't experienced. She understood my request even though I didn't explain it in detail and told me what she would do in the next step. After a few minutes, she sent me a receipt email that included an eBay payment and a special one. Her swift processing and clear understanding impressed me because such processes were generally slow and complicated.

Surprisingly, my order arrived a week earlier than I expected, and my family were excited about thinking about watching a new TV. However, unfortunately, we had to face a weird situation. We were very embarrassed and disappointed because there were no remote, screws, or manuals. I phoned them quickly and claimed out my abnormal situation with a slightly irritated voice. She said firstly very sorry about it, and tried to understand my status and told me calmly and kindly that she would send those things as soon as possible, and also asked me a favour to wait some days. I felt that she tried to understand sincerely how customers were annoying.

We were desperate to watch our new TV quickly, so we tried to find places that included the accessories via watching YouTube. Eventually, we found those on the very top of the box that we had skipped opening that part as we thought it was an empty place. I apologised for this happening, and they were pleased for me to find those.

Significantly, the front person's role in facing customers is undoubtedly essential. I thank them again for their quick, safe delivery and attitude to resolving the customer's inconvenience.

emails to organise delivery were clear. The delivery driver was very good and careful with bringing the appliances in - it was an easy delivery. Regarding after-sales service, we had an issue where our bank made a mistake on the transaction. Powerland were extremely helpful while I was trying to get to the bottom of that. Will buy from them again because of good prices, delivery and communication.

confirmed they would. I had to drive a long way to the house. I then got a message to say the delivery window was between 3.00pm to 5.00pm. I called at 4.50pm as it appeared it would be late or cancelled,only to be told they would be delivered within an hour. I was not impressed because they should be advising if the driver is running late. This put me in a difficult position as it was getting late and I had a 1hr 20 min drive back to my current home probably in the dark and I don't see well in the dark. When the items were delivered, the kitchen tap was missing. I asked the driver who said he didn't have it and that it was crossed off the list. No-one bothered to call me and advise that so again, it's up to me to chase it up tomorrow to ask why it was crossed off, why didn't they tell me and advise a solution, and ask where the hell is the tap which I paid for. This is extremely poor after sales service. I was thinking about replacing 2 more appliances before my move to the other house which is getting renovated but I'm not going to after this experience and I'll never buy from them again.

Money refunded quickly – I purchased a wall box air conditioner from Powerland, unfortunately the manufacturer didn't have any available. Powerland said I could wait until stock was available around the end of March or I could have my money refunded. My $1300 was in my account about 4 days later. Very good service and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another item from them.

Timeline Monday 17th July - order placed and paid in the afternoon. Invoice received on the same day stating that it aim to dispatch within 1-5 days and be delivered 1-5 days from then.

Friday 21st July - called in the afternoon, the lady who answered was pretty rude stating something along the lines of "...well you placed the order on Monday, and our policy is within 1-5 days to dispatch, so it'll be dispatched at the end of the today or next Monday." like I was in the wrong for not reading their policy first before asking what's going on. No reason given to me to why it hasn't been dispatched though

Monday 24th July - no updates or notifications given

Tuesday 25th July - called in the afternoon, and the guy said it will be dispatched either tonight or tomorrow morning and I'll receive a notification.

Wednesday 26th July - called again in the afternoon after no notification, and the guy said its getting dispatched tonight. Received notification in the evening from the courier (rather than Powerland that it has been dispatched) that they have picked up my package.

Friday 28th July - update from courier that it will arrive roughly 2nd August next Wednesday, over 2 weeks after I placed the order.
