Expensive product not living up to its name – I purchased the HEATLIE ISL GOURMET ELITE L2 SS316 with lid and base about a year and a half ago, very expensive but I thought support quality Australian made .It worked well and we loved using it but is very difficult to clean as the waste hole is far too small and blocks up. . heatlie , the person I spoke to suggested I check the connection, which I did . One end of it was not connected. To reconnect it , you need to remove the entire bbq as the connection point is contaminated inside a separate compartment in the cabinet. …as it was still under warranty, heatlie told me to contact who I purchased it from, BBQs Galore and they would sort out repair. This is where the the merry go round begins…. Neither BBQs galore nor heatlie will repair the problem. I even though it is still under warranty. Since then the temperature gauge have fallen out of the lid .I now have a big useless stainless steel bbq on my deck. Very disappointed.
