Pros: My twins like the taste No vomiting No diarrhea No wind pain Easy to burp (I do add Infacol drops as instructed by a pediatrician) Settle easily Happy to drink more of the formula and don't pull off the bottle and cry! The other formulas I tried previously were; … Read more · 1

Wow! Glad I found this formula :) – My 3 month old has been on NAN Comfort since day 2 and everything seemed fine up until 5 weeks ago. She never really increased her intake since then and was getting fussier and fussier at the bottle. She then started losing interest in the bottle and drinking less and less. She was also very gassy. I spoke to our GP who suggested a HA formula… Read more
which is easier to digest and see if it made any differences. She gave me a few samples of NAN HA and unfortunately it made it worse. First of all, she didn't seem to enjoy the taste (couldn't blame her as it smelled pretty awful!) - I could tell she was hungry as she was tucking in but then she would spit most of it out. I managed to get her to have a couple of bottles in the course of the Afternoon, but that evening she was even more unsettled, crying in pain and having smelly wind. So I thought I would try with a different non gold formula (I am not a big fan about all those extras added and I know they can cause upset tummies because of the way they are sourced) and I gave the Heinz Nurture Original a go. Wow! From her very first bottle, she drank pretty much everything (over 200ml!), she had a wonderful sleep (all night!) and she has been very settled since. She obviously likes the taste (smells milky and fresh, not like chemicals), it's inexpensive, made in Australia and it seems to be very gentle on bub's tummy. It doesn't have any probiotics, but I can live with that :) Also, it's frothy once made up but bubbles are so small they don't pass the teat and bub is fine :) Maybe better making it in advance? Not ideal, but if you don't like froth it's possibly the way to go. Such a shame Coles doesn't stock it, however I find it at a good price at the IGA around the corner and at BIG W or Chemist Warehouse. Glad I found it and glad it suits my baby! :) Sometimes the most basic and simple products are the ones that work. Less is more! Baby loves the taste, no tummy troubles, made in Australia, inexpensive A little frothy, no probiotics (but it's no big deal!!)
Fantastic formula – we bought this after trying 4 other name brand forumlas on the market with no suceess, it is great, our son has grown like a weed, now at 4 months looks and weighs like a 9 month old and wears a size 1, it's fantastic cannot complain at all, at first we were shaking it vigorously and of course it would be frothy but then we started rolling the… Read more · 2
bottle more gently after adding the powder and it does not get frothy that way. It also tastes quite nicem, it's not too sweet or thick. The best thing is that it's one of the cheapest, if not THE cheapest, formula on the market. I buy from Woolworths but it's also at Coles and Chemist Warehouse. Only bad side is I haven't seen it many local chemists/servos etc as it's not one of the 'popular' brands, but I always stock up so not a problem there really. And, yes I did compare the ingredients side by side with the cans of formula we tried at the start - SMA, Nan Pro Gold, S26, Karicare Gold and the ingredients really are so similar as to say the difference is really negligible. OK so those using the Gold formulas are going to say Yeah but the gold ones have fish oils and some other stuff to help the child's brain development etc, but this is all stuff none of us ever had when we were babies and most of us are just fine. In fact, in my opinion all this fancy stuff is useless as I feel the generations are just getting dumber, not smarter, and when I was a kid, no-one had peanut, dairy or any other allergy and now it seems every second kid has it. OK rant over :) LOVE this formula and will use again for any future kiddies I decide to bring into the world. Everything, the price, taste, texture.

Great! – I have used this formula since the birth of my first and still using it on my 2nd and 3rd babies. Its easy to prepare, all my babies love it, i have tried them on others but still come back to Heinz, other formulas caused my babies to be constipated and vomit, with this formula they go perfectly with it.
Shame it is being discontinued – I thought it was worth writing for anyone elses interest. My baby never had any issues with the heinz nurture range. We'd just moved to #2, and he always finishes his bottle, never any reactions or digestive issues. Always found it well priced, and easily available, until recently. Chemist warehouse informed me they were no longer stocking… Read more
the product. I emailed Heinz, who informed me they have discontinued selling the formula in Australia, and that over the coming months there will be limited availability..
Time to find something else now.
Easy, convenient and easy to digest! – I tried a few different baby formulas as my child had issues with reflux. My baby tolerated this formula the best and I found she was much more settled and had no issues with constipation. This formula is very easy to prepare. I have no hesitation in recommending to other parents.

That dang lid – Not much to say about the formula itself as my boys have all loved all brands, only issue for me, and wont be buying anymore because of it is that dang lid. I always make the bottle up with my baby in one arm and getting that lid back on the tin with two hands is hard enough....need a double degree to master getting it back on with on hand....
It's ok milk – My first born like this milk but my second born didn't like the texture of the milk, did buy from Woolworths on sale hoping to save money but didn't work in our favor at all,if you shop around can get this milk for $10 a tin
Scare tactics going around is it true your product contains bad substance – Well today I've read that heinz nurture as well as 3 other brands it has a substance in it that can make baby's sick can you confirm this isn't true?? Because I'd hate to think that I'm feeding my 4 week old baby something that is making him sick.. I really hope it doesn't and the news article is just a scare tactic ..

Love this!!! – I Just love this formula!!! I have used it for my now 13yr old and 9yr old and 3yr old and my 5month old buba. However we are moving to oz in afew months a d i see that you dont sell it over there!, why is this? Show details
Fantastic – My bub transitioned to formula at 8 months and this is the first one I tried as it was the only one without palm oil in it. Bub loves it, drinks the whole bottle and falls asleep straight away, and has gone from waking up 5-6 times in a night to sleeping 8 hours straight. Easy to prepare and no side effects at a. Not happy it is discontinued as I am now having huge problems finding another one bub likes.
Easy to digest – I just love this, I tried other company formula but that cause constipation, now i switch to Heinz nature gold my baby Hasn't anymore constipation.highly recommended Heinz nature gold formula for your little one's it is really cheap and specially made in Australia.so I am giving 5 star for heinz thanks

disappointing thing is you can not purchase this formula from any supermarkets anymore you can only find this formula at chemists which is a little inconvenient.

First time formula – We recently started our little boy on this formula, he is 9 months old and this is the first time we tried a formula. He enjoys it and it is gentle on his stomach with no digesting issues. The price was great compared to some others. We will continue to use as his regular.
Great alternative to breastmilk – Simple to prepare formula, easy to identify on shop shelves when I'm in a rush to get in and out. At first our hubs was reluctant, but with persistence took to it beautifully. Aussie product and all nutritional info readily spelt out. Mixes well, would definitely use again and again.
This formula has been great for both my children but does I'm worried it contains microscopic nano-h – I have found this formula to be great as both my children took to it first go & seem to love it, it's easy to prepare & the ratio 50mls to 1 scoop is easy to remember but I'm worried it contains microscopic nano-hydroxyapatite particles. Is this true? & is it harmful to our children?
Kids love it, made in Australia – Our Kids loved this formula. We like that it is Australian owned and manufactured. It is super simple to prepare both at home or on the run. We found it really helped our littlies tummies and they were mich less windy on this formula than others. We also found their protein to be higher with a mix of vitamins we felt were beneficial.
Great gentle formula – I had this formula recommended by a health nurse. Turns out my very windy colicky baby was reacting badly to every "gold" formulation regardless of brand. No more problems after I started bub on Heinz. It is very gentle, and reasonably priced. I also like that it is Aussie made. Only negative is not many stores carry it. It can be difficult to… Read more
find, especially for someone outside of a big city. My local Big W doesn't carry it anymore so I am only able to find it at Chemist Warehouse.
Came across by accident. Good change. Good price – Came across this formula by accident. Bub seemed to keep it down better and it is cheaper than our previous brand (NAN Pro Gold) Powder is sometimes tricky to dissolve, so you need to make sure you give it a good hard shake. Only real negative is, not sold at Coles or Woolworths
Love it!! – For the most part this is a great formula. My son loves it and it doesn't affect his digestion or give him rashes like other formulas. It does however not dissolve into water as easily as Karicare. So I have to mix it halfway though scooping the formula in. But that's easily overlooked given how much my son enjoys it.
Great Formula – Heinz worked well for our baby. It was very easy to prepare and we didn't have any issues Needed a change when we were over seas and her usual formula ran out. No side effects from the formula and poos were still regular. But it is a bit frothy compared to her usual. But very affordable from Aldi
one year old chucked up after first try – I came from comfort number 3 which tastes way better. tastes like powered smelly milk. comfort is smaller scoop to 30ml but I prefer to do that to a bigger scoop. it's actually easier. she chucked up after first bottle. will b going back to Nestle comfort after it's finished.

Surprisingly very happy – I changed my 3 month old to this formula after him being on aptamil Gold and going through a phase of sicking it up constantly and refusing to drink it all of a sudden, he would gag every time I would offer it. So I read some reviews of this formula as I had tried many before sticking with aptamil and read some good things especially people's… Read more
comments about reflux babies not spitting out as much. So anyways I bought a tub one evening to see if he would take it, he really loves it, gulps it down so seems to really like the taste and literally doesn't sick it up either I get an occasional spit but hardly anything compared. He's not having explosive poos either and doesn't get half as much wind on this formula. So overall I'm very happy and it's a bonus it's half the price of the other formulas! i also found it doesn't have a very offensive smell too which is great!
No bad smell, best value – I didnt actually use the starter but used the follow on formula. It had no bad smell, no fish oil which i think is absolutely revolting in milk! Seriously who wants to drink milk with fish oil. i tried just about every other one before my little one took this one. She ended up having it till she was two as normal milk didnt agree with her [or… Read more
toddler milk]. The price was a bonus and it was easy to get anywhere, i highly recommend the follow on formula!
Finally a formula my daughter liked!!! – Tried so many formulas & finally this was the only one my daughter could stomach. I breastfeed for 6months & then went onto formula. My daughter had reflux & colic so hard to find something that she could have but once I tried Heinz Nuture original 2 she loved it & kept it down plus I tried all the formulas that I gave my daughter & this was the only one that tasted decent & didn't make me or my daughter gag!! I highly recommend this product.
After lots of testing this was the one – After 4 weeks I had to stop breastfeeding and tried SMA, S26 and Karricare and everything seem to constipated my baby. After reading lits of reviews I had yo decide between this one and Nan but gave this on a try as its cheaper as well. Certainly happy Baby happy Mum.
Transitioned to this and now Bub is happy – What can I say? Just writing this to let people know my bub was throwing up a lot on the Bellamys brand so I switched to this and its seems to be more settling for him. He's now a happy boy! Not sure what else I can comment on as its not like Bub tells me what it tastes like, although he loves to drink it!
Very happy – No side effects for my little Bub. Very happy with it. Easy prep with 1 scoop per 50ml water. Readily available and and very affordable. I've gone from Original 1 to Original 3 and all levels served us well. Moving on to cows milk was a bigger challenge than Heinz Nurture.
So happy – This is by far the best pricing one out there. And when you can find it. I guess it is popular because of its price. The big retailers do sell it, but their stock is never consistent. That would be the only down fall. I had a good bub and took it straight away from the transitioning from breast feeding to formula. Would recommend this to anyone. Nice smell too.
Cheap yet excellent choice – I compared different brands expensive and cheap before choosing this one. It has exactly the same ingredients as in expensive brands formulas and better: it contains more minerals like magnesium or calcium for example. I buy it in the pharmacy, it is made in Australia. Buying expensive brands is just pure marketing !
Good formula but frothy when mixed – We started our baby on another top brand formula, to top up while breastfeeding. Our baby slowly became more and more constipated as breastfeeding reduced. We switched to Heinz original and have never looked back. We picked this brand as it reviewed well. Also, it comes with a few added extras (such as omega 3 fatty acids) that other brands only… Read more
provide in gold formulas. The only negative is that it's quite frothy and it needs to be shaken well or you can get undisolved formula. I just simply swirl with the lid off to remove some bubbles. But the froth really isn't a problem for our bub.
Great product – I have used this for 3 out of my 4 children the fourth being breastfed. I found this kept my children regular with their bowels unlike the s26 which gave my kids constipation. Highly recommend this product as the price is very affordable and the babies love it. Unfortunately a lot of shops do not stock it so it is sometimes hard to get. April… Read more
20th 2017 Update:Brilliant product
I have had 4 babies and have used this formula on all. I started with a more expensive brand but they seemed to give my babies constipation once I changed to this they were as regular as the were when the were breast fed. To also add it was about $5-$6 cheaper a tin highly recommend
Always a good outcome – This formula is easy 50mL to 1scoop ratio. Both my babies agree with it VERY well and have had no problems with reflux or after vomit. No side affects at all not even an upset stomach, she burps easier and has no difficulty in settling got sleep. I would recommend Heinz Nurture step 1 to any new mum.
I grew up with heinz – I grew up with heinz and have no birth defects this is why i allow my children to also have heinz. You always hear on a current affair about birth defects from other brands. My children are healthy, happy, smart and very sophisticated. We believe this is due to great baby formula
Bad wind and poo – Gave this formula to my baby from birth, he was okay with it for a few days but started getting very bad wind by 2 weeks he was screaming in pain cause it gave him really bad wind. The formula is very frothy which i think caused the wind as there's a lot of air in the formula as its so frothy. It also gave him loose poo / stools. We have changed his formula and have seen a dramatic change his poo is back to normal and his wind is gone.
