It burns my scalp and I have a rash on my scalp
My scalp is burning like crazy and it's very red I cant even touch my scalp it hurts.

My favourite ever shampoo
This shampoo and conditioner keeps my hair free from product build up, the best ever. I was shocked to hear others report scalp problems. I am having trouble getting Drama Clean these days, but always on the lookout. Love it.

This is a review about Herbal Essences Shampoos (and P & G) generally. I was using a shampoo in the range and noticed that every time I used it my head would get itchy. Having noticed the pattern, I called customer care and they asked me to send them the code on the back of the shampoo. They then advised me that the code indicated that the shampoo had expired causing the itchiness. I asked the customer care agent why an expiry date was not specified on the product given the potential side effects of using an expired product and the response wa
... Read mores that P & G are under no legal obligation to specify an expiry date where the life of the product is 3 years. They advised me to throw out multiple P & G shampoos with codes indicating that they had expired.

Burning and scalp is sore
I used for a week and noticed my scalp was red irritated and burning. I thought maybe I didn’t get it all out so I waited a couple of days and used it again and well same issue. I had the worse scalp pain never agai.

My absolutely favorite product by Herbal Essence is Rose Tips. It leaves my hair so beautiful and smells amazing!! I ran out and sent my husband to the store for more.....he came back with this product. It smelled pretty good kinda like apples, I guess haha Anyway first time using it. Omg!!!! No where on the label does it describe the sensation you experience with this conditioner! At first felt okay mild tingling with cool sensation BUT then it started burning and I literally felt like my head was on fire!!! My neck especially like it was burn

Okay first i love the herbal essences conditioner range, the 400ml is a treat to my hair. This made me try the shampoo, However I was actually shocked to have felt a stinging sensation in my scalp :(

Its sad to say that I will stop using Herbal Essence after 23 years. If they want to replace their ingredients just to save money then I know they don't care. Imagine using this on your child and thinking they were just over-reacting. How bad would you feel exposing them to this burning pain.

Well... it burns your scalp!
Using this shampoo and the conditioner burned my scalp. It was very uncomfortable and took quite a while to wash out before I could get out of the shower. I will be ringing the consumer line on the back of the bottle with this Taiwanese product as it is absolutely rubbish. Should have read the other reviews of people that have had the same issue. I didn't keep a receipt as it is a very cheap product and not expected to hurt!

Burns your scalp!
I have never had an issue with any other brand of shampoo or conditioner burning. I didn’t have any issues when using the herbal essence shampoo’s many years ago, however whatever has been put into this conditioner formula is awful- Please stay away from the product!! It instantly burns and feels like your scalp is on fire. Rinsing it out doesn’t help and you are left with a burning scalp after showering! This should not be on the shelves. I just hope that it doesn’t affect my hair...

Herbal Essences clarifying refresh 'drama clea
Herbal Essences clarifying refresh 'drama clean' shampoo has lead to my hair falling out ... dramatically! I am glad that I came across this review site as each contributor has described the very unpleasant experiences which I myself also had; the tingling feeling of the scalp and hair falling out continuously. My hair brush is full of hair each time I brush and there is hair all over the place. So, what does it take for Procter and Gamble to take action and remove this product from the shelves??? To all those consumers out there do not use this product. My bottle has ended up in the bin.

Burning scalp ;(
Wish i could give it 0 stars but it won't let me, so i have to give it one. Used this for the first time today, left it on for a bit as I do with all conditioners, to give it time to work. 5 minutes later I feel like my scalp is burning. The ingredients have a lot of alcohol products, and tea tree oil, which must be undiluted for it to burn this much. I tried rinsing my scalp but the burning persisted. Procter and Gamble will be hearing a complaint about this stuff...

After reading these reviews im glad it wasnt just my daughter and my self we have used herdal essences for years we both suffered with burning heads sore itching eyes to the point of blisters 4 days on and still suffering and the smell is discusting this is the worst product you have ever put out on the market .
I brought this one thinking it might be a nice change it says.
Drama clean and refreshing ,purifying clean refreshing fragrance !!! Have you personally tried thiis product . Bring home a bit of paradise .
Well its none of these things at all .
