New House - Not recommend – 1. After 2/3 weeks of handover the house, some cracks and gap created along the door frame and skirting board and they said it’s normal. initial price, they again charged me about $13000 extra (P class soil -$7000, levelling -$3200– although my plot was not more than 300mm slope, Survey -$2600). 4. After handover the house we noticed that the gas heating was not working. We contacted with them and someone had to come three times to fix the issue still I am not satisfied with the heating system as after turning off automatically; it’s turning ON after long time. 5. There is an unusual noise (when turning ON the hot water) inside the hot water system. Someone came and said that its normal noise which is very annoying for us. 6. They didn’t clean the house properly (sand, dust, paint). Even there was paint on the window glass and frame. Thoroughly we had to clean the house including glass, frame and so on. 7. They didn’t provide any lights at our backyard wall. When we open our backdoor during evening, its too dark. They said that we had to pay extra for this. 8. They have provided very cheap internal door (Honeycomb type door. 9. They also provided very cheap flyscreen in windows and front and back door. They should provide aluminium fly screen at least all the external door. 10. They provided only 8mm thick laminated timber in floor whereas you can see some of the builder provide 12mm thick laminated timber. 11. They didn’t seal the kitchen sink properly, we have noticed that there is a gap between stone and sink and hence water is going through that gap. Their sink is also normal and visible sink. You should choose the builder who provide underneath kitchen sink. 12. They also don’t provide branded appliances (Waven, dish wash, and even heating system). They have given us ARTUSI and BONAIRE brand. 13. They don’t provide waterproof paint in ENS, toilet and shower area. Later the paint might be removed due to vapour from shower area. 14. They didn’t keep stormwater provision around the house. They said that its not required. However, due to this, rainwater may enter underneath the slab during heavy rain. 15. As per their email, they provided only 20 MPa strength concrete in our driveway. You should choose the builder who provide at least 25 MPa strength concrete in driveway. 16. They used very cheap and low quality white board to make Pantry and other Cabinet. 17. Their variation price is very high. For example, we have a cabinet system bin and they charged $650 from us. Whereas you can do this type of bin by other people with very less price. 18. Their Toilet pan is bit smaller. If you are a big man, there might be problem when you will sit on the toilet pan. 19. There is a leakage in one of my toilet flash and hence water is dipping on the toilet floor from toilet flash. 20. If you go with then you will see that their security lock, handle’s quality. I have seen some of my friend’s house that their door handle, security locks are very beautiful and good quality. 21. They also provide aluminium door frame (Front main door) rather than wooden door frame. If you are fan with wooded door frame, you shouldn’t choose this door frame. 22. They had an offer that they will provide colorbond roof but they didn’t provide to me and said my one is custom house, so I am not eligible to get the colorbond roof. 23. My one of the friend used other builder (Big builder) and they finished within 5 months even during the COVID lockdown period.

Note: May be they will fix some of the issues when they will come (after 6 months from handover) but this is their overall works quality.
