Very positive and enjoyable building project.
NSW, MiradorWe are very happy with our experience with the team at Hotondo Mirador and have just recently taken possession of our new house. The build started efficiently and finished on the exact date of completion in the contract. Not being located close by, we were provided with photos and updates regularly. Workmanship has been of a very high standard and the site was kept very clean and tidy. The project was completed right on budget, with no nasty surprises. We have no hesitation in recommending Hotondo Mirador and congratulate them on a successful project.

Building with hotondo homes
QLD, Browns PlainsBuilding with hotondo homes logan, signing up and meeting the team was exciting for my wife young daughter and I being our first home and new to Building we thought yay this is going to be awesome. The plans went along some what smoothly and emails flowed nicely, after our 1st payment things started changing slightly wife emails in regards to some changes that she wanted no response. It took sometime for the plans to be signed off by this stage we noted that the changes were not going to happen and the delays so far were disappointing. Unf
... Read moreortunately it didn't get better unanswered emails and if they were it was because they were wanting something, unanswered phone calls and messages with no response. Delays along delays throughout the build the BIGGEST being the POWER connection failed attempt after failed attempts, air-conditioning ran to the wrong side of the house that was emailed to them about but no reply at this stage gyprock had not been installed so at that stage would have been a easy fix but no. The state our site NEW HOME looked was disgusting there was never a skip bin or section off area for the rubbish and was just dumped in a pile across the back of the property very disheartened as it looked terrible and we didn't want to show our family any photos of our what should have been exciting build. Attached are photos that can be seen from road and car park. Lock up stage inspection found some issues 1 still being the aircon I brought to the supervisor's attention this is were he said just let me pull up the plans, that will have to be fixed so the walls need to be patched and new lines run to the other side of house with this being said now the pipe work has to run down the wall external with a plastic cover not overly impressed as we sent email that never got answered and could have easily stopped this. We booked a walk through with the supervisor to see how things were coming along we arrived and [Name Removed] was not there we rang and to our surprise he had forgotten 1hr latter he arrived. When we finally started the walk through we noticed that a manhood had been draw on the inside of our house on the dinning room wall we were disappointed and discussed at this as our 10yr old daughter was with us. We also brought to [Name Removed]'s attention the kitchen cabinets were wrong. Moving forward our lease in our current house was coming up to be resigned we emailed asking would our house be finished before our lease was up we were told yes, unfortunately this was not the case our power STILL has not been connected at this time after many failed attempts because it had been deemed in a unsuitable position they decided to move it. Our lease is now up and we had to move and put house belongings into storage UNFORTUNATELY we never got a follow up email or phone call apologising for the STRESS that this has now caused or any sort of compensation. We all had to separate and live with friends and family. This has been one of our worst experiences and has put us off thinking of building another like we had planned, definitely not a exciting experience nor enjoyed.

Approachable, easy to work with, high quality builder
NSW, CampbelltownWe recently finished building a house with Hotondo Homes – Campbelltown for a new home build in Gymea Bay.
From first quoting the build all the way through to final completion and occupational certificate we spoke directly to Justin. He oversaw the entire project and dealt with all issues both small and large in a timely and efficient manner. He made sure no query went unanswered and was polite and courteous in all communication.
The build quality of the home was to a high standard throughout. No shortcuts were taken and we were thoroughly satisfied with the result.
I highly recommend Justin and the team at Hotondo Homes – Campbelltown and will hopefully use them again in the future.

Hotondo Homes Bendigo - New Home Build
VIC, BendigoWe recently had a home built in Bendigo by Hotondo Homes.
It was a pleasure to deal with them and right from the initial discussion to the final handover there were absolutely no issues. Minor changes were handled in a fair and pleasant manner.
The home was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule and during the final inspection we were unable to find anything that needed further attention.
Both Jenny Cushing on the Sales and Concept side and Kyle Patten on Project Management were a pleasure to deal with.
I have no hesitation in recommending Hotondo Bendigo to any prospective buyer.

Contractual costs were clearly outlined from the onset and did not change unless we adjusted them to include a last minute upgrade. That in its self is a feat as it was done through Covid. Any issues were resolved as soon as they occurred and we were kept informed every step of the build. Communications were effective outling what was happening and when the next step would commence. QLD, MackayThe team at Hotondo Mackay are amazing. The entire build process was so smooth and they dealt with our thousands of questions without any hassle or drama. We chose the Kirkby 259 layout which is perfect for our growing family.
The picking of colours was so easy and the budget was kept to. The build site was always kept very tidy during construction as well and they also accommodated to our site visits. The house is beautiful inside and out, without any faults. We are extremely happy with the results of the building process. We are so thankful that we were able to build with Hotondo Mackay.

We've done two duplex builds with Hotondo both commencing just before Covid hit. I could not have asked for a better builder to work with through extremely challenging times. The team at Hotondo did everything they could to ensure my two builds were completed and delivered with the highest standard. During a time of rising costs, labour and material shortages along with inclement weather, the team at Hotondo powered on. Sorry Michael I cannot help, unfortunately sounds to me that your Hotondo Franchise is not as reliable as the Hotondo South Coast/Nowra owners of the franchise they would have it fixed in no time and most likely wouldn’t allow the fence to be damaged in the first place.
Don’t give in keep at them and hopefully you have a win.
