11 days and still waiting for someone to collect our bin….. communication via phone & emails is hopeless. They continue to say we don’t know

annoying. I had to locate and call the contractor myself to get the bin removed. Do not go with this 'middle man' and save yourself the hassle. No apology received. No contact received. Very bad customer service.
Steer clear! I booked a skip in advance through this company on a Wednesday for Friday drop off. They take your money on booking ($516 for a 4m3 skip). Expensive but hey I needed the skip for Friday as had that day off + weekend to clear up my yard before returning to work. arrive. Get through to someone who says it's being managed by someone else and would I like to be transferred. Yes, I said. (Obviously). Wait a while and lady returns to say no one is answering but they will have them call me back within about 5 minutes. By 4pm still no call or skip so I try calling again - this time I only get voicemail so I leave a message. Then I also email following up my skip.
Wake Saturday to a Friday evening email saying sorry we haven't been able to secure a provider for your skip yet but have one more we are waiting to hear back from. Sorry for the incovenience. I wait half of Saturday before trying to call again - 3 attempts to both numbers provided, no answer. So, I write another email requesting an update and solution - give me a different skip size or two smaller ones or refund my money and compensate me for the stuff around. Radio silence all day Saturday.
That evening, I manage to book a skip locally (via Word of mouth referral) not until a few days later which is super frustrating but at least they communciated back and forth and were up front about availability. This new company skip (same size) only costs $280 cash and they also don't ask for your money until it's delivered.
I did get an email Sunday from Hire.Skip.com.au saying my money would be refunded in a few busienss days and the skip had been cancelled. There was a cut and paste apology included but no compensation.
This is despicable servcie. POOR COMMUNICATION, impossible to reach them in a timely manner CHARGING FOR A SERVICE BEFORE IT'S CONFIRMED should not be legal. APOLOGY was half hearted and compensation should have been provided - even if it was by way of a voucher.

customer support. This caused major inconvenience and shows a total lack of professionalism. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and using a more reliable skip bin service.
Worst company i have ever dealt with. Do not use. Skip did not show up, then cancelled order and promised refund. It has been over a month now and I'm still waiting. Use these guys at your peril.
Would give 0 if I could, I have never come across a company with such horrible communication, they don't answer their phone, pretty sure they blocked my number and they don't reply to my emails And when they do reply its like they haven't read what I wrote or what they originally wrote as they contradict each other I still don't know when my bin will be getting collected because they won't tell me, they just lie and lie and lie
I ordered through this company for a clients house i have been working on. I have been waiting 19 days for a skip bin to be picked up after collection date and still counting!! Contacted 3 times to have bin removed. My client is refusing to pay until its picked up.
Fast and reliable! Good customer service. Highly recommend. Would definitely use again.
If I could go with zero stars, I would! I hired a bin a week ago for delivery the following week. I received an email confirmation for the dates requested. advising the call could not be taken right now. I emailed and left messages and still no response. In the meantime I have contractors waiting to commence the demolition work and cannot proceed as there is no where to leave the debri. Of course this means I have other trades who are also unable to commence their work too. A major inconvenience all round. I will never suggest this company to anyone or book them again myself. Total lack of communication and absolutely zero empathy for their customers.
