Our fridge stopped working after 2 yrs... still under warranty... they sent technitian out who said he had fixed it. We notified them it was not cold enough. They did not assist further. Now a few months later it has stopped again. They say they will only send a technician ( we said we want replacement as they already tried to fix it unsuccessfully) we suspect they are hoping to wait out our warranty as they still have not had a technician contact us even though she said she would mark it urgent. Will not buy another hisense again.

Don't bother buying this fridge – Wouldn't recommend this fridge/freezer. Bought it new and within a month the fridge globe blew and the door seals weren't sealing properly. Phoned customer service. Their after service leaves a lot to be desired. They sent out two globes and two seals...one for the fridge and one for the freezer. I had to phone again to get a link as to how to change the globes. Too bad if you have no idea how to change things because they aren't interested in sending anyone out to your home. The new fridge seal was worse than the original. I ended up putting the original seal back on, upside down and that has solved the problem ...for now. Freezer is frost free but I'm constantly wiping out ice. Shouldn't have these issues with a new fridge. Won't be buying Hisense again.
No warranty - Hisense HRTF496SW Top Mount refrigerator – Purchased March 2023. My six month old refrigerator's LED lights for refrigerator and freezer sections went out and the flap on fresh zone fell off. Refrigerator light and flap repaired but repairman identified ice and frost build up in freezer and ordered a new board. Hisense called and offered a new replacement refrigerator but 3 days later called again to advise that this refrigerator is discontinued and no spare parts are available even though all major retailers are still offering this refrigerator model for delivery in January 2024. They offered a store credit but prices have risen by about $250 and other brands are several hundred dollars more for same capacity and features. The 3 year warranty, with currently 2 years and 2 months remaining, is effectively void as no spare parts are available. This would seem to leave hundreds of customers without a repair or replacement warranty!!

Not frost free, crisper does not keep vegetables crisp – Quite a nice looking fridge, shelves are nice, I like the water cooling tank for having cold water on tap. I like the dairy cooler inside. However, don't expect the freezer to be frost free, there are even ice crystals inside my tupperware containers and on my frozen packages. Don't expect the crisper to work either. Vegies go soft within a couple of days (carrots, that should last for ages in the crisper). The doors often remain ajar even when you think you've shut them and start beeping, perhaps this contributes to the frost, but if so it's pretty bad. I don't recommend it.
