Very weak computer – We bought this new, YouTube app didn't work from day 1. All videos uploaded on YouTube stop after 2mins... I factory reset TV many times to fix problem, lasts about 2 days then back to freezing. The other apps sometimes don't load and the TV crashes. I have an older Samsung upstairs and it works flawlessly without all these mentioned problems. … Read more

They're cheap computers in these TV'S. Tried to get Hisence to replace, but they said these problems are not covered.... its funny, I had an older Hisence that worked perfectly. Maybe i just got a bad Apple? Anyway, would not recommend without reading fine print on warranty.

Disappointed – Bought in 2017 and its been a great addition to the home and the biggest TV i've owned but after 5 years its stopped working. Even more frustrating is it barley gets used in my theatre room as a secondary TV. Very Disappointed! Show details

Fantastic Television. A smart tv that's totally functional & easy to use – We purchased our Hisense TV about one year ago to replace our old Samsung Smart TV when it died. I loved my Samsung TV, and I was dubious about my husband's choice of this Hisense brand, but he researched it intensively and convinced me it would be great. He was right. I don't miss my Samsung at all. The Hisense picture quality is… Read more

fantastic, setup was a breeze, and we just love the ease of connectivity - we can stream from our phones, tablet and computer straight to the tv, and it makes it so very easy to connect with Netflix - Even my 4 year old can use the remote successfully.

I haven't had much need to use the cable connections at rear, so I cannot comment on it's capabilities in that sense, but thus far we aren't missing anything. It has enough HDMI connections for the kids to plug in their games consoles, and for the moment that's all we need.

One thing I would love to be able to do, though, is to edit the channel list to remove channels we don't use, and sort them into an order that makes sense for our family.

I'd also point out that loading the EPC channel list has to be done manually by clicking each channel one by one - a bit of a labour intensive task. If anyone has any tips for making these tasks possible/easier then please let me know.

These are, honestly, the only faults I have found with it thus far. It's a great, easy to use, functional TV.

Not Good For Night Viewing – This is a good tv for day light or all lights on viewing as it has very bad black uniformity issues when viewed in low light or dark rooms. It does not matter which input you are watching but the higher the resolution the more noticeable it is. We are using it with a Panasonic DMP-UB900 4K Player and the HDR does work. This tv would not suit… Read more

someone who is watching a plasma, crt, or oled tv; (this is our first LCD/LED TV) as the black/grey blotchy dark scenes and flash light effect will annoy you to death. You cannot fix this problem and it does not get better with time, so do not believe salesmen as they are salesmen. We had two of these TV's and both had the same issue; it maybe a design weakness of being a edge lit tv at 75 inchs. Other than this issue the tv is great for all lights on viewing and would work well in a shopping mall, work place office or tv store. Apps are great and the remote is very basic and simple with easy read large buttons; we love it and every hi fi manufacturer needs to try this remote as it is so simple to use with large buttons and not a 100+ tiny button remote that every manufacturer thinks you need. We hope they keep using it forever and the only way to improve it is to back light it. Hisense are a great company to deal with and have great on call service/staff, they gave us our money back after months of trying to resolve our issue with service Techs. We would recommend Hisense as their service is great.

Exceptional picture quality – I did a lot of research before I purchased this TV. I considered more expensive brands/models, but nearly every review I read concluded that the Hisense Series 7's picture quality was outstanding, and a fraction of the cost you'd pay for other leading brands with similar features. I spent over $3000 on my previous Sony, so this was a bargain at… Read more ·  1

$850. I note it has now been discontinued, and replaced with the N7. Firstly the few negatives, slow to start up. Opera, rather than android operating system (android boxes are cheap so not an issue for me), and I was unable to pair it with my Harmony (universal remote). For me that was probably the biggest annoyance. The positives far outweigh the negatives though. 4K ultra HD resolution, outstanding picture quality, great colour reproduction. Audio is reasonable, but adding a low cost soundbar would be worth it. Netflix and YouTube dedicated remote buttons are a nice touch as well. Overall I'm really happy with it.

Get One! – Just bought this on special for $895. We he had Hisense TVs in the past and they have been great. Bit sceptical before I bought at such a cheap price but am amazed at the quality of the picture l. Comes with Netflix, Kayo and Foxtel and Stan. My advice, just get one!

Shitest TV I’ve ever had in my life – No way to add apps, it’s more like a dumb tv. I wish I could take it back. No way of adding local catchup tv apps in Australia- regret buying this and now after a couple of years it has a row of dead pixels! Show details

Not smart – The TV is actually pretty good - picture is superb, as is the sound. My problem has been adding apps - the only way to add them is via a built-in app called Vewd. But it doesn't have any Australian apps, so it you want apps for Seven, Nine or Ten, you'll have to add a media player that will support them. That's what Hisense support told me.… Read more

Defeats the purpose of paying extra for a smart TV. I also have a Samsung smart TV, and adding apps to that is easy. I hope this issue has been addressed in later models, but I won't be finding out.

Disappointed no updates – We bought the 65M 7000 UWG in March 2017. Have been pretty happy with it. But disappointed to see there has been no firmware update since, and this tv has now been replaced and we get no other updates. It’s become a dinosaur. Hisense needs to release updates for models that have been replaced as well. Show details ·  1

Best value tv – Have been happy with this purchase. Great tv, 3 year warranty, as opposed to 12 months on other brands gives peace of mind. Have bought other hisense products since buying this tv. Great Picture and awsome value for money – Can't fault the picture, it looks awesome. The menus are a little slow but are fixed in the latest N7 model. There has only ever been one firmware update which is a little disappointing as the euro version received several. have recommended to many and all have been happy with it. 3 years warranty so can't go wrong.  Show details

Really good TV for the price paid – This TV is a really well performing 4K TV with extremely nice colours and black when set up properly. The interface can be a bit slow at times being a smart TV with all the extra stuff that nobody really wants, but I can't complain about the Netflix and Youtube buttons on the remote for the quick easy access to both apps. Definitely very happy with my purchase of this TV.  Show details

Very good TV for the money – Picture quality is amazing with some colour adjustment as the default factory settings leave much to be desired. Inbuilt speakers seem adequate, and there are plenty of inputs. It comes from the factory with a kodi OS with youtube and netflix installed. This OS doesn't seem to have a huge app store which limits casting/streaming to the TV. For the price, this TV is amazing. Purchased for only $2200.  Show details

Best bang for buck TV range in Australia – We replaced an aging LG LCD with this tv. After researching the available replacement from LG and similar sets from the premium brands, I took a usb drive with a few downloaded 4k clips to JB Hifi. only downside at all is the viewing angle. If I stand at about 45 degrees to the screen the colour washes out a bit. For 99% of the time, we are in front of it so its not really an big issue.

Netflix and youtube apps work well. Ditto iview. Speakers surprisingly good. I have since switched off the aging LG home theater in a box system I had hooked up as the sound is better from the TV itself.

Interface is clean and slick.

Quality TV! – This is a great TV! I wasn't really expecting this to be as good with movies due to blacks not being as good (last TV was a plasma) but was actually very surprised, this is quite good. frustrates me is when changing channels it is a little bit slow to register and I find myself pressing the up/down button again and going past the desired channel, just takes a little getting use to. Incredible screen, incredible price – I have owned this TV since January 2017 and it hasn't skipped a beat. The picture quality is unbelievable considering the price.
