why does it stop spinning after the first frothing? is the mechanism temperature controlled?
Yes it is temperature controlled. If making multiple drinks, wash between each use as the residual froth will cook to the inner cylinder surface, this will cool the frother and you can use it immediately. Read the manual too.
Can you please let me know if there is a way to get the milk a bit warmer?
If it's not hot enough I press the button again - works for me!
It will only heat to 70 degrees Boiling temperature is not compatible with coffee. If you use granules or powdered coffee and want a hotter drink add hot water to the cup and dissolve the coffee before adding the milk. If you haven't read the manual I suggest you do. I fill the milk to the middle line and find it too hot to drink.
