Loved it until it stalled and stalled again – I bought 50 year edition of Honda civic in 2019 Dec. After an horrible buying experience at ALTO Honda Blacktown I was hoping that my woes are finished. Not even 1.5 years in, Honda calls back the car because its not fit for driving and fault can result into a mishap. All this time while I was driving Honda civic, I was putting my and my family's… Read more

life on risk. Honda Rydalmere then performs the desired service after 10 days. allegedly replacing the faulty component. 4 months later I am driving to work in morning , my car slows down from 80 to 30 kmh . I somehow manage to drive it to a safe parking spot. I contact Honda rydalmere. They again have no slots for available for repair. the latest day available is after 10 days. I ask for a courtesy car which I am refused very rudely.

After 10 day Honda rydalmere repairs my car and performs a service as well. The very next day the car stalls again in an 80 kmph speed zone putting me in risk ,only after driving less than 3 kilometres. Honda rydalmere sent me home a faulty car. I paid 300 dollars for nothing. I again try to book in a date for repair but the nearest date was 7 days later. I get my car towed to Honda Castle Hill. They tell me on 7th day that same component is faulty for which Car was called back 4 months ago. They ask me to pay 1400 dollars more to get it rectified. The car has 5 years warranty. I try to discuss this with Honda castle hill team but rather than understanding my problem and my frustration , the dealer tells me that he can pack my car up and I can take it home like that, I am without my car for past 1 month now, I am shelling out money on uber and I have no vehicle in emergencies. My only fault is that I trusted Honda.

I am afraid Honda dealership will give me faulty car again. I am afraid they will keep telling me to shell out money by making excuses leaving something faulty everytime. I am afraid I will end up in a mishap because Honda civic breaksdown in the middle of the road and the Honda service can not rectify the fault. I am disappointed , I will never buy honda again. I will never recommend this brand to any one.

Perfect for Our Needs Still ! – Bought the RS in 2019 and still enjoying every drive. Large for a small car more small medium but still small enough to manoeuvre around town but like the extra space when on trips. Im a driving enthusiast i have SS Commodore and the Civic turbo is a surprise it's only a 1.5 litre but pulls strong good on fuel and handles quit good. Interior is pleasant and styling is ok great safety package as well. Show details

Will never buy another Honda - the warranty is not worth the paper its written on – Faulty air conditioning not fixed after multiple returns over a course of years. They just regas functioning only a few days. Service staff treat customers with contempt when the item is warranty related. Left me at my wits end with no choice but to fix externally - they admitted they don't know how to fix it and offered no alternative. They will… Read more

not reimburse or acknowledge the well known air conditioning fault with this model. Honda Australia have the audacity of stating 'had we been aware of the problem' they would have actioned. This is my 4th new Honda.

Great car.. has every mod con – 9000 kms in 3 months and the car goes like a dream... only one negative thing is it has loud direct injectors, drives me batty but apparently I’m the only one that notices them...the interior is gorgeous and the boot is huge.. it’s the biggest small car I’ve driven ... recommend this model to everyone looking for luxury on a shoestring budget  Show details

Good Value for Money and great looking car – Overall a pretty good car, never had any issue with it so far. The only 2 things I found is the noise depending on the road surface, and the safety features which don't seem to be as good as some of the competition. Apart from that great looking car and I would buy one again if I had the choice.  Show details

Excellent Service – Also Honda Blacktown Service Department gave us an excellent service for our Civic RS for 10,000 km and 20,000 km Service. Compare to Lander Toyota Service I have received for my Toyota Camry Hybrid Luxury Car, this is absolute magic. Lander Toyota should learn from Alto Honda Blacktown as how to treat customers. What a difference. Thanks Honda SC Dude  Show details

A decently good looking vehicle? – Chose to be a second owner of a Honda Civic RS 2017 (11,000 KM with 4 years of warranty left) which saved me more than $10,000. The car looks and smells like new. I really love the design both inside/outside, also love the efficiency 6L/100km daily. But to be honest, there is nothing else that i love about this car. Average noise on the road.… Read more

Decent quality 450W audio quality.

Get the job done with a laggy touch screen.

"I can see things " in reverse and side camera.

Start feeling some pain in the back after 3 hours of driving ( I'm 24 )

Hate the loud sound coming from the trunk even there is only 1 water bottle. Made me and my partner though we forgot a full luggage at the back.

I would rather buying an older luxury sedan like Honda Accord Euro/ Camry/Lexus IS/BMW 300i.

18 months old, elecrics/electronics unreliable – The Honda Civic looks and drives great however, we have had many problems with the charging system (flat battery) and minor electronic problems. The Honda agent is unable to fix the problems permanently. We have been a keen Honda family for the last 18 years having owned various models from Jazz to Accord luxury Euro.  Show details

I Absolutly Love This Car – After 13 year of owing from new a Honda Accord Euro that never gave me any issues it wasn't a hard choice to make picking the Honda Civic RS. I must admit that stepping down in KW from the Euro to the Civic was a slight concern, that was until I drove the Civic RS. The turbo help out with this and I don't even notice the fact it has less KW. One… Read more

thing I do notice though is the amazing fuel economy that I'm able to achieve with this car. Since purchasing it in March last year my average fuel economy is 4.9l per 100km. The best I've ever achieved was 4.4l per 100 on one tank of fuel, that was using Caltex 98, but I mostly use Caltex 95.

I love the way the car handles and how easy it is to drive, it has a super smooth ride and just glides around corners. I also enjoy using the paddle shift gears to shift down when I need to slow down going down a hill or I see traffic ahead slowing down, meaning I don't need to use my breaks as much. The sound system is amazing too, perfect balance on base and mid range. The 10 speakers make a huge difference, they have a very crisp sound, I love my music and this sound system does it justice.

The boot in this car is great for the size car, I was able to fit 6 x 2m long sleepers in with the back seats down.

I would definitly recomend this car to anyone that is looking at it, I don't have a bad word to say about it. I'm sure you wont too!

5 months later, I’m still in love – I got a great price on my brand new Honda Civic RS. It took me six months to choose a car, but I just couldn’t shake off the slick black RS. But the price was just out of my range. So I settled for the VTEC. My dealer called me and said they won’t be shipping the vtec for two months but they had the rs in stock within the next few weeks. Clearly… Read more

it was fate! I love and adore it more than my children sometimes hahaha. Can’t go wrong with a car you love! And so cheap to run. Costs me $50 a month in fuel.
