Length of Claim and no response

Made a claim for damage due to leaks in June 2023, claim eventually approved in late 2023. Paid the excess and yet still waiting for repairs, constantly being passed from their repairer and back to them with no resolution! Show details

Don'y was your money and Time

after two months the claim hasn't been processed despite follow ups.

Still waiting for my claim to be processed

I submitted a flooding claim on 5 January 2024, complained to them on 22 January 2024 that I received no communication whatsoever and the two business day turn-around was not at all adhered to, and now today I filed a formal complaint to AFCA and will be seriously looking elsewhere.

Just bad service all around, if they cannot get back to you when you had to make a legitimate claim what is the point of using this company? Show details

still going strong

Worst customer service ever

I have submitted a claim and sent many many E-mails, tried calling sat listening to music for countless hours no one ever returns calls or E-mails.
Once one by the name off [Name Removed] called me asked me to send my quote to her and that she will call me back and has not called me back to date, I have never missed a payment I've always paid on time, they take your money but when you need them they're not there for there clients, very upset and stressed out by it all.

Avoid

Raised my premium didn't tell me , got cheaper quote from another provider they wouldn't match it. I asked to cancel and explicitly said don't charge my account again the following month they charged me. Show details

Easy claims process

Contacted call centre to enquire about claiming for food spoilage after fridge died. Agent even went into looking at if we could make any claims for fridge itself. Process was quick and easy. Tammy couldn't have been more helpful. Very happy. Show details

Will use any execuse to refuse claims

Tried claiming TV that was specifically mentioned in my content insurance and got refused.
Then tried claiming a fence that was blown by high winds, took three months and numerous phone calls to respond, finally knocked back my claim saying the fence was old and fell due to erosion!
Their Nution system is horrible, takes ages to sync/setup, and keeps giving false alarms all the time. Show details

10X quote price of any other company

online quote and phones and had house insurance 10-15K when most others 1700-2500 must be something wrong with quote system , even phoned up incase i made as mistake but nope person on phone had same issue and didnt know .. useless waste of time Show details

Good for one year only

First year premium was competitive. No claims but the renewal notice increased a massive 44.9%. Obviously my friend is not renewing with them. Show details

Are the sensors compulsory to have in your home in order to get insured by your Company?
Would a refusal of the sensors disqualify a member who desires to be insured by your Insurance Company?

Sensors aren’t compulsory, you do get 8% off your monthly insurance cost if you have them set up though
