machine along with smoke. I was lucky to get my washing out and the smell was just horrendous in the drum and the clothes stunk like an electrical burning smell. We were lucky to shut the machine off when we did, we could have lost everything tonight.

Good enough – This machine was on sale so I chose it. I use the delicate setting because otherwise i feel my clothes dont get enough water. Its not overly noisy but it is bit high pitched when it spins. It feels bit flimsy (plastic buttons) but for the price i think its doing well after many months.  Show details

Clean my clothes – I purchased a Hoover 7kg front loader washer in August last year. It works well and has not had a problem. All cycles are excellent. Can't fault this machine to more expensive ones I have had in the past. The sales person was great at The Good Guys Harvey Bay. I also got the matching dryer and its a blast as well.  Show details

Hoover front loader – This machine does wash and rins great and I like how compact it is. It doesnt wear-out my clothes and has many cycle options to choose. It is a bit noisy, especially at the end which i wasnt expecting. I like how you can change the temp and spin settings.  Show details

Hoover Parts hard to find – Our Hoover front loader is just 2.5 years old so far has been ok. However it just failed.!! Error code E16 which seems to be heater element(google). UK!!!!! via Ebay, not that dear $42.00 incl freight and GST. Does not inspire for the future!!!! One would think long and hard about any Hoover appliance in the future.

Worst washing machine ever! Poor design on seal and door – The rubber seal doesn't seal properly and it allows water through which goes all over the floor. Worse, if you leave something in your pocket it goes in there and causes major damage that they won't fix because you left something in your pocket. with screws, keys, money and other things being left in pockets and the seal never leaked. It would likely still be going strong, but it got dropped in a removal. We had problems within 2 weeks with this one. The door doesn't close at all sometimes and you have to pull the door apart to fix the closing mechanism because the pin drops through. It now has blue tack stopping it from falling which is still working. It's noisy and high maintenance. I will NEVER buy another Hoover or recommend one to anyone. If i could rate it a ZERO i would.

Perfect - Never Misses a Beat – I have always used this washing machine on the quick cycle, then spin and drain. Never had one issue with it. Clothes come out smelling good, the cycle washes fast and the clothes come out well spun. Never had a issue and cant fault at all. Highly recommended to others for the price Show details

A decent washing machine – We got this machine on sale to replace our old top loader machine. We were happy with it for the first few washes and then the door wouldn’t close properly so a techician had to come and fit a few part in the door. Thankfully The Good Guys/Hoover got someone out pretty fast to fix it. The machine can be quite noisy and shake a bit, but it does the job of cleaning our clothes.  Show details

It's had it! – This machine was purchased brand new. It made a terribly loud sound almost like a lawn mower. Rang Good Guys (shop I purchased it from) they sent out an appliance fixer, he checked it out and said "It's had it!". He said that it will be replaced. To be continued.....  Show details

Brilliant Budget Basic – Basic machine by today's standards but has everything you would need including a delay to starting the washing. wait what seems like ages to open the door, but they all do that these days. I did have a problem with a sticking button on the first wash I did but the repairer came the next day and all was good. Overall, the price was good. Options for use are good. The 7kg front load drum is big enough for a family of 4 and the choice of spin speeds works well with the seasons. It's also a good size externally and fits well into a normal sized laundry.

Unreliable crap – Purchased new and not even 1 day after purchasing it started leaking water from 2 different areas. The store I purchased it from were great and delivered a second unit the same day, 1 month later now and I can't use it, error 3, spoke to Hoover customer service if that's what you call it, no parts in stock, and don't know when they will get them… Read more

"if they turn up", they can't even tell me when they can fix it and it's already been a week, not much longer and they can have it back and I will want a full refund.

easy to use – I love my Hoover front loader washing machine its so easy to use my husband and kids use it. Its my first front loader and I would not go back to a top loader again as I think the front is easier to get clothes to and from it and the clothes wash really well in it.  Show details

He tinkered a bit and the machine worked so he left. THE MACHINE WORKED FOR A DAY!! Over a week later still waiting - now for different parts which are on back order!!! Repairer came out and assessed and said it should be replaced but Hoover said no. They will not and suggested we borrow one til ours is fixed. Totally pathetic!!!

Good value for money washing machine – This is a good value for money washing machine. It washes clothes well and It has good water and detergent use efficiency. Overall if you don't mind long wash cycles and loud noise this is a very good washing machine.

Average and noisy – Very loud and vibrates a lot. Would recommend purple to take a look at other washing machines on the market. Works a treat! – Works great and I've yet to encounter any problems with it washing my clothes. This is how a washing machine should work; throw the dirty clothes in with some detergent, and pull out great clean clothes. The machine is quite loud but that doesn't really bother us. bolts on the back of the machine, the machine vibrate with loud noise and move around the floor. We search the instruction menu for solution and also contacted the supplier. We were told to remove the transit bolts on the back. We removed them and the machine operates quietly. There should be a warning sign on the back of the machine to remove the transit bolts as the instruction menu do not explained it clearly. The machine washes and cleans reasonably well but we like to have more water in the machine during rinse cycle to reduce wearing out our cloth.

Favourite feature -We are able to put a Dryer on top of the machine to save space.

Great for small apartments – We purchased this washing machine for our small apartment and it fits perfectly into a tight spot in our bathroom and doesn't make the room feel smaller. It is really easy to use and washes our clothes beautifully. It rinses them well, just be careful not to put too much detergent in as sometimes our sheets come out a bit soapy. Long delay from when the cycle finishes to when the door is released

It is very noisy on the spin cycles for the normal washes.

the most important thing is to remove TRANSIT BOLTS on the back of the machine. This is very poorly explained in the manual.

We removed them this morning and has done one wash since . Pretty quiet,no movement and a nice clean wash .

Don’t buy one!!!! – We have owned this machine for 9 months and have had the repair person out twice and it’s still not working well. The door latch has broken and was told by repairer that it is a very common fault, the latch was made of brittle plastic so he put a metal one in when fixing.

On the cleaning front, I regularly have to reward sheets as it twists them all up and doesn’t clean them well. It doesn’t make a difference going for the longer cycles.

So in short just don’t buy this machine!

No problems, quality was hit machine – It's a little loud but was priced well, has a great warranty and does a great job. I'm especially a big fan of the rapid cycle which is great if you've forgotten to wash some clothes til late and the shirts cycle which leaves minimal requirement for ironing after a wash  Show details

Good washing machine – Very happy with the washing machine, has a good capacity and washes my clothes well, even when I stuff it full! For a washing machine it's not too noisy. Had it for about a year and never had a problem. Usually just use the 59 daily cycle which is quick and does a good job!  Show details

The machine package is poorly designed – Manual is poor. To this day, I still do not know if it is automatic and setting it on Wash will include rinse and spin; or, I have to wash, turn knob to rinse, wait then turn knob to spin. I cannot get any information anywhere telling me what I have to do - Manual is useless. I have tried to watch it but it takes hours to wash. Pathetic after sales "service" – Five months after purchase, the door would not close. Was told 8 to 10 days for a part to arrive. Three weeks of hand washing later, I am still handwashing. Paying 800 for a new machine and then being left like this with no machine makes me furious. I will never buy anything from Hoover or Goodguys again.  Show details

It is all round value for money and it is water economy and quick wash cycle are the big winners – The washing and rinsing is impeccable, and seems a very gentle wash, ultra quiet, and economy plus, power and water. Hot and cold wash it handles maximum and minimum loads with ease, and the spin cycle is a wonderful innovation being able to adjust the speed especially for delicates. Could have more space – I'm no expert on washing machines, this one is the second I've used and it's working well however I'm sure my previous 7L capacity held more, I feel like I'm doing a few extra loads because of it. Terrible after sales service! – Delivered 18/4/17, 8 short weeks later (on 19/6/17) we lodged a warranty issue with The Good Guys and Hoover. A 'small' detail - the drum wasn't turning. appealing prospect - but OK I am a fair person. A week and a half later - still no call so I called them. The parts were delayed so it would be another 5 days... OK back to hand washing... days pass - no call from Hoover or "The Good Guys" so we call again. No surprises here - the parts are STILL delayed! Apparently they are moving their warehouse..... so it would seem that our parts would not be available for another 4 weeks!!! To suggest that at this point we are angry would be somewhat of an understatement! So I called AGAIN yesterday and suggested (firmly but politely) that as this was clearly a major failure that could not be repaired in a reasonable time frame (reference Australian Consumer Law), a replacement machine would be a suitable resolution. So that request has been referred to a manager..... and surprise, surprise, despite a follow up call from me this morning, I can't get an answer to that either! So tomorrow at 9am I will be exercising my right as a consumer in NSW and lodging a formal complaint with the NSW Department of Fair Trading!

Positive – Works fine, but never see my cloths swishing in the water, not much water.. noisy spin .. goes well had it about 6 years going strong
