Hospitality Connect

Bought a $100 chef's knife, they sent it to the wrong address about 3 weeks after I bought it. They claimed the knife had been returned to them and the correspondence was really slow so I asked for a refund and never heard from them again. A correction. I did get a refund but it did take several weeks. I would still not recommend this companey

Unprofessional – I had a bad experience with Hospitality Connect. First of all, their shipping estimate was wrong and after accepting my order they contacted me to say it would cost more than double. Second, it took them 10 days to fill the order and when I called to ask about my order they didn't respond. Third, their integration with shopify wasn't working and so I was not informed that some items were out of stock, and I only discovered this fact when several items did not arrive. Fourth, when I contacted them to inquire about the rest of my order, their staff member B was very rude and called me an anxious customer. Finally, when I asked for a refund they didn't acknowledge my request or apologise for their rude behaviour, and their refund did not include the extra postage I paid for the items not sent.

Great products, prices and service – I bought a Carbone plus Debuyer pan that arrived with some rust and a bit of pitting, maybe due to possible rain that got into the package during shipping? No matter how it happened, they contacted the supplier and got a replacement sent out to me in the end. Not perfect but it was a good experience overall and you can count on this seller to do the right thing by the customer. I would buy from them again :)
