I seriously believe HOTDOCS has been compromised and credit card details have been leaked. I had fake ubereats charges on my bank account. A new card was issued. Not long after updating my HotDocs details with my new card today I noticed a charge again for ubereats. After checking there were 5 charges going back several weeks adding up to around… Read more

$1000. After talking to others who have had the same thing we all realised the 1 thing in common was this App.

HotDoc is good for booking an appointment. However, HotDoc scams for data to sell. You get repeated texts saying you have a recall message from your GP. This is false. When you phone your GP, there is no recall. HotDoc wants your name and address to link to your sign-in email. Then it sells this data.

Booked an appointment, they called 3 times with silence. Trying to get a refund now. Hotdoc sounding like a scam, just recieved an email that they couldn't share the clinical notes with my doctor for the consultation. There was no consultation ffs

This is a must in AU medical services. You find your local service providers and all info of the practitioners. Simple booking system, and support online prescriptions. Give it a try.

Absolutely shocking!!!!!!!!! I requested a callback and waited by the phone for an hour and a half and checked my email and they said they tried to call me twice. There was no missed call. There was no way for me to contact anyone to say I didn't actually get a call. They just took my money and didn't offer a service. I used Hola Doctor and… Read more

they actually text you with appointment details and links. Use HOLA DOCTOR if you want a telehealth appointment! Don't waste your time AND MONEY with HotDoc! I am furious!

Total waste of time & money. Cannot assist as they don't have your records.

When you create a new patient account, they force you to select non-existent pronouns like he/him, they/them. There is no option to just use your name without a royal imperial dragon prefix. Why does HotDoc need to be political? The irony of this nonsense in a medical app is laughable. If selecting one of these fictional titles is mandatory, at… Read more

least let me create my own like Lord/Master or Blue Dolphin!

The service overall is actually not bad for clients, which is why this review got a second star. Even though doctors have complained that HotDoc takes 40% of the fees... The pronoun nonsense is the only thing that lets down the entire experience from the client's perspective.

Avoid using, phone for appointment if possible – Tells you that you have a GP appointment, turn up and no knowledge of it. Repeatedly confirmed a telehealth appointment. No phone call. Twenty minutes AFTER the appointment an SMS to say it was cancelled because I had not filled in the hotdocs form. THERE WAS NO FORM. Triple checked. No form anywhere on that clinic's booking site. Another clinic,… Read more

started filling in their form but lost the work as they said if it was inactive for ONE minute they would clear the form. They did as I was attempting to cut and paste some info. Absolutely infuriating, time wasting user hating beta version app.

Don’t fall in – Hotdoc cool down don’t fall in to this useless app it is not compulsory to give them your details, credit or debit card. I nearly fell into their scheme that they were acting on my behalf but they are only charging the doctors a % commission of your bill. I was led to believe that I was speaking to the medical clinic that I have been attending for… Read more

several years to make an appointment instead the phone was diverted to Hotdoc that wanted to call me an ambulance. Recently made appointment direct with medical practice only to receive email from Hotdoc confirming booking but requiring a link to be filled in with my details for the appointment to go ahead. I did not reply, after the appointment another email from Hotdoc requesting my permission for a claim to be made from medicare. Why would you want Hotdoc to be paid a commission for not taking the booking, not providing any assistance whatsoever and being just another parasite. P.T.P.

Phantom bookings made by Hot Doc – HotDoc sent me a confirmation of a medical appointment I never made. Very confusing for me and the medical practice. I had to phone them to cancel it, only to discover they had no appointment booked. Of course, no number to contact HotDoc.
