better as sometimes I have to call in sick for a 2.00am shift, and if I do the certificate straight away, I can go back to sleep to recover, without worrying I'll miss the window of opportunity to get one.

Any time a Doctor has had to call me to verify something, they're always friendly and professional.

Fast efficient and no nonsense. I filled in the form, waited a few minutes, got a call from the doctor and within minutes he had organised what I needed. The whole process took less time than it normally takes to drive to my regular doctor, that is, when I can get an appointment.

Instant scripts is a wonderful service. Less than 5 minutes from submitting the consultation form and receiving the script. The doctor was very thorough and helpful. Would use this service again for sure!

cares about ticking over the patients for money. I would love to name & shame this quack and should not be a part of a service that is meant to be a convince for people who can't get a doctors appointment or cannot travel. No further questions or duty of care was asked by the doctor.

My appointment lasted exactly 1 minute, not a second longer. Half of that was the Dr ID’ing me. There were no niceties, not even a thank you and goodbye. I was sent a script for my illness. For the cost, some manners would be nice. I guess that's all you get for a quick online consultation.

3 hours 20 minutes waiting — InstantScripts says it aims to call within one hour I paid for an InstantScripts telehealth consultation at approximately 7:40 pm and did not receive a call from a doctor until around 11:00 pm — a wait of about 3 hours and 20 minutes. hour”, although they say this can increase during peak times. They also state that an indicative wait time will be displayed when you request your consultation. (InstantScripts)

During my wait I called InstantScripts four times and left a message trying to find out what was happening. I was also sent a notification saying they had attempted to call me, despite the fact that no call had come through.

One of the biggest problems was having no meaningful idea how many people were waiting ahead of me or how long the delay was actually going to be. I had no way of knowing whether I would be waiting another 20 minutes, another hour, or several hours.

When the doctor eventually called, he was helpful and told me he had only come on board around 30 minutes earlier and already had approximately 60 patients waiting. I have no criticism of the doctor whatsoever. My complaint is with the way InstantScripts manages its service and communicates with paying patients.

If there is a substantial backlog, patients should be clearly informed. At the very least, someone who has already paid should be given an accurate, updated estimate so they can make an informed decision about whether to keep waiting or seek medical care elsewhere.

That is especially important because this is a medical service. Imagine a parent with a sick child waiting for a particular medication, believing that a doctor will be calling shortly. They could potentially spend hours waiting rather than making other arrangements because they have already paid and have no idea how long the queue is.

This isn’t a takeaway order or a late delivery. People are using the service because they need medical assistance. Accurate communication and transparency about delays matter.

I did eventually receive my prescription, but only after waiting from 7:40 pm until around 11 pm, making four phone calls, leaving a message, and receiving a notification claiming an attempted call that I never received.

A wait of 3 hours and 20 minutes, with so little useful information about the delay, is completely unacceptable in my view. I would not use InstantScripts again.

So fast. We recieved our results via email the same day that pathology bloods were taken. Questions prior to were also responded to in a fast, efficient manner.

I have used Instantscripts a few times as I spend a lot of time on the road, I can't fault their service, very quick on return calls and drs who are easy to talk to with excellent results, can highly recommend.

advising that a doctor would call within approximately 30–47 minutes. Because of the late hour, I placed the consultation on hold with the intention of dealing with it later.

Despite placing it on hold, I received a call at 2:09 am, which I did not answer.

I have since gone back into the app intending to locate and cancel the consultation, but I can no longer find it. The app is now asking me to verify my email address, and despite attempting to do so, I have been unable to complete the verification.

My concern is that I have been charged $49 despite not actually receiving a consultation or speaking with a doctor. As I also supplied my Medicare details, I am concerned about whether a Medicare claim may have been submitted despite no consultation taking place.

At this stage, the experience has been frustrating and concerning. I would like InstantScripts to explain the $49 charge, confirm whether any Medicare claim has been made in relation to this consultation, refund any charge for a service that was not provided, and resolve the problems preventing me from accessing and managing the consultation through my account

Refused full repeat script despite being prescribed for the past 4 years. Reason being it may cause dizziness, despite it being prescribed to me by a cardiologist to prevent dizziness. Doctor also advised no way to apply for refund, escalate call, or provide feedback. $60 for a week of medicine (25 tablets) instead of the usual (100 tablets).

Almost $50 for the consultation and script with repeats. Last time I had 3 repeats. This time only 2. Also a bonus was my pill now costs $20 more than the original price. Would have been more beneficial for see my GP at the end of the day.

Requested and paid for the blood test, got it done and got results all within three days! With thr option of a docotros appointment if I wanted. This is how things should be done where possible!

Reliable and easy process which I use often, however the discount code I received in may as a thank you from my last service to use for my next service did not work which I found frustrating and a bit disappointing.

Easiest way to ask for a medical certificate when you are unwell and it can take days to get an appointment with your GP. Love that a doctor calls you and makes sure you are okay and don't need to seek further medical attention. Definitely reassuring.

pharmacist, and looked up Priceline and went through their link. Filled out the form, and as I wanted more than one day on my certificate, got a 20 to 30 min wait for a Doctor. Dr George called in that time, was sensible and didnt make me feel rushed. All done and dusted and back to bed. Oh and got to use my Sisters Club discount, bonus.

Instantscripts is an incredibly unreliable and frequently frustrating experience with doctors who spend no real time doing a proper diagnosis and no real discussion at all. That's when you finally get a chance to speak to them. Their windows of availability are minimal and you can wait days to speak to them if you miss their call. They say they will text ahead of the appointment time but they don't. Not worth the time and effort.

its good becasue where i live i cant see doctor easy becasue its hard to get in same day or i dont feel like driving . but i hate how i get phone calls for no reason

So much easier than trying to get appointment at GP and then having to go out when your feeling sick. I just needed some antibiotics. The doctors on instascripts are thorough and they've helped us a few times for different things. Especially on public holidays!

Forte taking 1x3 times a day, when I said I was happy to receive that script, in spite, unprofessionally & fraudulently, decided not to send a script, then she fraudulently charged me $49 for 10 tabs dispensed in June 26 and I paid $49 for then, to justify her TeleHealth Charge she put through prior to todays Consult!

Further, in spite and unprofessionally, she was going to put on my file, any antibiotics requests, I had to see my local Dr and I don't have one atm + I have infected foot and cannot weight bear and Disabled...It defeats the purpose and role of Instascripts!

call). Was then sent a message requesting more information to be uploaded to portal. When I tried to go to portal consultation had disappeared. I had to contact support who said they couldnt proceed as I needed to provide a copy of my medication and would only accept a photo of box..just ran out of my medication while waiting to get into my normal GP so already threw box out. They then just cancelled the consultation and told to go to my normal GP. I am trying to but unfortunately there is a two week wait. What is the point of instant scripts now?
