1 Aly W.  · Charged my credit card for $80 years after I had used it.
1 Blair L.  · Used to make getting my medication much easier than having to go to the DR, now its just just as time consuming and much more expensive, cancelled my membership
5 KAROLINA B  · Great products – Excellent products, very useful during and after pregnancy as well as post-partum !
1 NG do  · Scam money – Got charged even already cancel 2 years ago. Looking at the account to find the cancel option but nothing looks like the guidelines

Cancelled almost 4 years ago and every year they still take a renewal fee from my account. I have to dispute it with my bank every year. Every year I email customer service to cancel my subscription- I have no active prescriptions and every year I am absolutely ghosted. No customer service whatsoever. Do not ever sign up for this service unless… Read more

you want to be locked in for life. Closing my bank account might’ve easier than getting an email back from this company at the point.

The prenatels themselves were fine. I ordered a subscription of both the male add female capsules each month. However, Kin discontinued this subscription without notifying us and continued to take the money from our account. When this was raised they initially only refunded half of what they had taken. I had to follow up again for the other half.

This is my second pregnancy using Kin supplements. Very happy with the product, the extra vanilla flavour of the prenatal is a nice touch. Quality ingredients and I feel good on them. I tried another brand, but I came back to this one as my body responds well to it and the ordering system is so simple.

A Game Changer – After not being able to book into my GP for 4 weeks and being close to the end of my script, I elected to try out Kin to get my contraceptive pill. GANE CHANGER! It's easy, it's accessible and it's affordable. It came within one week and they asked very personalised questions. Highly recommend!

so easy and the doctors are so sweet and professional – I’ve been on the pill for 2 years and they switched me once they found out that my previous pill wasn’t actually suitable for me and i’m very thankful for that. The doctors are very knowledgeable and so kind and easy to talk to. I would absolutely recommend Kin to a friend. Show details

Absolute best service & staff. Saves so much money and time, cutting out going to a physical gp appointment. So far have had all wonderful nurses but one… (partly my fault for missing her phone calls and being spacey for a week). But a quick email to admin got the ball rolling again. Been with this company for over 5ish years??? Could not recommend more. Super responsive and respectful.

Feeling Great with Kin's Prenatal Vitamins – I've been taking the prenatal vitamins for about a year now, and I feel fantastic! Kin's excellent customer service makes the experience even better.

Great prenatal! – I have been having these for 3 months now and have just reordered my second bath of 3 months. I have them before bed and no issues besides the occasional burp but it's tolerable for me even with a gastric sleeve. I have the gene that means I don't process folic acid properly so I love the fact that this has the methylfolate.

Unreliable and inconsistent – Used to be a good service but not anymore. I have been with Kim for around 5 years. It is a member subscription service where they claim to offer free postage of meds. This in itself is a total lie because shortly after signing up members received communications that the cost of postage was being added to the customer and no longer provided free… Read more

because it was impractical to offer free services with the increasing demand of medications being ordered via Kin and this cost is actually tacked on to your med costs - it is not free. Then came the hugely inflated increase to the annual membership fees. They had a reasonable excuse the first time however I was not impressed it was so soon after joining. The fee to access online contraception was originally reasonable at $55, I was happy to pay slightly more but then in another extremely short period they increased it again, massively by around $20 and it became almost totally unaffordable. At almost $100 a year membership plus only being able to access high costing contraceptives or non generic meds without access to your pbs concession entitlements either, it’s unaffordable for most. No they won’t allow you to provide your concession details to their chosen pharmacy to access lower costing medications and entitlements despite reaping huge memberships fees off the customer. It’s also quite often you never get the same GP attending to you. They chop and change between staff and often a nurse will come into your account and take control and you are denied communications with your GP which provides an unease on your health because nurses always contradict what the Dr has put in place. I will also add that I am coming off a years free membership that was offered as a compensation due to a massive privacy and confidentiality breach on my account when a year ago, a general customer service staff member accessed my records and made changes to my medical account without ANY authority to do so. This person was not a nurse or a gp. I had completed my annual rescript appointment with my GP, an approved rescript of medication was Provided however when trying to access my scripts on file I was denied and then the script authorisation was deleted by clerical staff from my account, this was not approved or conducted by a GP. It was a gross negligent error on Kins part. I did take the matter to the health board in my state and reported it to the health board in Kins state. I lost contact with my GP and was given someone new and had to go through the entire set up again of my medical hostory in order to obtain a simple rescript approval undoing the error caused by Kin. It was an incredibly stressful experience and it’s not been the first with them over the past several years. They have had frequent issues with pharmacies and delayed postage of meds. There was a time I made a complaint because my dispatch of time sensitive meds (and promised express postage) went amiss. It took more than 2 weeks for pharmacy staff to actually post my medication that was left sitting at the pharmacy despite it being processed and payment taken. I was also given some cock and bull story by staff that at one point, that because Kin had changed pharmacies my script (that was current, approved by GP and had access to several repeats remaining) was no longer valid or accessible and this script was refused by the pharmacy which caused yet another massively unreasonable delay in receiving my meds. This also caused yet another need to go through and get a whole new rescript approved by yet another differing GP because I was refused access to the GP who had been managing me prior. Don’t count on ever getting consistent services. It does not happen. Educate yourselves ladies and do your research. The cost to obtain contraceptives conveniently online through Kin is extremely overpriced and the process is actually a nightmare and frought with issues. Initially Kin was a fantastic service and the only place this type of service could be accessed but it has become a shadow of what it was, it’s run poorly and there are so many other reputable providers in Australia you can access contraceptives from, at far lower costs. I have cancelled my membership now after 5 years of trying to stick with them it became unbearable. Staff were unwilling to let me speak to my actual GP and insisted I change meds to a more expensive type and brand which is simply not acceptable. I can get the newly suggested med however from elsewhere without Kins huge membership fee that provides nothing but an actual headache. Go elsewhere your health WILL benefit.

BEWARE!! – I have been with Kin for a few years now and was really excited when I found out about this service! No more doctor appointments and waiting in a waiting room just to get my contraceptive renewed. I absolutely loved this service and the convenience. HOWEVER, in August I received an e-mail from Kin asking for video feedback which they can use for… Read more

their social media pages and in return they will give you a $200 VISA card. As I have been with Kin for a few years, I thought this was a great opportunity. So I submitted my video feedback and signed the consent form and the heard nothing from them... So after much searching for a contact number, I finally engaged with them on Instagram. I enquired about the VISA card and Elle, (the customer service consultant) proceeded to assist me. She did not know about the video feedback and took a few days to come back to me. After much back and forth, she finally said that the VISA card was sent to my e-mail and I should check my inbox. However, I still had not received the card. I have ask if I could give them another e-mail but have not heard back from them. It's been over a month of back and forth and I have not been given what was promised. So my conclusion, Kin is just another corporate trying to steal from the people that keep them afloat... I am honestly thinking of cancelling my subscription and going back to my GP. I will also be lodging a formal complaint.

My actual experience with Kin was fine, however I feel it needs to be made more obvious that you there is an annual prescription fee of $79.00 AND the actual prescription itself is not entitled to any PBS benefit or concession rates so you are paying more than necessary for a prescription. This is fine if you have good health insurance that will… Read more

cover the cost, or your medication is already not covered by PBS but I found out I was paying $80.00 every 3 months for a prescription I can fill with instant scripts for $30.00. Big difference in price, and this (non PBS) isn't accessible information.

Credit card fraud – Just had an unauthorised transaction on my credit card by Kin on Sunday afternoon. Be very careful with this company, not sure I will see my $88 again, but I have cancelled my membership now, much better service with my GP. Use to be good, not anymore – Use to be good. I've been using Kin for 4 years for the pill + prenatals. Use to be so helpful and communicative, not anymore unfortunately. Asked to see the doctors letter and they're just ignoring my request. 100% easier… Read more

Good products but unexpected subscription charges and no refund ability – The prenatal vitamins and vaginal probiotics are good. However, be careful with signing up to a subscription service by mistake. I had just reordered 2 bottles of probotioics (not via subscription) and less than a couple weeks later get an email and bank charge saying my subscription for probiotics (3 bottles) has just been processed. I didn’t… Read more

even know I had a subscription! I asked on the web chat if I could cancel the order as it has not yet been shipped, and they said no their refund policy is you can’t get a refund after the order is placed. So annoying and I found it pretty unreasonable given they hadn’t shipped yet and I had JUST ordered the same product.

Do not use – Very annoyed. Signed up to Kin from an encouraging email to get denied a call back about me requested pill and my membership cancelled with no explanation. However they were still happy to charge me $79 for no reason. At first I thought it was fraud but I generally think Kin has become greedy since I last used them years ago and of course I’m now getting no response to any emails. Be careful with this one.

What an amazing service! – I submitted the online questionnaire on a Sunday afternoon, and spoke to a practitioner Sunday night (yes, a Sunday night). I then had my prescription in my hand on Thursday. INCREDIBLE!! Could not be happier with this service. My practitioner really listened to what I had filled in on my questionnaire and took my thoughts into consideration. 10/10.

Long wait for delivery – We ordered the padsicle and perri bottle the day of our birth. Took a week to arrive. By then the important days that this product is really needed are done. They should at least warn of postage times. Tried to send the box back unopened and told we can’t. Do yourself a favour a find similar products at a local chemist. Show details

Terrible service, no phone number – Firstly, window of call with practitioner was 4 hours... not exactly convenient for workers with meetings. This service is a must have – I work two jobs going from 9-7:30 each day and i literally never have time to make a doctors appointment and actually attend it. I need to keep my pill subscription going but i just cant get to the doctors. Kin was the first company to help me effortlessly and on my own time. I genuinely feel this is a company for the girls bc we know just how busy life can get so a company like this is perfect. 100/10 recommend

Great & east – Was super easy to get my prescription. I was prescribed within 2 days and i received my pill within the week. I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. I’ve recommended kin to anyone that will listen!

Love the concept but not as responsive as I’d hoped – I did sign up at the end of Dec so not sure if it was the time of year but it took at least 3 days, sometimes 5 to get a response from my practitioner. This meant the process which I thought would be only a few days to finalise my prescription actually took about 2 weeks. So found that a little bit disappointing. Hoping that once I receive my prescription it will be a little more smooth sailing.
