Simple to use and extremely fast response – I work night shifts on the Weekends, so when I couldn’t make it to my Sunday shift and My regular Drs Surgery and all local surgeries were closed, I couldn’t obtain a Certificate which was demanded from my employer, I found Updoc by chance and had my certificate delivered to both my email and phone, whereas I was able to present this to my Manager on the same night, great speedy service, will use again if needed.

Terrible company, don’t ever use!!! Confusing platform, app sends you round in circles, ended up getting charged twice $60 for one consult. No response for days except automated reply’s. Once you chat to Doc, have to pay again to actually get prescription - not disclosed when booking. Then have to pay for delivery, and have to wait 3 hours for delivery?

Asking for months now to cancel subscription for my old email account I no longer have access to and they didn't listen to me said they'd send a link to said email account that isnt valid any more I informed them of that again then no reply from then since but of course charged like clock work each month.

uploaded pictures on the portal for the doctor to review and I was contacted within minutes by a updoc doctor. I’m very happy with the outcome. I was sent a prescription to my phone and was able to collect everything that I needed straight after the appointment online. Very happy with the service they provided and highly recommend to anybody needing an online GP.

Edit: I am changing my score because of the terrible experience I've had dealing with Updoc since the consultation.

After the consultation, I got a text message with a link which offered an upgrade to Updoc Pro. I clicked on the link, which took me to the page with the information about Updoc Pro. I tapped on a button to get more information, but inadvertently tapped on the Subscribe button. I was immediately subscribed and charged $299. I immediately realised my mistake and canceled my subscription. Confirmation of the cancelation came through 11 minutes later. I emailed Customer Care with a request for a refund. In response, I got an automated message confirming that my subscription had been canceled, but stating that no refund was possible. I have emailed Customer Care twice, and gotten no response whatsoever. I think the action of Updoc in refusing to refund my money when I had obviously made an error and canceled immediately, and not used the subscription, is unconscionable. I once again request a full refund.

 Follow-up  · I finally obtained a refund - but after my experience, I'm certainly not going to use their service again.

and waited for hours, as it was quite urgent. Instead of receiving timely assistance, I received a call from a doctor at 4am while I was asleep — nearly 11 hours later. By that point, the referral was no longer helpful and the delay caused significant inconvenience.

To make matters worse, despite the money being taken from my account, there was no accountability or proper follow-up. I feel let down by the entire experience, especially given the urgency of my situation.

Unfortunately, this service cost me both time and money, and I would not recommend based on my experience.

 Follow-up  · I needed a same day referral - they stipulated wait time of 2hrs. I did not speak with a doctor and I havent to date received a refund for the service I never received.

Don’t believe all the 5 star reviews. If you have been incorrectly / wrongly billed or need online assistance you will never hear back from their customer service area because it’s all AI Robot. The medical Doctors are proficient, they are let down by the non existent Admin & Customer Care areas.

confirmation or update email, even after a year. When I raised the issue, Updoc refunded six months as a “goodwill gesture,” but continued to ignore or were really slow at responding to any of my follow‑up emails regarding the remaining charges. You get a new person responding and who asks you the same questions as before. They tell you they send you lots of communications about the subscriptions- this is false. You recieve communications about their other products. They refused to provide me evidence of a subscription. After researching online, it’s clear many customers have had the same issue. Transparency around subscriptions and billing needs serious improvement.

This site signed me up for an ongoing subscription when I asked for a one-off review. They also provided a medical certificate with no-consult which is against medical policies. I would not trust this site/company.

knowledge or informed consent. I only used the service twice, yet more than $1,200 was deducted from my account over time. I received no meaningful reminders, invoices or communication regarding these recurring charges, and the subscription arrangement was not made sufficiently clear during the consultation or sign-up process. I have repeatedly attempted to resolve this directly with the company and have struggled to receive any proper response. Consumers should be extremely cautious and carefully check whether they are being automatically enrolled into ongoing subscriptions when using this service. I won't use this service again.
