Simple to use and extremely fast response – I work night shifts on the Weekends, so when I couldn’t make it to my Sunday shift and My regular Drs Surgery and all local surgeries were closed, I couldn’t obtain a Certificate which was demanded from my employer, I found Updoc by chance and had my certificate delivered to both my email and phone, whereas I was able to present this to my Manager on the same night, great speedy service, will use again if needed.

I have been using Updoc continually now for 3 years and have never, ever been let down. I will only expand my use of more of their services as time goes on. 10 out of 10.

Dodgy company. I paid for a service and within seconds received a message saying my request couldn’t be completed. Attempted to contact Updoc for a refund, never received a response despite my follow ups. Do not use this company!!!

unauthorised transaction (Newcastle Permanent Building Society) I spoke to a teller at the NPBS branch. She was very rude when I tried to explain what had happened. She said it was my fault for signing a subscription and refused to block Updoc from taking money from my account. I phoned my bank's Customer service line and asked for a payment dispute. They completed it saying, they were unable to get a refund as I had subscribed and basically bad luck!. I went on Updoc website and tried to cancel my subscription. To no avail. I emailed them the following letter: ( please feel free to use it as a template if you want to contact Updoc. Their email address is:contact@updoc.com.au). It is always better to send something in writing if you need to show evidence when you lodge a complaint with Fair Trading or the ACCC.

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), hidden automatic renewals or failure to transparently disclose ongoing costs can be classified as misleading or deceptive conduct. I demand that you take the following actions immediately: Cancel any and all active subscriptions linked to my name, email address, and payment details. Issue a full refund for all recurring subscription fees charged to my account without my knowledge. Provide written confirmation via email once the subscription is terminated and the refund is processed. So now I am planning to take this further and pitch this as a Class Action with relevant lawyers who deal in these cases. I feel they will just keep doing it otherwise.

Updoc is heavily criticised by Australian consumers for deploying subscription traps, vith many users reporting recurring monthly charges of $79.95 after requesting a single medical certificate or consultation. Furthermore, the Federal Parliament recently banned subscription traps, and the ACCC aggressively penalises digital platforms that trick users into recurring memberships. So please take the time to lodge a complaint directly with the ACCC. The more complaints they receive the better.

Action to consider. : Submit a general inquiry form outlining the widespread ProductReview pattern to the class action investigation teams at Maurice Backburn or Shine Lawyers If they register a critical mass for affected consumers, they may launch an official investigation. My certificate came very quickly. Perfect if you can't get an appointment with your regular doctor!

I loved how convenient and easy Updoc was to use. The whole process was quick, simple, and hassle-free, especially when you need medical support without having to visit a clinic.

It’s actually really decent. If you have access to a 24/7 pharmacy, Updoc means you can get scripts and then the medicine virtually within a couple hours at any time of day. Huge upgrade over a regular gp

Quick and efficient. No wait rooms full of sick people and long wait times. Dr was knowledgeable and asked lots of questions and relayed information clearly to ensure I had appropriate understanding of condition.

Absolutely terrible service. The doctor wrote the wrong thing on the blood test referral and didn't specify clearly what it was for. Instead of putting SMA genetic testing they just put SMA panel, which led to QML doing the wrong test. I then tried to contact Updoc to rectify this and give me a new referral but there is no contact number for them… Read more

and when i reach out via email all you receive is an automated reply telling you to fill out a form. I've filled out the form 3 times and still not heard back. I have also sent countless emails and not heard back. I will now need to pay for another referral to correct a mistake which was entirely not my own. You genuinely cannot get in touch with anyone at Updoc there is 0 customer service.

Updoc is great for consultations and medical certificates. They come through relatively quickly and you get a call within a reasonable amount of time. However - I had a problem with not receiving a medical certificate. There is no possible way for me to solve this issue. related to my issue from their bot Monica. There’s no number to call them. You can’t use their ‘DM’ feature on this platform anymore. Comments seem to be deleted on social media (that’s my assumption, 29 comments but only 2 show up). There’s no way to actually talk to someone, and I can feel the frustration that other reviewers have left. I tried calling back the number that called me to speak to the doctor directly. I even tried finding the actual doctor who I spoke to, with no luck. Updoc is great, if you never make any mistakes, and they never make any mistakes. Otherwise, it is extremely difficult, near impossible, to fix an issue.

Scammed me out of $59.95 twice, paid for medical certificate, was told by the doctor he could not give me one, I then got charged again and was told I had a subscription which I never signed up for, I contacted the bank and am getting my money back . Scam scam scam

I booked an appointment through Updoc for a referral letter. I spoke with a doctor who said he would send me through the referral for $59.95. I never got sent the letter, there is no one to contact except an email address which has lead to no response. I used this service and paid abit more then I would if I was to go to my local doctor purely for the convince. However has turned out to be alot more trouble.

Find another service. Took my money, provided NOTHING. Refused refund. They claim no refund where service is not made use of however they delayed service until I was unable to use it. Money under false pretences. There are other services out there use someone else.

I have just spent more than a 1hr filling page after page of information about myself to ask a very simple question, if I use #updocs are you going to contact my current doctor & tell them that I'm shopping around for a new doctor ? you because your doctor isn't a partner of updocs. Any review that says "Simple to use and extremely fast response" is talking IT up & the review was probably an AI agent, because the site is slow, the emails have copyright message dated 2015, they say they will call your mobile 3 times ( I live i rural SA , very poor reception - waited outside under a tree) if you don't answer "Hard Luck" lost $69

I unknowingly signing up on a subscription base service and got charge monthly or twice monthly and now have huge difficulty to cancel the subscription and no number that I can call. Going thru lots of steps to cancel in the end error on the last page...
