Completely and utterly useless product - tried after multiple sprays on a small bush fly insect and it is still flying days later. Typical waste of money and most of the junk that is sold out of Bunnings.

The Hovex surface barrier spray does not work at all. The cockroaches crawl over it the day after the area is flooded. It should be banned as a con job If I could rate it lower than one star I would Show details

Rubbish Don't buy it – This is a rubbish product, not only do the bugs keep going after spraying but the nozzle foams up half the product runs down the can, poor spray design. Show details

What a waste of money – I sprayed so much I could hardly breathe, yet the little flying creatures still crawling and buzzing around just as happy as before I sprayed. Bunnings - this product is rubbish  Show details

What a pointless product. Terrible – I bought this from bunnings (so thought it must be good) it was terrible. It doesn’t work at all! You have literally one job and you can’t even do that! Even when spraying a bug at close range for 10 seconds it doesn’t kill the thing! Don’t even try killing flies with it as you’ll just be wasting your time! I don’t understand how Hovex are still in business! Terrible products! Show details

Over it – I bought some cans of Hovex fly spray, it does kill the fly's, eventually, but every time I spray I am also cleaning the mist that covers everything in reach. I have checked each of the cans I bought and they are all the same. I have to cover my coffee of glass when spraying or it gets in there, pleased I didn't pay full prive for it. Show details

Straight in the bin – This product is SLOW knockdown. Dont waste your money on it. Shame on Bunnings for stocking this. The flies I sprayed eventually died after cleaning themselves and ingesting the spray... Show details

Flies and creepy crawlies will just laugh at this product! – I bought a can of Hovex Multi Insect Spray from Bunnings a few weeks ago hoping it would be a good general purpose spray in our house. I can honestly say its completely useless. Flies just seem immune even when hit at close range with a good blast. Cockroaches and spiders take ages to kill. I would be better off with a thong. Dont bother with this one Show details

Ineffective on flies – Living in a rural area we have our share of flies, mozzies etc. Got a text from the Mrs requesting flyspray. I was already in Bunnings and being a reluctant shopper opted to find some fly spray then and there. That afternoon was a warm one and the little airplanes were out in force. After 2 good area sprays indoors, followed by hunt and shoot… Read more

tactics, I'd assumed job done. However it was as if I'd dreamed the spraying. The flies didn't seem to mind this spray at all. It took to well into the evening before we noticed no more flies. Whether his was from the spray or they just went to bed who knows. Needless to say I don't think I'll get this Hovex again.
