The humm90 Mastercard was previously known as the Skye Mastercard. Skye rebranded to humm90 on the 16th of November, 2020.

Details

The humm90 Mastercard (previously Skye Mastercard) gives you two interest free finance options to choose from. Instead of the more common 44 or 55 interest free days, you can get up to 110 days breathing space on every card purchase. If you struggle to pay off your balance in full at the end of each statement period, this feature can help you save by reducing the amount of interest you would otherwise accumulate. This card does have a high standard purchase rate of 24.99% so if you don't pay off your balance in full within 110 days you could end up with a costly bill.

You also have the option to convert card purchases over $250 with a humm90 retail partner to a long term interest free instalment plan of 9, 12 or 15 months (minimum monthly repayment applies). However, you'll have to pay a small establishment fee of 3, 4 or 5%. Keep this in mind because even if you don't have to pay interest on your purchase for a long period of time, the overall cost of your purchase will still be higher than if you pay it outright or within the up to 110 days days interest free period.

For overseas purchases you won't have to pay a foreign transaction fee and for added security, this card also features motion code technology. Instead of a static 3 digit security code, it uses a dynamic CVV that automatically changes every hour. This feature will cost you $20.

With an up to 110 days interest free period, interest-free instalment options and no foreign transaction fee this card has several positive features that you may benefit from. If you choose humm90 and wish to apply today, here's what you'll need:

Liars

If I could give zero I would. Requested account closure to acquire a personal loan. Paid the account out in full and it took them over 10 business days to finally close my account which resulted in my personal loan falling through. Customer service provided no help and instead would just lie to me about the status of my account closure. Show details

Absolutely terrible - trips and traps everywhere - beware

Terrible customer service and a terrible product - avoid at all costs.
Check the terms and conditions as they will get you with fees for anything and everything.
Customer service takes about an hour to review your account and then doesn't help after all that, they don't know how their own products work.
App and website are sub-standard, information on the site does not update regularly and their communication is atrocious.
There must be better options out there, do not take this one, you will have much regret as I do. Show details

Terrible experience. Misleading and deceitful. Don't do business with Humm90

Quite possibly the most deceitful and misleading financial organisation that exists. They intentionally leave out information when disclosing interest free period terms. Take my advice and go with a reputable bank or financial institution. Humm90 is a terrible organisation. Show details

Very low credit limit

New application only get $4000 credit limit, so you cannot take any benefit of advertised balance transfer offer. Even if your annual income is 150k and only 1 other credit card Show details

High interest scam

Humm 90 charge exorbitant interest rates. They also continue to charge you even though you pay to reduce your credit. They keep your funds for 4 business days or more, 'to verify the funds' while continuing to charge you interest on the higher balance, even though they receive your payments immediately. I have paid this card off and I will never use them again. Show details

Worst credit card experience I've ever had

Horrible customer service. Closed after 5pm weekday and on weekend for a credit card company is unheard of these days! My card was blocked for a 'suspicious transaction' (a payment of $4.56 to Google Storage) and when I called they told me (read off a script) it will be 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS before they would unblock it. I now can't fill the car with petrol, buy my groceries or go out. When I asked them why I wasn't notified before the block occurred they said they had emailed me (on an email I had changed and told them about, two years ago! I had complained about it several times, but it's like they don't listen or care) DO NOT USE THEM! I've applied for an Australian based credit card now. Can't wait to leave these incompetents!! Show details

I would sooner save up than use Humm again

Got my Humm paid out. When I got it paid out twice they owed me money I wanted to close my account they expected all these letters from different banks 1 the 1 to make up the difference on a regular payment the and one from where the money came from took me nearly 2 months of going backwards and with phone calls and emails in the mean time I got slammed with the annual fee as they were stalling to close my account Show details

I tried to use it at the workshop called Midas, and it didn't work. In fact, I called to get help. The call has been hanged. I want to know why it's not working. Is there any other way to pay at the store?
