Hurricane Spin Broom

Very unimpressive – Unfortunately this broom is not very good at all. It hardly picks anything up and is very disappointing. Waste of money really. Traditional broom is much better and much easier.

This is perfect – I bought this broom as we have tiles in the dinning/ kitchen area and after the kids have eaten there is always food bits on the floor and this picks it all up without me having to get down on my knees

wouldn't spin, there for would not pick Anything up. Cleaned it. It worked for like half of my small kitchen floor and then stopped again. Tried cleaning it again and same thing over and over. I want to spend my time cleaning my floor, NOT the tool I use to clean it. Just thought everyone should know.

very good – very good easy to use good value makes life easy just leave the spin broom in the room and just grab when you need to clean it up just one item don't need dust pans just one item to do the job all you need is the spin broom

It is very good – I have mainly small areas where I can use this except for my kitchen. It performs really well once you get used to the swivel and that doesn't take long. It only perform in 1 direction which is fine.

better than expected – Its great between vacuuming and also instead of sweeping then getting the dustpan or trying to find the dustpan to pick it up its all in one. I like it as an alternative.

Ads don't reflect reality – When I used the spin broom it just shifted the dirt and anything else on the floor further along. Very little was actually swept up.. Could not get into corners.

Don’t buy this! – Stopped spinning on my third use. It just pushes everything forward. So cheap. Unfortunately I immediately threw away the box and receipt so all I can do is throw it away now.

crap – it only works pushing forward with a heavy down pressure wont work on polished floor or carpet or mats it does work on a rough floor of timber of lieno on bits of rubbish not fluff 10-10 =0

harder than a normal broom. Just roll over the mess and it'll pull in anything in its path."

The product doesn't pull in the mess, it just pushes it around the floor. Therefore it doesn't work as intended or advertised. Company claims "Our entire product range is guaranteed to perform to your highest expectations, and we back that up with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied you can return your product to us for a full refund (excluding postage and handling) at any time within 30 days"

Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I couldn't return the product within 30 days and now, a few months later, the company has bluntly refused to give me a refund. The company representative admitted that if it was within the 30 days, I could have been refunded but not now. I am pursuing a refund through the ACCC but I'm also warning others. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - use a regular broom!

False Advertising – The Hurricane Broom performs nothing like advertised on TV. The product is flimsy and obviously made with inferior materials. at all and it doesn’t work backwards. So the product is not convenient and performs poorly. I have my elderly father the 2nd one, as I got an extra one free (gee I wonder why?). He has little mess on his tile floor and he himself said the broom was hopeless.

Hurricane Spin Broom – The worst product I have used in my 48 years of marriage. Just does not sweep as the tv advertisement claims. The only reason I did not sent it back was the cost of postage. I did not want to waste any more money and when I see it in the cupboard it reminds me not to buy a product unless I see it first. Very badly made of cheap plastic the bristles bent on the first and only time I have used it. Not recommend.

Love it, I bought two – It's great between vacuuming. Does a great job sweeping an collecting dirt, an saves time. How many times have I found the broom then can't find the dustpan, problem solved

Great broom use it daily t – This is a great product. We also purchased one for our son & he also thinks it’s great. We would recommend this product to everyone. The built in dust pan is a bonus & time saver

This is a great produt for the price – This product is great. I bought it because I have a lot of tiled flooring & I'm sick of getting out the vacuum cleaner every second day. If I had a complaint - it would be that I didn't realise that the product only worked in a forward direction. No big deal really, just need to get used to using this way.

It's great, especially for picking-up the small bits of gritty dirt you can't see – I suffer with Arthritis and Ross River Virus, which are very painful.With the amount of floor area I have, I feel the Spin Broom could be five Centre meters wider, and also work in reverse. Apart from that, it works well, and with those small adjustments made, the Spin Broom would be a SUPER SPIN BROOM.

The reason for only 4 stars is that I had thought that it would also p'pick up' on reverse as well a – The 'pick up' of the broom is excellent..the reason for my 4 stars only was that I am disappointed that it only works forward & I had thought it would also reverse.

DON'T PURCHASE!!!!!!!!! – I returned this product. It cost me $69.95 to purchase. Return freight was $28.70 plus the $9.95 included in the purchase. It is totally useless. Before I returned it they offered it to me for half price! It will scratch your hardwood floor. It is cheaply made. You will be a sucker like me if you buy it. Who ever gives this a good review must be paid to do so!!!!!

Don't waste your money – Not good at all.Would not recommend .Waste of money.Only picks up medium to large items not dog hair crumbs ect.In the bin is were it belongs and that is were is .

Love it witha a dog and wood floors. Perfect – I love this Spin Broom. We have dog hair and with The Spin Broom, makes light work on the wood floors. Easy for me as I am in an electric chair.

total Crap – The most useless product on the market. It does not pick up any dirt no matter how large or small. All it does is push the rubbish along. It is just another broom. DO NOT BUY ONE. Save your money

Easy to use – Much easier than getting the vacuum cleaner out. Good for pet hair and spills. Very light and easy to maneuver and good reach and gets into corners well. Leave the broom out to pick up messes when they occur.

It does the job I bought it for – After watching a few independent videos reviews I decided to buy it for the only purpose of quickly picking up my children's food scrap mess and bulk of sand/dirt in my living area on a daily basis, particularly around skirting boards, against the fridge, against my couch (which is down to floor level so the food doesn't get pushed underneath). … Read more

I've only received it today and just tried it and I'm happy with it! Sweeping usually takes me 30 mins, I was done with that thing in less than 10. I didn't even bother to pick up toys beforehand, it just pushed them around but still got the little stuff from the floor! It picked up dried spaghettis, a stone the size of a fish finger, little pieces of chewed and spat out bread. It went around my couch and skirting board pretty well. It only struggled with fine crumbs and sand but got the bulk out, and it didn't pick that bit of dried Wheetbix on the floor (but I usually have to manually scrap them off anyways). No it didn't do a perfect job, but like I said before, I only bought it to get the bulk, and that it did. My vacuum cleaner will get the rest on my weekly clean up.

The trick with it is to apply a bit of pressure on the handle to make the brushes spin and to go only forward as it spits everything out if you go backwards. And don't bother with carpet, it only does hard floors!

I don't have pets, so no problem with fur, but I noticed that while it got some teddy bear fluff off the floor, it got stuck in the middle brush and then it wasn't picking up things so well until I removed the fluff.

The bin is a little tricky to open and you need to watch out the angle you tip it as I found things were spilling on their own and not in the bin !

I have even floor boards so no struggle with grout but I've heard that some people with tiles and deep grout don't go too well.

I'm not too sure about the quality and durability of this product to be honest, so I wouldn't recommend spending more than $30 on it. Hopefully using it lightly once a day won't affect it too quickly.

Embarrassingly good! – The Hurricane Spin Broom is embarrassingly good. I have two cats & even though the floors look clean the spin broom seems to extricate cat fur embedded in the rugs, fur that doesn't seem to be there until I use the spin broom and WOW! Every day it collects more fur. A marvellous product. Susannah Cavill.

Love it, – This broom is a Great invention. Sometimes the cylindrical rotating brush inside leaves dust behind on floor. Quicker than broom & dustpan, love not have a lead to plug into power also.

Great broom – I have found this broom most satisfactory and so handy and it is so easy for my husband to use as he seems to enjoy sweeping the floors as he doesn't have to use a dust pan.

reasonable for price...i like get one free – As advertised.. except it doesent sweep right up to skirting boards as shown in advertising material on tv .........A friend bought a cheaper copy which turned out to be about as useful as an ashtray on a motor bike genuine costs more but at least it works...thank you...............

Good idea – It's good, shame it can't be used on carpet though,picks up every thing in its path,easy and conveient to use,very lightweight gave one to a friend and she likes it

Its ok – It's OK. It is very clunky and noisy. The handle comes loose quite a bit and not all that easy to clean the inside of the tray. I'm a little disappointed especially as it was quite expensive. I would not buy it again especially at that price.

Excellent for people with mobility issues – Excellent for people with mobility issues....... but not as good as in the ad if there is a lot of furniture as it doesn't sweep right up to the skirting board under furniture. It is still a very good tool though. Good for a quick daily sweep.

Good for quick sweep – I like that I can sweep under things as the handle bends. Also picks up lots of unseen dust and gets to the edges of the skirting boards and under free standing mats.

Just what you need – We bought the Spin Broom on a buy one get one free so we use one inside and one outside, they are perfect, the ACTUALLY DO pick up everything and so easy to use! Plus it's light and hangs up to store easy. Just love it!
