This company is a major SCAM – I also fell for the 'Free Sample' trick that Hydra Claire specialise in. Instantly hit with 'postage fees' which weren''t too bad but I emailed to cancel the order which hadn't even arrived yet. Told them not to take any more money out of my account and they said that apart from postage that would be it. They are total liars as they then went… Read more

ahead and withdrew over $200 in 2 debits from my account. Had to cancel my card to ensure they did not continue to steal from my account. as in the fine print they say they will debit you on a monthly basis but the full price is not disclosed. And after 3 weeks still no "free sample". A company that engages in such dishonest, deceptive practices clearly has no faith in its product. So when the 'free sample' eventually did arrive it was binned- they have no product ingredient list so how do we know it's even safe to use? Reported them to Consumer Affairs who were aware of the company's thievery but said because they were headquartered overseas there was nothing they could do. Never go near this shonky product.

The best cream and serum I have ever used – I was very skeptical at first, but it was amazing the cream helps with my pigmentation, The serum helps with my wrinkles, the wrinkles around my eyes have reduced significantly. It sets well and my makeup sits amazingly on top of it.

This scum ball scam has hit N.Z – My own stupidity has left me over $600 short in my bank account after this company fleeced me. A free sample has led to the biggest ripoff I have ever fallen for. My credit card is now cancelled and I’m hopeful my demands will see my money . Ever hopeful. Don’t go near this company or their shonky products. The postage was over $150.00 (according to the bank account deduction). The last time I fall for a FREE sample.

Hope you have the decency to print this.

Overpriced crap, more about gouging your bank balance than skin care – Overpriced, better off buying Nivea. Beware of free trial scam, at your bank account before you can blink. Do not go any where near this product. Charged ( they say for postage only) but take about $300+ from your account and sign you up for monthly $300+ account.

Oh and don’t be surprised if you find your account has been hacked by someone who works for this mob. Police investigating.

What a scam. Charged and not delivered – I've had to cancel my credit card to stop the rip off. Charged a fortune and not delivered. Calling the "help" centre was no help.

Never received, but charged postage – What a scam. You sign up for one product and agree to pay the postage, then they charge you postage on a second item; then neither arrive and they won't refund the postage...scammers and thieves.

What a scam, false advertising – SHARK TANK and channel 10- why have you not issued a comment or replied to these poor reviews? We only purchased on your recommendation? What a disgrace of a company.

What a cheating scam! It doesn't deserve a rating! – It was advertised on facebook. I haven't used the product yet! When I rang to cancel the order I was answered by an Indian sounding male who sounded like he was in a tunnel. He said he would cancel my order and not send any more product. I didn't sign a contract to purchase the cream; I wanted my money returned. He assured me that all terms and… Read more

conditions were stated in the advertising and he could not return my money. I have already cancelled my credit card. P.S. If the cream was any good, they wouldn't have to scam people into buying it! For the prices they charge, it should come with sprinkles of pure gold in it.

Exposed on Australian television – Smalll print and conditions which make it impossible to return the 'free trial' in the 14 days. By the time you ring and get a Return Merchandise Authorization you only have 7 day period in which they have to receive the returned package otherwise it is assumed you have OK'd them to deduct a monthly payment. No refunds. You have to stop your… Read more

Warning: biggest scam – SCAM!!! Do not purchase a sample from this company. They will not send the sample product and will continue to deduct TWICE the amount from your account each month. I did not receive the product I was charged for and they won't refund the monies charged. **Stay very clear of this company and their fake product.

Such a scam – I thought I was just paying for shipping but obviously in small print you dont see all the details. I've never been caught in this type of scam. I did not know they took $141 for the first jar then yesterday I received another and I was confused until I read the info. I was so upset. Next day I rang the Australian number and I was on the phone… Read more

arguing about wanting a refund he kept saying we do not refund and I said I am staying on the phone until I get a refund. Eventually he said I can have 25% back and I said no way at least half so they agreed and Ill be refunded half of one jar. Im still not happy about this and I really let them know what a low way to steal peoples money,

Definite Scam -false advertising – I also fell for the FALSE add for a free trial, the full amount was deducted before I even received the product, I rang immediately to cancel future deliveries, they will automatically send out another jar every month. I ordered this “trial” a few months ago, to be fair it is a nice product but not worth the price, it has only improved my skin very slightly.

TOTAL SCAM BEWARE – I was stupid. The package came when I was sick and indisposed. Totally forgot about it until I was charged for a second delivery. Won’t refund. I haven’t even opened the boxes!

SCAM Alert!!! – They lure you in with trials. Just pay the postage but if you read your info insert you'll see that they will debit your credit card 14 days later. For almost $140 per an item!!! The return process is ridiculous. Get reference numbers, return address, pay to return it to Singapore AND then call back with a tracking number to prove you sent it.

RIP OFF. Trial sent with no paperwork re return or future payments taken off your credit card. DONT – I am so upset. I have just been through a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer). My skin is dry and needs some special care, thought this would be good. But since i am not working, i feel totally ripped off and definitely cannot afford the $300 that this has cost me. I have had to cancel my credit card which is very inconvenient.

A SCAM - PLEASE DO NOT GET INVOVLED WITH THIS – Please stay away from this product. They offer you with a free trial and then slug you with $140 fees per item. I was charged $285 for two little jars. No cream is worth $140 - it would have to be capable of miracles to be worth this.

Beware - Trial Pack $$$$$ scam – Do not buy trial pack!! You will end up paying more $$$$$ Make sure you read & fully understand Terms & Conditions. Trial pack arrived May 18, I then read welcome letter & terms & conditions. Phoned 1800 number, to close my account; I did not want anymore product or charges to my account. I agreed to pay the full amt for both trial products… Read more

$141.00 & $138.00, with proviso that i receive no more charges or product.

So, now end August, my bank account has been charged for the same products again, which I have not received yet.

I called customer service 1800 number today, my phone call to them in May 18 had not been recorded, so my request to close account had not been noted in their system or actioned. Effectively, my account was still alive. Should have emailed instead of ringing.

The customer service representative today advised, no refund and as per their terms & conditions, no guarantee that once I receive products, that I can return them for a credit either??? Have to wait up to 30 days for product to arrive before calling customer service again.

Feeling so scammed and deservedly so for not being more aware.

I asked for my Hydra Claire account to be closed today so no more product or "newsletters" (costing 0.62) are sent and deductions made from my bank account. (Just to be on safe side, changing my bank account. ) The customer service person re-assured me that she had made an entry in their system of my phone call with them today and closed my account.

If the company values their product, why is it necessary to impose such rigid T&C conditions or is it because they get enough from people such as myself. It's a real shame, as the Hydra Claire anti wrinkle serum was a good product, the Anti wrinkle cream too heavy in texture.

Learning to love character wrinkles!!

Don't spend your hard earned money on it. It's the biggest scam of all time and the cream is nothing – I expected to get a sample but was send the full jar of hydro cream and serum. I paid the first order because you have to be pretty fast to send it back after about a week. So I was billed for $ 280 which I paid, and wait for it the biggest scam of all time after a month they send me another lot $280 because I did not cancel it! You can not get… Read more

any awnser, they hide behind that you did the wrong thing by not cancelling the order! What is it with the (Shark tank) are they involved in this? If not let them deny any involvement with this scam by just reading the reviews. This is beyond the pail. I hope anybody who is thinking of taking up this offer will do so at their own peril.

Lucky to get my money back – I too was sucked into this scam. I purchased sample cream & serum total cost approx $10. Then found over $300 taken from my Visa a/c. I put a block on my Visa & immediately visited my local Westpac. They advised me to ring them & tell them Westpac would take the matter further. After I refused to negotiate they agreed to refund in full. I had to… Read more

False Advertising of trial – I ordered a Trial Bottle and ticked no to the second option but got charged the $4.97 regardless. At the time I thought nothing of it as it was such a small amount of money and figured it would be nice to try both products anyway. The order email stated the products can take 10-14 business days to arrive. On day 15 I noted two charges of $138… Read more

and $141 on my credit card statement and promptly phoned to advise I did not have the goods yet and wanted explanation on the charges. I was told it was too late as I had not contacted them within 14 days to say I didn't want the products and at that time the company would offer me a 25% refund on each amount charged - regardless of the fact I did not have the product.

That night, the products did arrive so I emailed promptly stating I wanted to return for a full refund.

The information sheet that arrives with the products states - you have 14 days from date of order to decide you don't want and have returned. So, I am still waiting to resolve this and get a refund as if it took 15 days to get to me I don't in fact get 14 days to trial the product and have to tell them before I receive the product that I don't want them!

So far I have been offered a 50% discount in exchange for keeping the products as I didn't inform them within 14 days I did not want. I am still waiting to resolve this.

Something very odd here and I would suggest unless you really want this product do not order online.

I can confirm I did receive my 50% refund but clearly I should have been entitled to 100% and to return the products. A most stressful experience.

Shark Tank Used to advertise this cream! – The cream and serum samples did not arrive as stated. I then went overseas for a month and found I was being billed money unexpectedly while I was away.
