Hydronics Australia
1 review
After waiting several months for my original white pressure washer to arrive, the unit turned up with the control panel installed upside down, a basic quality control failure that should never pass factory inspection. While Hydronics did offer a warranty replacement, the replacement arranged was in Graphite, not the White model I originally purchased. After months of waiting, being offered a different colour is not an equivalent replacement.
To make matters worse, there are also design frustrations with the unit itself that became apparent during use. The hose cannot be manually retracted you are forced to press the retract button and wait for the motor to slowly wind it back in. There is no option to assist or speed up the process manually, which becomes quite annoying in practice and feels unnecessarily restrictive.
When I requested either:
A proper replacement in the original colour, or
A partial refund to accept the different colour
I was advised white units were out of stock and I would need to wait again until mid-March.
The return process was also inconvenient, involving sourcing packaging or waiting for boxes to be sent, despite the issue being a factory defect.
Overall issues:
❌ Poor factory QA (upside-down control panel)
❌ Long wait times
❌ Replacement not matching original purchase
❌ No flexibility on compensation
❌ Inconvenient return process
❌ Design limitation — cannot manually retract hose
