Advertising non-existent airfares! – Subscribed to I Know The Pilot. They are currently advertising fares from Perth to KL on Batik Air for $292 AUD including 20 kg of checked luggage. This fare simply does NOT exist. All affiliated websites show fares with NO checked luggage. If you add 20kg of checked luggage in one direction, this adds $378 AUD to the fare!!!

Opodo - thieves and scammers – I purchased two return flights to New Zealand through Opodo. These flights were cancelled due to the Sydney lockdown which went for many months. We weren't allowed to leave 5kms, let alone fly to New Zealand. We also were not allowed into New Zealand for many months after the lockdown ended. Opodo were incredibly painful to deal with and make it impossible to get an answer. They would hang up on me. They would promise they would get back to me, and they never did. They blamed Air new Zealand and Qantas for not having information. They have wasted hours and hours of my life and stolen my money.
They make the process so incredibly hard to get a refund and use avoidance strategies so you just give up. I have spoken to people from all around the world (India, Egypt etc) when I try and call them.
They have taken my money and refuse to give it back. They are giant scammers.
I invite Opodo to refund my money to resolve this.

If I could put a Zero I would – I booked a flight from San Francisco to Sydney (one way) in February 2020 with I Know the Pilot and its associated agents. I have been attempting to cancel that flight for three months with the agent, they have not responded to any of my calls or emails. I then contacted I Know the Pilot as the agent is attached to their website. After one month of not hearing anything from I Know the Pilot, I followed up and was basically told that they can do nothing. This is COVID 19! I would not recommend I Know the Pilot to anyone as they cannot guarantee their agents are legitimate and not scammers and will not assist when things go wrong. Use a legitimate agency or direct airline booking. I have lost over $1200 AUD

Misleading and a total waste of time – I've just spent most of this afternoon grappling with this site, and it's affiliates. Great c'mon line...."Fly to Bali from $249 return......Click to find out more...." Opens new page and you see dates and fares lined up.....ok, find a suitable date and click the corresponding fare.....a calander pops up with dates and fares again....no matter what you do, you cannot replicate the fare that was shown in the first place....OK, it's $70 more per person, ....still cheap at $315 return.....I'll buy it for my wife and myself...suddenly, the page refreshes, the price you thought was for two tickets, becomes for one traveller only....$626 each!! Ok I tried this with several of the options, eDream, GoToGate, Skyscanner, Expedia.....they ALL changed and increased the prices when booking for two......Ok I'll play your silly game then....I have my PC set up with 4 monitors....so opening multiple browsers is no issue......1st browser, went to Expedia and filled out the fare for myself up until "commit to buy"......2nd browser, went to GoToGate and filled out the details for my missus, with passport and credit card details.....All ready to buy one after the other.....I click "BUY"......up pops a notice on GoToGate...your fare has increased!!! "Do you want to proceed or cancel?" Ok I understand the exchange rates are fluid, and the company selling these fares may NOT be in Australia, and probably deal in a overseas currency......by the way, this is never mentioned in an obvious fashion. I just think that businesses should be transparent, and honour their word. This site, and it's affiliated sites, hide too much detail...and we all know.....the Devil is in that detail!
