2 Halifax bookcases – We purchased two Halifax bookcases (this being our first large online purchase) and we can say this was a very good experience for us. The contact with the owner was always pleasant. The bookcases arrived on time. They were very well put together, and painted beautifully. We were very happy with our purchase from ‘I wanna go home’. The Hampton style of furniture they sell is so beautiful. Thank you so much.

Terrible and Never Again – I have given this business plenty of time approximately 6 months to rectify the problem and it’s clear that the owner does not care, so I feel sufficient time has passed that I can post the review I was holding off on. for next shipment. That was fine as we were building a house. We constantly had to chase them for updates and eventually we had a date for delivery in April 2019. They never showed up, they attempted delivery at an incorrect address, we were told we’d have to wait til they back our way. Mistake at their end. Eventually they arrive, only to be advised delivery service wouldn’t be assisting with putting units together despite verbal advice to the contrary when placing order. But the real issue is the total poor quality of the units, badly finished, one door doesn’t even shut, was so disappointed. Contacted owner Peter advised I was unhappy, could not give good feedback, sent pictures and waited for response. Peter put forward a proposal in April 2019, would order 2 more to replace again this would take time, July. I was again chasing for updates, they were never going out of there way to get it sorted, last correspondence was an email on 22 August 2019 saying units were in, he would inspect units on 31 August when back in Australia prior to shipping to me on 4 September 2019, took pictures of boxes and never heard from them again. Fair to say they were never going to follow through and I got tired of chasing. Shame as I have a home that I would love to have filled with more of their pieces. My honest opinion is don’t do it, buy better and buy elsewhere.

I'm very happy with the product and packaging was great as I have previously have bad experiences with other companies when buying furniture online. Sturdy piece of solid wood furniture that looks lovely in my lounge.
