Ikea Hovag Medium Firm King

Terrible mattress – Started sagging within months, got rid after 2 years, caused me SO much back/hip/shoulder/neck pain. Ikea refunded me ater inspecting it. I now have a different mattress and sleeping pain free again DONT BUY IT

Sacked three times after a month! – This is the worst mattress we've ever had. We bought it on special in the king size, two people, both weigh around 60kg. We've had it for around 3 months when our back started to hurt terribly and the mattress had started sacking. Ikea left us absolutely no option despite it being under warranty, they said we can't replace to a new Hovag as we bought the faulty one on special, so have to pay the difference or downgrade.

We had a second bedframe in queen size so got the queen size hovag as replacement to not having to pay the difference. The queen size WAS WORSE! three weeks in the back pain started and the mattress is sacked, now it's so bad you can't even sit on it without literally feeling the dents and where it's sacked. We will never buy a mattress from Ikea again!

The mattress has been very durable in my past two years of ownership as i have never had a problem or issue with its ability to perform its intended purpose. The support that the mattress provides allows you to feel as if you are sinking into a bed of the most comfortable pillows, this mattress has also improved the condition of my back that was caused by previous mattresses.
