First impression: the consistency is rich and creamy. It has that dense, nourishing texture that immediately tells you it’s going to deeply condition the hair. You can see in the photos how smooth and buttery the formula looks — it’s not watery or diluted.

but no full hair loss yet. It takes forever to do my legs as any device would and it is slightly frustrating that you can only use it plugged in, but that’s also understandable.
I had a goal to get hairless in a year so there is no rush if it takes a while.

I ordered this hair mask on the 4th March 2026 and as of today 30 March 2026 I still have not received it or a refund. They have just sent me another message saying if I dont received it by 5 April 2026 they will look into refunding me. Thats a month later! But an earlier message they said that they had filed a claim for the refund and that was 19 March 2026.
Do not put this rubbish iluumi hair mask on your hair and on your scalp.! It took me half a bottle of shampoo and two hours in the shower getting this absolute oily crap out of my hair! My hair became brittle a lot of it has snapped off after leaving it in for only 25 minutes. After blow drying my hair I knew I couldn't go out or even go to bed… Read more

corrected them. They even called replacing their faulty product a “gesture of goodwill.”
Under NZ Consumer Law, a replacement for a faulty product within 90 days is not goodwill — it’s their legal obligation, including covering return shipping. Despite this, I’m still trying to return the device, and now they want me to pay for shipping and just do me a refund.
Their product is unreliable, and their service is horrendous. Based on my experience, they are failing to meet their obligations under New Zealand consumer law.

I recently bought this! I’m a swim teacher and my hair used to feel crispy and very dry changing to iluumi has been a game changer. it’s really helped my hair to feel soft, shiny and amazing! I bought the Iluumi Classic in White/Gold in July 2025. It's so easy to use and it actually works. I use it straight after shaving/epilating. My hair regrowth is noticeably slower and more sparse. I don't even use it weekly. I've had no negative skin reactions or side effects. Bonus, it's a third of the cost of some other brands. I absolutely recommend this product. Show reply
