Wish I had this for my first baby – I’ve had this car seat since birth for my second child, I wish I had it for my first. It’s so easy to get him in and out. The capsule swiftly unclips and clips back ib, is the latest technology, so much lighter weight to carry than my old one. It’s compact but super safe. I love the look as well. Great seat, not as versatile as promised – I purchased these capsules while expecting my twins, as i had a toddler i wanted something easy, light, convenient to get them in and out of the car with a very energetic, impatient (runner) toddler. arrived, i could not get the bottom adapters to work. I reached out to the retailer i purchased from (which were amazing helping me), to be told infa did not have it listed as compatible on their site anymore, and more so, if i used the capsules with my said pram and adapters, i would not be covered under warranty for any mishaps! This has made my experience so negative and so much more stressful and defeated the purpose of why i wanted these capsules. I now have 2 capsules which i cant click into my pram, an unhappy toddler, further seats to attach to my pram (so i have a total of extra two seats, bassinet, and a co-rider i have to keep in my boot). Also, the very first time i opened the hood to use the shade cover, the button attachment flew off. Infa were great to deal with and replaced the hood but considering the price tag, i wouldve imagined better quality. I now am shopping for a pram to possibly use which is another added expense.
Apart from the above, i also find it extremely difficult to buckle my small preemie twins with the buckle in the newborn 'small baby' adjustment with the newborn insert. This led to two very unhappy babies and very visible marks on their little legs with straps that did not allow to go over their legs. Im not sure if this is a design flaw but as a result ive had to remove the insert, which means they arnt as snug now.
All in all, the materials great, quality (apart from hood button and buckle) is great. It is light and easy to carry.
Difficult to release – It’s great in concept, however the release buttons to remove the capsule from the pram are EXTREMELY hard to push. I cannot get it off the adapters at all, even my strong partner struggles. The only way I can remove it from the pram is by removing the adapters with it and using it that way. Wouldn’t recommend.
So easy! Love this product – The Adapt More Capsule has been the biggest help we could ask for! Not having to adjust the tether strap each time we need to get our little one out of the car, has made mine and my partners lives that much easier.
