ordinary fan uses as the unit is actually designed to be on 24 hours per day but i use it mainly at night. It has 4 speeds and I use speed 2 for 1-2 hours before bed and for 8 hours on speed 1 and its very quiet, yes i recommend this purifier.

The filter is also very economical in terms of energy consumption so you can leave it running without any issues. I change the pre-filters every six months on average depending on use. Very soon it will need a change of the HEPA filter. Since when I started using this filter my respiratory and allergic problems improves, so it definitely affects the quality of air.

Don’t buy gimmicky units - this is what you need – The big retailers sell units with fancy displays, phone apps and funky colours. multiple disabilities and his life was being made a misery by allergies and night. Itchy eyes, sneezing, trouble breathing. We vacuumed his room daily including the bedding and curtains but nothing helped. The first night with the E8 was life-changing. He slept peacefully with no allergies. When you walk into the room you can feel the change in air quality.

The filters are big and last for ages. The pre-filter is 3-6 months but they HEPA and Carbon filters last for years.

The E8 isn’t too heavy and can be moved from room to room on its wheels or carried up stairs. It has a nice simple look and solid dial instead of an electronic touch pad.

This size is suitable for 25m2 so it’s good for a bedroom, study etc. You need to be able to close off doors so it won’t be effective in a larger open-plan area.

Inovair supply to hospitals, GP surgeries and commercially so due to demand you might have to wait a few weeks for your unit.

3. Bathroom (i.e. toilet) - the torture test - few minutes on high after a good curry night and the air was safe again (wife's judgement).

4. General use in the house - leaving it on medium when we go out and come back to a smell of nothing.

5. We use it often in the bedroom to remove any air-born nasties, and it (we) feels much better when waking in the morning - on low all night . Coughing due to stuff in the air dramatically reduced.

I guess that sums it up well - use it and it eliminates all odours we've tried it with. Can't ask for more! it's not the prettiest (air purifier) appliance and it is a little larger than some...but effective, and locally made!

exceptionally as we live by a very busy road and the difference in before and after is amazing.- It’s been running continuously for a few years with absolutely no problems. Most importantly my sons condition has improved immensely and beyond what we could have imagined. Just to add, being local has made it so easy when I have had a query and I’m able to just message or call and given prompt and friendly customer service.

A good unit but filter setup poor – Recently purchased and find it to be a solid good unit that filters the air well. But after only 2 months of use in bedroom the outer filter needs replacing which is ridiculous. I suggest the outer filter be washable or able to be vacuumed. Show details

where the factory was, and paid a visit. It really did sound too good to be true! However, we purchased it there and then. I mostly use it in the bedroom, and occasionally in the living room. The filters are super-easy to clean and don't need changing often, and my long-standing health problems have all but disappeared! It's a breeze to move to other rooms also. No mould in the cupboards any more (was a huge problem living near the water on the Central Coast). Am thrilled with it!

January 2020 on the south coast of NSW. It worked brilliantly to rapidly remove smoke and fumes that had lingered for weeks in the valleys around her home! The unit is whisper quiet on the lowest setting. I highly recommend this product.

throat-scratchy, can’t-breathy smoke. Woke up around 3am thinking “oh good...the smoke has passed.” Opened the bedroom door. Nope - worse than before. But the bedroom was pure as Himalayan mountain air. This thing WORKS. Worth every dollar!

One good feature of the E8 model is that it is easy to move around to where you need it. But the main reason I am leaving the review is that it is excellent for removing fine particulate and the smell associated with smoke. To deal with the smoke risk I was previously using a reverse air conditioner on recirculate and a Dyson purifier but being an engineer I wanted to test the fine particulate measures using an air quality measurement tool and found that I was still exposing my family to dangerous fine particulate. That is when I decided to purchase a proper air purifier and after extensively researching the market I purchased the E8 and couldn’t be happier because it has reduced the level of fine particulate to a safe level and removed the smell as well. Also as an engineer I am very impressed with the design and build quality, not too often these days to get a product manufactured in Australia.

I seriously wish I bought it earlier! – The E8 is easy to use. Improved my breathing/hayfever symptoms. Easy to put together. Saw improvement throughout the house overnight. Found improvement after a couple of hrs of it being on at full. It is a bit loud but no louder than the ducted air conditioning. Tip to prospective buyers – read and understand well what your needs are well before purchasing. Beware health websites that advertise similar products – they may be a Sponsor, not necessarily the best product (we discovered this by accident). Compare specifications carefully and match it to what you need not what someone else has recommended – their health needs may differ extensively from your own. You may have to pay a little more but in one case an expensive product turned out to offer much less, once we compared specs.

purifying the air. Our respiratory health has increased since using these air purifiers. We run it on the highest speed when we are at home, and turn it down to the lowest speed at night so it's quiet enough to be able to sleep with it running.

Make sure you run this product with all your windows and doors closed (otherwise it's wasting it's time and your money).

Highly recommend InovaAir, they are a great company to deal with and are experts in air purifiers.

Great product – We actually purchased the E8 model with additional 2.5kg activated carbon filter. Great air purifier! This has helped with improving quality of sleep at night and my allergies overall have improved. Its also removed the dreaded musty odour from the bedroom when it was closed up.
