Saved the new pine deck – I built a new treated pine deck and an awning. All I can imagine is the deck got covered in iron fillings from me using a grinder to cut some sheets. We had one wet night and next day my heart sunk. The entire deck looked like it was covered in mould spots.. I used this product as per instructions 1/4 and I was disappointed. Next I went 1/1 and what a difference omfg it all looks like new.. 100% happy with results... Show reply

Never ending suds fest! – Use the suggested ratio of mixture to water and I wasted a long time rinsing this stuff off. My time could have been served better than simply rinsing and re-rinsing this product off the timber. It was beyond a joke.

Revival on poor deck – Used this Riviva for a customers deck clean. Some areas cleaned up really easy others required a long hard blast to remove/clean. Will be doing a second clean to ensure best result....possibly don’t need it but rather do a second clean and be happy with final result than not do a second clean and be sort of happy. Will be interesting to see how this cleans on the newer deck I have to do. Show details

Hurrah! What an effective product! – After coating a new deck in a disastrous product a year ago and watching it flake and turn orange and grey, I used Reviva as the final step after stripping, sanding and washing the deck. My goodness, the wood looks wonderful and I’ll be giving it a day or two in the hot weather to dry out properly and then using an Intergrain oil. Easy to use, worked a colour change while I watched! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Phew!  Show reply

Cleaned deck as prescribed – I chose to apply this to the deck, all 200m2 of it, in 22 degrees, shade, as recommended. I left it on for 15mins, did not allow it to dry, and washed it off with the pressure hose (Gerni). As the deck has dried, the first is gone, and the areas that were less well prepared from the last clean/seal 2 years ago are now stripped back to near new. … Read more ·  1

The proof will be when I apply 2 coats of Intergrain Ultradeck tomorrow.

Summary: follow the instructions, and it does what you want.

Absolute rubbish – 4 litres of this stuff was almost $60. It was a complete waste of money. Applied to the deck (merbau, 12 months old) as per instructions and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever. Only a pressure cleaner would shift the grime on the deck. You'd be better off buying a bottle of washing up liquid.

Don't waste your money! – Used on a deck exactly as per instructions. Almost no improvement. Second time I halved the water, timber that was in reasonable condition improved a little, anything with slight mold or algae didn't change. A very disappointing result from an expensive product.

Cleaned the deck well – Ive tried other cleaning products and none of them worked like this one, it really did the job, I used wet look oil after the clean and my deck looks awesome again  Show reply

A waste of money that does not restore timber visually at least – I used the product to the exact directions, there is NO visual difference to the timber - I cleaned half the deck and left half for comparison. On contacting Intergrain I was told that there wont necessarily be a visual difference but it is a deep clean - well a good detergent will provide a deep clean at a fraction of the cost. In my opinion this… Read more

product is simply a very expensive detergent. Undiluted it is a nice colour It didn't do what it is claimed to do - and yes, I applied as directed.
