Invisible Zinc Face & Body Sunscreen SPF50

probably the worst sunscreen I've tried – Nothing like the name claims I bought it for half price yesterday, used it once, never using again - Sticky, greasy, and leaves your skin white, feels like covering yourself in a thin layer of grease paint - it bunches up in the creases of your skin: under the eyes, around the nose, under the lip on your chin. - any part of your face that… Read more
gets a little dry it will make look flaky and white.
- It transfers to whatever your skin touches (e.g. pants belt, car seat) spent about 10mins trying to rub it in to no benefit
Invisible zinc – Have used the face and body and tinted face suncream products They both prevent sunburn but turned sin yellow so look like a Simpson! Won't be using again Show details
Great product for high uv protection – Purchased this sunscreen for using in summer cricket and swim season, it really Protect the skin from any sunburn and damage… does leave white cast on face( not invisible as the name suggests) so not suitable for use under any makeup. Having said that, I would choose this any day over sunburn. We use it every we go to the beach or outdoor sports in summer. Repurchased again this summer. Show details
UNUSABLE – I purchased Inova Pharmaceuticals "150g cream Invisible Zink Face + Body Sunscreen SPF50", from a supermarket, on special for $24.00. I only used a light coating of it on my face. After a few purposeful face washes - I still had a slight chalky hue to my skin. I have used other brands of invisible zinc previously which when applied has given a… Read more
white appearance but which has soon dissipated. I sent two memos to "Inova" in relation to their product - neither of which has been replied to. Unless you don't mind scrubbing your face raw, and risk blocking the pores of your skin - stay clear of this product. In view of Inova's lack of response to my memo's they have lost a customer with me.
Yellow skin! – It sounds like I'm the first to have this reaction to this product. Please let us know if others have experienced this too. 'Invisible' zinc turned my skin yellow, as if I had dipped my arms in yellow dye (and face, and legs!). I have used another zinc product (different brand) with no reactions so thought I would be fine with this one. I wish I… Read more
had done a test patch!
No actual irritation, but I felt embarrassed as I didn't realise until I was out with others. It looked like a really bad, blotchy fake tan and needed a good scrub with soap to get it off. Some yellow still remained. My partner tried this product too, and it was invisible on him. There is a warning on the tube that "This product may leave a white cast on certain skin types". I could live with white, but yellow was awful!
This stuff is like spreading nappy cream on your face – I stupidly went on a bike tour and took this as my only sunscreen without testing it. It was like spreading nappy rash cream on my face and body: white, occlusive, and sticky. Dirt stuck to it like glue and it left my legs brown with dust and made it very difficult to reapply. The only good thing is I got some cuts and knew nappy rash cream… Read more
wouldn’t irritate them. To call it invisizinc is definitely false advertising. I wanted to swap to physical sunblock. After this I am looking for newer formulation chemical sunscreens as this is just a deterrent to using sunblock it’s so unpleasant to use
white face like japanese geisha – leaves too much of white cast for face n too thick to spread all over. I looked like Japanese geisha with such a white face. it probably dies a good job protecting the skin from sun but it's too white to go out like this. Show details
