Ionmax Breeze ION420

Too bright! – Very happy with the unit, nice and quiet but the indicator lights are just so bright. We like to keep our room dark, so I've had to resort to putting electrical tape over all the lights (which is a pain with buttons and knowing what setting it's on), and also gaps between where the pieces are screwed together because it's beaming from everywhere. We have other brand units which allow you to turn off the obnoxious lights. Show details ·  1

Good and reliable – Used for a number of year. Good and reliable air purifier. Just hope the ioniser can be relocated at the pre-filter compartment in the future design, which will increase it filtration effectiveness even more. Show reply

Good value – Good value and does its job. I bought this when I was housesitting for a person with a cat and dog. It really helped to reduce the heaviness in the air and odours. Works better in a bedroom rather than in an open living space. It had a small issue where it didn't seem to turn on sometimes, but if you just press the front of the machine in, it turns on without any issues. Great Air Purifier for a good price – We have been enjoying our Ionmax Breeze ION420 air purifier for awhile now. It's quiet, has low, medium and high fan settings and makes a difference in the air quality of our bedroom. Very good product and i have recommended to friends and family – One of the few air purifiers that offer 5 stage filtration. Seen this in use at hospitals and felt that was a good start. Useful bedside air filter – Works well, quiet on speed 1 but can be noisy on speed 3. Seeing a layer of dust on filter after one month use is pretty satisfying. Show details ·  1

Unpleasant smell – From the moment I turned the unit on it has given off an unpleasant odour in the air. I have tried it with the ion and UV switch off and actually without the filter momentarily, but the smell is just inside the unit itself. I ran it for a day but the smell remained. actually pollutes the air!! Not happy.

The other problem is that the control buttons are not raised or lit, so you have to turn on your room light at night if you want to adjust it.

Otherwise it runs very quietly and looks stylish. Pity it fails in it's primary purpose!

Excellent – Good service quick delivery

Very good product and good service too – So I have two air filters from Andatech now ... and I find them both to be superb. I have had one for over a year now .. and its still effectively .. silent on its lowest mode. These products are very good value considering the UV sterilization light that each has, which IMO sets them a step above the others air filters I could find on the market. I'd recommend these products with ease - cheers

Every Night – Not sure if its doing anything. Filter still looks absolutely clean after several months. The ioniser doesn't leave the tell tale black marks around it. I still get a blocked nose most nights And often sneeze in the mornings.

Excellent air purifier and easy to clean – Freshens the air quickly, removing cooking and laundry smells. Removes particles from the air leaving the air visibly clearer. Filter is easily cleaned with a vacuum.

you have it running for considerable periods each day. It is also very cheap to run so you won't spend too much on electricity.

We use the air purifier in the living room kitchen area and when it is running you can hardly notice it. It comes with a speed control, very easy to use timer setting and a Negative Ioniser.

Being completely honest I don't really know how the Negative Ioniser works but I am sure it does a great job.

The Ionmax is also incredibly easy to clean and the first layer of dust cover just needs to be pulled out and rinsed under the kitchen tap.

This was the first air purifier I bought and before I made the purchase I decided to go with a cheaper model because I thought if it breaks down, is noisy or simple does nothing I wouldn't have lost too much money. That said, I couldn't be happier with the purchase and I imagine I will be still using the Ionmax in 20 years time.

Going great! – The Ionmax is great. Removes the smoke and smell. Helps my asthma. I can gently vacuum the filter. All directions easy to follow. I haven’t needed to change the filter. Show details
