message about this and they have not responded. I initially sent my request to the American company and they responded immediately. When I sent them the photo with the package and the filter, showing the size difference, they highlighted that the j series is not the combo j series. At the very least this allowed me to buy the correct size because without that confidence I could get the wrong product again and be stuck in a cycle of trying to get them to respond. I don't know why iRobot don't find a different partner to sell their products.
The item itself (a bathroom heater) worked well enough for a while but then had a detached wire and stopped working. My sparky didn't know how to fix it. Was 1 month out of warranty so contacted IXL about how to fix it and never got a reply - steer clear if you want customer service - there is none.
Ruin the iRobot experience for Australian customers – Unfortunately, IXL handles support for iRobot products in Australia. I had an iRobot robot which broke within a few weeks, and IXL ignored me for 4 months. Almost two years later, we're having issues again and so far it's been around 5 months with no response despite a few follow-ups.
IXL Original Exhaust Fan warranty service stings – I purchased two units of IXL Original exhaust fans about 6 months ago. One electric switch got jammed up and rendering one set of heater not functioning. I contacted IXL about 9 working days ago with proof of purchase plus a video showing the fault, requesting a replacement switch. No response as of today, not even an acknowledgement. This is atrocious warranty service. Product QC also poor.
