I recently ordered a light fitting that upon receipt I realised was too large for the kitchen. The returns policy was extremely easy and straight forward. I did encounter a technical error which was responded to in 24 hours and rectified. The refund into my account was well beyond my expectations and hit my account before I eve. Received an email from the customer service team. I would definitely order again and recommend to family and friends as even though the product was too large for the kitchen it was excellent quality and the customer service was first class

quiet and fabulous fans
I bought the Martec Scorpion fans from the Lighting Illusions website. They arrived quickly and once installed I was extremely impressed by how quiet and effective these overhead fans are. They have a DC power supply which although I don't know what this means, apparently it makes it a quieter motor. I couldn't agree more. On the low settings you can't hear a thing and there is a lovely feeling of air drifting like a whisper over your skin. What a lovely product. It also has a generous warranty whereby if something happens to it they actually send out an electrician to fix it in my home.
They provided an excellent service with a new project I'm on. Their team leader was so helpful regarding advice and with a hands on approach. I definitely recommend there professionalism and services.

The absolute favorite in my order of fans, outdoor lights and exhaust fans was the Eagle XL fan. It is stunningly beautiful and does a wonderful job in keeping me cool!
quiet and efficient
easy installation when replacing existing. found plenty of air flow without hitting top speed. one fan did have a slight electrical resonance but seems to have died down. can't fault product or the price and the quick despatch time.

I purchased one initially on the advice of a friend in NZ and that it was so quiet and efficient I have now purchased this is for our second bedroom. Purchased it online, had it sent to my daughters place and she is brining it to NZ for my Christmas.
Not in time for xmadd
Ordered 29/11. Lamp was meant to be dispatched in 1 to 3 days according to emails.
Dispatched 16/12 with 6 to 8 business day delivery time meaning it won't make it for xmass.
When I contact the staff they only offered to cancel the order. Express postage should be at their expense when they are that late.
Wont order from again.
Poor service on faulty goods
The electrician discovered that the wall controller was faulty after the fan was installed. In order to save the cost of recalling the electrician I had him replace the faulty part at my cost. Lighting Illusions refunded me a small amount for the part which was obviously far less than the part plus installation.
I have since contacted consumer affairs and the supplier does have a responsibility to rectify the installation, and despite the attempts to duck shove onto the manufacturer, I was assured that, under consumer law, it is the responsibility of the supplier to deal with such issues.

FANtastic to Deal With
I purchased a ceiling fan from them online however upon ordering, we learned that we actually could not use it. The customer service from Lighting Illusions during the returns process was fantastic. Whilst I can't comment on the quality of the product - I would be more than happy to deal with them again due to their now uncommon customer service levels :)
The best lighting store in Brisbane
I have visited numerous lighting stores in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast looking for light fittings for my new house. No-one had the range of fittings on display as Lighting Illusions at MacGregor, and it is important to be able to see the size of light fittings before deciding to buy them. I have always had helpful staff to deal with, especially Leanne, who goes out of her way to try to provide you with exactly what you want. It has been refreshing that the store have been prepared to change some of my fittings and bulbs when I have changed my mind. Light fittings can be very expensive and the staff at the MacGregor store have ensured that I have been happy with the fittings purchased.

I recently placed an order for 8 ceiling fans with lights and remotes. I paid in full for the products of almost $1500 which by price was ok but not terrific and only arrived at this after numerous emails back and forth. They failed to inform the fans I was after were not in stock but gladly took my money??? It is now going to be 2 weeks until I receive the fans for which I may not have a long time to use until maybe next year. Terrible service and rude emails after my complaint.
I will spend the other large amount of money somewhere else for the next order of fans and lights.
