after several attempts to contact the company through emails (most of which were ignored), I had to take the matter to QCAT (Consumer Tribunal). After that, I finally received a response and was instructed to return the fan for a refund.

It’s now late January 2025, and I still haven’t received my refund. Despite multiple follow-up emails demanding my money back, Jd Lighting has continued to ignore me. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and shows their lack of accountability.

I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company. I am now planning to escalate my complaint to the Fraud and Tax Office to investigate their dodgy practices. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for reliable service and products.

Would I buy them again? Yes. I plan on building in the future and will be installing them in every bedroom and living space.

Full access through the app if your into that. Links up easily to google home as well. So on them hot days switch them on before your drive home and have that breeze hit you in the face once you open the door!!

They run quite at night. Have the capability of moving lots of air when required and are efficient to run also.

One last point. If it’s for the long hall in your own home. Before you decide not to purchase one, what ever the reason. Look at the one you are going to buy and compare the running cost and how much air it can push. For me personally I’ll always compromise on the price when it comes down to getting the best quality, efficiency and latest tec in the market.

It's now Tuesday and the Australia Post tracking is showing that the goods are still in Chullora .Australia Post haven't even got the parcel yet from what i can see . I tried to ring and got an automated message asking me to email . I've sent 2 polite emails and no reply . Please Liquid LED, spare me the reply saying we apologise for the inconvenience BLAH BLAH BLAH . From reading the reviews this a common occurrence . No accountability once they have your money. build an extension and didn’t reinstall it properly ( that builder story is a whole lotta another story) I have rung Solatube and asked for it to be repaired, some one came was going to send me a quote…never got the quote, it happened again 3 years later I’ll send you a quote….never got the quote. I rang head office, if he can’t come and fix it just tell me how to get the parts and we’ll fix it our selves….3 weeks later no phone call back from head office. So Solatube, you win after 4 years of trying to get one fixed or replaced I’m off to get a solar powered skylight that I have in other areas in the house and it’s being replaced which will probably take 15 mis to install. Thanks for nothing. Solatube- Great if you want to buy one, just NEVER ask for after market service.
