just recently in my living room ahead of the upcoming summer months. Wow what a difference these make! The bedroom one makes sleeping in the warmer months so much more comfortable. The remote easily allows you not only to vary the speed, operate or change the intensity and warmness or coolness of the light, but also to set a timer so you can fall asleep with the fan running and have it switch off during the night after whatever number of hours you select. It is virtually silent so will not disturb your sleep. The one I had recently installed in the living room, this past couple of night have been chilly so I decided to test out the ‘winter mode’ where the fan reverses direction to push warm air gently back down into the room. I was surprised at how pleasant and effective that setting is. I would definitely recommend the Fanco fans to anybody looking to install ceiling fans in their homes or elsewhere. The seem well made, look stylish, are easy to operate and make barely a sound.

the time of purchase, I was told by the staff that globes would cost $10 each when purchased with the pendant lights. I purchased one globe and specifically mentioned that I might come back later to purchase more if needed.

Today, I returned to the store to purchase another globe. I was then told that the $10 price only applied to the particular globe that they normally sell with the pendant, which was never explained to me when I made my original purchase.

I tried to calmly clarify the misunderstanding with the staff, but another staff member intervened and began speaking to me in a very loud and, in my view, rude manner. I asked him to lower his voice because I felt his manner was unnecessarily aggressive.

He then told me that the globe price was firm and suggested that I was getting annoyed simply because the store wouldn't discount the globe. I explained that this was not about the $10. I had already spent more than $200 at the store, and my concern was that I had been given information at the time of purchase that was different from what I was being told today.

I took out my phone to record the interaction because of the way he was speaking to me. Before I could even start recording, he told me that if I put the video on social media, he would “come after me.” I found this statement extremely intimidating and concerning.

I am considering reporting the incident to the police and seeking appropriate legal advice regarding the threat made to me.

This review is not about a $10 globe. It is about clear communication, how customers are treated, and what I felt was an intimidating response when I raised a legitimate concern about information I had been given at the time of purchase.

Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that customers clarify all pricing and conditions before making a purchase, particularly if relying on information provided verbally by staff.

Expecting I have no light in the bathroom, a hole in the ceiling in the middle of winter and get an electrician out twice to remove it then back to reinstall it. Ludicrous. A bit of false advertising I have experienced. What is pictured on the website is not what I received. Colour was totally different to pictures advertised, so was the shape and the fact it doesn’t sit flush like in the pictures.

We purchased 3 x Solar whiz BAL40 residential units each with day/night operations and hygrostat & thermostat kits prewired. We didn't require the solar panels as we already have solar installed on the house so this saved us money.

Arne is very honest and was quick to respond to our enquiries. Arne even found a cheaper freight option than sending to our home address and dispatched them quickly so the roofing team could install them whilst reroofing our home. much appreciated!!!
