Terrible warranty support. Jabra Evolve 2 75 headphones durability issue. First fault was a dead microphone after 18 months of conference calls, a few every week. I should have called it in for warranty exchange at the time, but thought I can just reuse them for music listening in noisy house. Then the noise cancellation feature failed at 2 years… Read more
3 months! Called Support immediately for Warranty Claim and was denied for being 3 months over. No discretion/flexibility shown to provide a replacement or repair given the first fault was under 2 years. Was given a 30% off coupon to buy a replacement pair for $468. I expect much better durability for a product that retails for $669!
Don't fall for the 100-day money-back guarantee; it's a trap with very poor customer service – Don't fall for the 100-day money-back guarantee; it's a trap with very poor customer service. It appears to be an overseas service with no idea what they're doing. I bought earbuds from Jabra directly, attracted by their advertised 100-day money-back guarantee. However, returning them is nearly impossible. You have to email them and wait for a… Read more
return receipt, and the only way to return them is by dropping them off at a UPS location, which is only in Tullamarine, Melbourne. This means you might have to drive 100 km or more just to drop them off, costing more than the earbuds themselves. It feels like a scam to avoid returns
Elite 8 Active – I made a purchase of the Elite 8 Active from "Jabra" approximately a week ago, but unfortunately, I have encountered several issues with its functionality. Primarily, I have been facing difficulties in establishing a stable Bluetooth connection with my mobile phone. In order to successfully connect, I have to repeatedly turn the device on and off.… Read more
Moreover, after a mere few minutes of usage, the audio quality of the left-hand headphone gradually diminishes until it completely ceases to function. Additionally, I find that the earbuds frequently dislodge from my ear with minimal movement, causing inconvenience. Furthermore, the battery life is disappointingly short-lived, lasting only three hours before requiring a recharge. Considering the significant amount of $329 that I invested in this product, I am deeply dissatisfied and regretful. Consequently, I strongly advise against purchasing any products from "Jabra."
No spares available – Jabra.com.au has no spare parts for my Elite 7 Active ear buds, the charging case has failed, not the buds, and for over a year they have said they have no stock. So clearly they do not back up thier products. Show details
Dreadfully disappointed at Jabra earbuds – I'm a very strong supporter of Jabra but their earbuds have consistently failed me. Put simply, telephone calls made using either the the Elite Pro Active 7 or the Active are barely audible to the other person. It's clearly me. Mind you the 85H heafphones work brilliantly, but the earbuds? Tragically, a complete loss. Like i said, it's me, not Jabra. None of the newer earbuds work on phone calls.
Jabra Elite75 pro warranty claim – I had a set of 75 elite pro ear buds for 18 months when the sound almost disappeared completely from both buds. The online technology trouble shooting support was fantastic and fast. After completing the trouble shooting process, it was determined that it was a faulty product and unrepairable. Jabra approved a replacement product and I didn't have… Read more
to post the broken pair back. They stopped making the the 75T so they upgraded me to the Jabra elite pro 7. The whole process from start to finish was appropriately 4 weeks (including postage to my rural location from Hong Kong) and communication updates between Jabra and myself were incredible, often receiving replies within 24hrs. This is the best customer service I've received from any company for any product regarding a warranty issue. Well done Jabra!
Fair product backed by less than acceptable support – I've had 2 of this model of headset. I purchased the first pair on the back of the review in RTINGS.COM. I do a fair bit of walking and what appealed to me was the advanced microphones built around making and taking phone calls in noisy and windy environments. On that level the Jabra's are fantastic. These headphones, built on Jabra's pedigree… Read more
of making office headsets, make the experience of talking a pleasure.
Build quality is up in the air for me. I needed to replace my first pair after around 9 months when they developed a scratchy sound if I put the headsets into Noise Cancelling or Hear Through Mode. Given it didn't do it in standard hearing mode, I guess one of the microphones used for noise cancelling and hear through failed. Given the positive experience I'd had despite this, I chose to purchase the same again.
I should also mention, I use Siri often to make calls and have configured the Call Announce feature in iOS so that when I'm out walking, the phone will tell me who is calling if they are in my address books. This also worked seamlessly in iOS13. Then I upgraded to iOS14 early and that's where my problem with Jabra support started. After upgrading (I acknowledge, totally not my choice and not Jabra's problem) the volume of the Call Announce was so low it was impossible to hear the name of the incoming caller. Nothing will fix it and even if I increase the volume, it reverts to the very low volume setting on the next call.
I contacted Jabra support to see if there was something I was missing and also to bring the problem to their attention. I didn't expect to get a result immediately but I was sufficiently disappointed with their approach to prompt me to write this review. In saying that, I guess the review is aimed at Jabra Support as well as the headphones.
I genuinely believe Apple have got something wrong so far in iOS14 that causes this problem. Interestingly a set of wired apple headphones announces calls just fine, the volume being at the same level as the volume when listening to music or any other Siri announcements.
Jabra's approach was to tell me that the Call Announce feature was not available in the model of headset I had purchased. Their initial response "That name readout feature is provided by a Bluetooth profile named PBAP and the Jabra Elite 65e does not support this profile."
The next few email exchanges were me trying to explain to them that the feature I used was definitely supported and had nothing to do with the Bluetooth profile named PBAP. It took them a few times to acknowledge that the advice they had given was incorrect and that it was a feature in iOS that provide the call announce service. After acknowledging, they simply closed the call. It was as if I had embarrassed them by proving to them that their initial (and ongoing for some time) responses were an attempt to fob me off.
There was no suggestion that they would investigate the issue (now that they had understood it) and nor was there a suggestion that they would follow up with Apple. So even though they referred to themselves as "Jabra Support" it was anything but support. A poor experience to say the least. Sadly for Jabra, it's likely to impact my choice in future and I doubt any Jabra product will be at the top of my list for my next headphones.
Order did not arrive and Jabra does not care at all – I ordered a Jabra Elite Active 75t over a fortnight ago. The website and online shop makes a visitor/customer believe to purchase from an Australian based business shipping from within Australia. Once the shipping tracking (via UPS) information came in it became clear that the order has been shipped from Hong Kong instead domestically. The… Read more
tracking has not been updated since 8 days and the order appears to be stuck or lost somewhere within UPS. Several inquiries with Jabra Australia to take action and investigate remain unanswered. Jabra Australia don't give a damn about me as a customer and the whereabouts of this order. They mislead a customer into thinking that shipping is from Australia on the website and don't care if an order never arrives. I can only recommend NOT to purchase from Jabra Australia.
After Sales Service – The product was purchased from DELL. I received the product with a broken leg. Contacted the After Sales Service and had to answer a number of questions, like serial number, model etc. Submitted a photo of the damage and asked just to send me an replacement leg. Very friendly person. After I did answer all his questions was asked for my invoice. I… Read more
did sent a copy of the proof of purchase. Than I was told: "In order to strengthen our services we are requiring that customers needing warranty replacements, use our Jabra ServiceNet online tool ". This was after I had e-mail correspondence for a week. • Sign up and register • Check warranty status of your product using warranty checker • Get an RMA Number assigned for your order • Ship your headset and base only (no accessories or cables) to us with the RMA number and instructions sent to you after the order was completed • Receive an email notification with your RMA number and instructions • Receive an email notification of when your replacement order ships with the tracking information." I signed up and registered. Never got an RMA number and gave up. The conclusion: This is how a company avoids any warranty claim.
