We recently had our in-ground pool completed by Jade Pools, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, the whole team—and every trade involved—were exceptional. Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail made the process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. The quality of… Read more
workmanship is outstanding, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. Every aspect of the build reflects a high standard, and the finished product has exceeded our expectations.
We genuinely cannot fault the process, the quality, or the end result. We would highly recommend Jade Pools to anyone looking to build a pool for their home.
A jewell in the crown by Jade Pools – Not only Jade pools built our dream resort style pool 14 years ago, the pool has been published in international Pool Side magazine, the pool is nestled in award winning gardens. Together Matt's team and us had a vision which exceeded the final execution of the project having created a unique lifestyle which we enjoy daily since! Thank you Jade pools! Show details

a beautiful pool – We went with Jade pools and they were excellent , the site the pool was being built on was difficult and we came across problems. 1) the site being on landfill which required extra peirs and 2) the access was difficult being a battleaxe block and 3) the council being painful in regards to being in a flood zone and having easements on the… Read more
property which delayed council approval , but Jade sorted all this out and Matt and his team got on with it and we got a beautiful pool in the end which were very happy with. Special mention must go to Robyn in the office who guided us through the whole process from start to finish and always keeping us up to date with whats happening she is fantastic , I would highly recommend Jade Pools for their professionalism and attention to detail and the final result which is a beautiful pool
Disappointed – Being a builder myself growing up in the hills area and knowing of these guys for 20 odd years , I always wanted Jade to build me a pool. Boy, times have changed. We are still waiting on a few fixes that have been swept under the rug as the final invoice has been paid and the filter is running. Anyway , without going into the many details ,… Read more
were glad to be done with them. :(
PM anyone me if required . Happy to assist and guide through the BS.
Really enjoying our new Jade Pool – The timing was perfect, just before Christmas. We use the pool daily and thanks to Matt’s suggestion, we put a heat pump on, so the temperature is so good to stay in longer. The pool package came with a Polaris auto cleaner which does a great job.
Fantastic company, great team from start to finish – Jade were one of many to quote our concrete pool. Definitely the only ones who followed up, went above and beyond to answer all our questions providing additional information all before we signed on the dotted line. Made the process easy and pleasant from start to finish. A Big Thank you to Matt and the team. Very professional and… Read more
exceptional before and after service.
A special thanks to Robyn, always goes above and beyond.
Wouldnt think twice about building with jade again.
In safe hands – I had a good feeling about Matt from the start. He renovated our existing pool and we love it. We opted for a MagnaPool and it’s wonderful. Matt communicated clearly, was on time and on the occasion when he couldn’t make it he rang to apologies and confirm the next date which he kept. There were some variances but Matt was reasonable with them and… Read more
delivered exactly what was contracted to do so. I would recommend Matt and his team to anyone.
My only suggestion is to make sure your happy with the stages and you read and understand each stage. Also make sure you understand the variance costs and make sure your also happy with the rates. Matt is fair and he will guide you. Well done to Matt and his team.
Great company! Perfect pool! – I really wanted a pool in my newly built house, but was concerned it wouldn't fit due to the lack of space in my backyard. Jade Pools came up with a solution and built a beautiful pool that my wife and I couldn't be happier with. All the staff from admin to the contractors are extremely professional and so easy to work with. Can't thank Jade enough for our pool
A company to trust – I was very scared to go forward with a pool at my newly built home. I’d built a pool before through another pool company when I was married and we had been hit hard with variations. As a single mum my budget wasn’t as flexible and I knew I could be a target for dodgy builders, so I told my sales consultant Gary that I needed to know all the costs… Read more
up front and know what I’d be up for outside of the building contract. Gary explained everything to me and I knew exactly what I was up for. I was shaking when I signed the contract, but boy I’m glad I signed with Jade Pools.
From then on I had 5 star communication from Robyn in the office, who I haven’t met but was so professional and quick and easy to deal with. Boris was onsite for the excavation and concreting, and again was so lovely to deal with. He was up front about the costs of the Rock, explained it all, and the excavator worked tirelessly for 3 days chipping away. And thanks Sean for the great concreting job.
Then Matt took over for finishing off the internal finish and liaising with everyone to complete filters, solar etc. what a professional man. His level of customer service is outstanding. Again I knew everything I needed to do from my end and he was helpful in pushing a couple of trades along that I’d organised. We hit one snag but Matt was there onsite very quickly and offered a resolution that we didn’t even need in the end, but that proved his willingness to assist his customer.
So happy that my dreams have come true and after school today my kids jumped into the pool on a 35 degree afternoon, I’m truly blessed I chose Jade Pools. Thank you.
Great Company, great pools – Built a pool with Jade and was the showpiece of our house when we sold it. Other pool companies were reluctant to build on our land due to the close proximity to our house but Jade managed to design and build a gem. When you build a pool, you have to be aware that there maybe other costs associated once they commence construction but you must do your own due diligence on this rather than simply blame the pool builder.....
Great pool builders – Great company, staff and contractors I Would build with jade again Very happy with my pool , couldn’t be any better Thanks jade

Spalling or Concrete Cancer – I very rarely comment online on businesses due to my nature. But after reading the past comment by kitch. I felt compelled to add a post. I recently built a pool with Jade Pools, had I known of this post I would have reconsidered. To be fair Jade Pools has a gem of a front desk admin lady and the pool work went smooth and completed to my… Read more
satisfaction. It was ~ 20% overbudget due to 'hidden cost' in the contract (rock, land fill, land is not stable...). But when issues started arising (my quality issues are trivial in comparison to Kitch) Jade Pools turned a deaf ear and were selective in answering emails went. It left a bad after taste considering i had sent ~$150K+ on a pool.. In my opinion, Jade Pools had become complacent not wanting to know about them.
Jade is run by father and son. The old man (as I was told by the contractors hired by Jade) is in the process of handing the reins to his son. From my recent experience the old man calls the shots.
Kitch, it appears you have concrete spalling also known as concrete cancer, Spalling is found in very old buildings or due to shoddy building practices. It is when the reo bars or steel reinforcement in the concrete starts rusting due to the external environment penetrating the concrete. The rust formation is an exothermic reaction generating heat that leads to the concrete cracking. This progressively worsens with wide cracks appearing until the structure becomes unsound.
With a swimming pool due to the corrosive environment the concrete is exposed to (mainly salt and chemicals such as chlorine in the water) and the weight of water (1 litre is abut 1 kg) a high strength concrete is mandatory. Strength or cohesiveness or binding ability of concrete including slump is measured by it Mpa (mega pascals). If (and only if !) an inferior or low slump concrete was used by a builder with 40+ years experience, who has 'dependable' contractors and a site supevisor on the job, I'm absolutely mortified!
My suggestion would be to hire a professional consultant in the field to analyse the issue, its root cause, severity and fix. Concrete cancer as the name implies is serious and will progressively worsen. If the concrete was inferior you should have a strong case in court. Sorry for alarming you, please do a google search to see if my comments make sense or not.
Poor quality build and poorer quality fix – Purchased the house with a $70000 Jade Pool which was one of the main selling points of the home. Seemingly an award winning pool the year it was built but anything but since. Noticed cracks in the exposed front wall soon after purchase and notified Jade Pools when several cracks turned into 11. The pool sits on a cliff and the front is an exposed… Read more
wall emptying into an infinity catch tank. Iron staining and significant buildup from corrosion of the steel inside the wall was becoming very evident on the wall at the front of the pool. This problem was ongoing for a few years and I alerted the company just before the warranty period was to expire. They tried to claim no warranty at the time but realised I had evidence and had alerted them inside warranty. A repair was undertaken that failed immediately, they were once again alerted to the problem and a second repair was undertaken that has since failed in 3 of the most major cracks. It is now evident that the crack in the front wall runs right through the bottom of the pool and up the other side so who knows what could be happening there as it is under the ground and can't be accessed. This time round the owner simply dismissed any responsibility claiming that it is outside warranty period and not their problem any more. They did anticipate problems with the pool because the son of the owner advised me at the first repair that the concrete that was delivered during construction was not of sufficient quality and could not be put injected using their normal methods so that the failure was not unexpected. The situation is now a Civil Court matter if I wish to pursue it, with the Department of Fair Trading no longer having jurisdiction because it is outside warranty regardless of the situation being reported inside the warranty period and not being resolved adequately. These companies obviously know this and figure if they can hold off things till after warranty that it is all to difficult for people to pursue them through the courts. A fix is quite possible and other pool builders have said it needs resurfacing on the inside with a waterproof coating to stop the water infiltrating the wall of the pool - should have been done first time and then problem solved. Just a shame that these people can do this sort of thing and get away with it. I am sure they have built some very good pools for people but just be aware you may not get yours fixed if it happens to be one of the ones that does fail.
No regard for the customer – We recently had an inground, concrete pool completed by Jade Pools. From signing of the contract to completion date it took 8 months (it was not a complicated job). We are happy enough with the quality of the work done by their contractors. We were left however very disappointed in their attitude towards the customer and their inability to be… Read more
flexible in situations. The day their sub-contractor electricians were here working on the filter box, 7 of our home appliances blew up including dishwasher, microwave, set top box, home phone, laptop adapter, DVD Player). We understand sometimes 1 perhaps 2 appliances can go when electrical work is being done but 7 was ridiculous when everything was working fine and some of the appliances were under 2 years old. Our personal electrician came to have a look and was confident that it was something they had done.
Jade Pools were of course contacted however they did not want to know or have anything to do with it. As far as they were concerned it was up to us to deal with the Electrician and sort out.
So the electrician had to make a claim through his insurance company which took a couple of months to sort out. Our final payment and handover with Jade Pools was due and we requested that the final payment be made once we received the insurance money as we were left out of pocket for the damages. Jade Pools of course would not allow that and until we paid there would be no handover and interest would be charged after a certain amount of time. We argued that Jade Pools employed the contractors, not us therefore should take part of the responsibility. At the end of the day they operate solely on the contract, they don't care if a particular incident comes up, they don't care about the customer they want their money and take no responsibility.
Our pool cost over $90k and all our payments were made on time with no problem. We didn't feel, given the circumstances that we were asking for much but a little understanding and compassion. We are fully aware that extra costs can come up when building a pool and that is NOT our issue with them it was the fact that they didn’t care and were so inflexible and rude about it all.....
If you want a pool built in a timely manner and would expect a certain level of customer service (even if it is not formerly written in a contract!) then do not go with Jade Pools.
