Fantastic little ripper – we have the 2004 Jayco freedom poptop and i love it. we have taken her to many places, she is comfortable, many storage areas. easy to tow its comfortable to use we set her up for free camp, she has 2 gel batteries and solar panels. she only sleeps 2. nice size double bed. found the mattress abit hard so we got a memory pillow top. soooooooooo much better. we love it., we used to tow her with our crewman ute. not bad with the fuel, but have up graded to the triton ute so we can go more 4x4.

2001 freedom expanda 19' hard top – We lived in ours for 18mths, as well as several trips away, the van was a very comfortable, no leaking issues, although the canvas did pull out a little from the van. Toilet/shower was great, kitchen fab. Excellent amount of room, with the slide out lounge. Heaps of storage. Easy to tow and set up, I am a single woman and managed easily. spacious, easy to tow & setup, lots of storage

I am in the process of buying the Sterling Pop Top which appears to be good value for money. YES YES I have heard all the negative commnents from the people who don't even own a Jayco but are willing to slam it.

When you ask them what is wrong they start the conversation by saying "Well a friend told me" they don't know for themselves.

In all products there will be hic-cups don't fool your self that there won't be.

When a brand as 60% of the market, obviously there will be more hic-cups for them than that from the 40% that is a statistical fact with any product.

What really counts is the after service to rectify the hic-cups.

I have been told by my salesperson let the caravan settle it self down over 1000klm and bring it back to make any fine adjustments that are required. You can't ask for more than that now can you.

You are statistcally getting a very good product otherwise they wouldn't have 60% of the market, that speaks for its self.

If I am paying a ball park figure of $45,000 for mine the compedators would be at least $20,000 more.

Go to any Caravan show and see for your self.

We have this van. It is great. Thoroughly recommend. We are selling it, reluctantly, as we now need a toilet/shower in our van

report back jayco reprogramed satellite dish as there was a new program to be installed also fixed a slight leak in lounge area all under warranty no arguments what so ever now we have been on the road for 4 months and loving every minute of it this motor home turns heads as it is quite large and spacey ,,...go jayco ,,....and yes I agree all MH /vans and anything mobile on the road has problems even simple trailers do wheel bearings so make it all part of your journey fixed and move on we all have problems in life as well .as humans go in for repairs ..lol...keep smiling .....

Excellent – We love being able to hitch it up - and off we go!its very affordable, and easy to manouvre once on the road. We love it! We love out Jayco Freedom. The inside is very well designed, choice of twin or double beds. loads of storage. The pop top roof is very easy to raise. I can do it by myself - and I have Arthritis. We also have the awning that attaches on the outside which is great for extra guests or shelter, or another 'room'. Easy to tow too. We changed to deep cycle batteries so wecan keep the fridge on when the power is off. the only bad thing about it - is that the kids are saying we are always going away!!WE have also had 2 mattress's madeas the normal foam mattress's made our backs ache- but then both Hubby and I have bad backs, so may be ok for others.
