An unassuming shop hidden inside residential area in Oakleigh near Monash University, Clayton campus. It has actually been trading since 1996 according to its website. But it is truly impressive when it comes to construction vehicles like cranes, earth-movers, mining vehicles, trucks, trailers and related accessories. There is no other place that come close. Perhaps the closest is Model Mania. Still, if you are after American Diorama figurines, Jays model has at least two dozens to choose from. How about accessories like a vintage petrol bowser or workshop set, Jays Model trumps again with quite a few of them. Jays models even have a large USB powered turntable with mirror top and side. Just look after the mirror top because it is not real glass so it can be easily scratched.
